« on: March 06, 2009, 11:56:56 AM »
I got my results from my last blood test (drawn the 25th of february). CD4: 46%=1086. Viral Load: undetectable. CD8-CD4 ratio: 1.23
Then I went to visit my friend Maria who has just had a plastic surgery done. She was in a dram saying: never again and smoking in the room. I just left her... ;D ;D ;D

Congrats!

I hate you. (jk)  I just got back from my ID docs appointment and did not have nearly such good news. :-\  Never the less, I really am happy for you.

Isn't smoking right after plastic surgery counter productive to the results? Call me stupid, but just what is this dram thing?

Thank you for sharing my excitement. Of course smoking is the worst you can do to heal after any surgery. But Maria is "crazy" and addicted to noctine and alcohol. In fact she came from the surgery room very upset. She couldnīt keep her right arm still and she said it was her "sindrome". I canīt even remember the name of her sindrome even though she has told me many times. I think is something she has invented to hide her alcoholism.
The Dr came into the room and told her "lets behave before talking". So I can figure her behaviour in the recovery room.
Then she started smoking, she was caught 3 times, and started eating "cheetos" before she was allowed to eat. She was moving all the time. I think a glass of white wine (what she drinks all day) would have calmed her much more than all the drugs they gave her. I really thought about getting her a bottle from the closest supermaket before leaving...
I went to visit my friend Felix really who is spending the night with her at the clinic. I left them as soon as posible while Felix asked me not to live him alone with her...Poor Felix. I think he is not going to sleep tonight but they are very close friends and nobedy from her family went to visit her.
