NO MORE EXCUSES LADIES!
« on: August 04, 2006, 01:27:39 PM »
I hate waiting while you change your clothes 40 times trying to decide which shade of BLACK makes you look thinner behind your left knee.  I hear by am serving notice to you denizens of the cloth, I will NO longer be accepting of your outdated and unfounded claims of clothing conundrums in regards to your tardiness to ANY function!

I present you with EXHIBIT A:

edited for alliteration purposes! IE conundrum.

LIFE is not a race to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well-preserved body, but, rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--WOW! WHAT A
RIDE!!!

How is that possible?!  :o
Her finely-touched spirit had still its fine issues, though they were not widely visible. Her full nature, like that river of which Cyrus broke the strength, spent itself in channels which had no great name on the earth. But the effect of her being on those around her was incalculably diffusive: for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.

OK Andrew a slight exaggeration..but I will let that one slip, but you know. you guys play a very big part in all this.

When getting ready for a night out I have heard things from "God, your not wearing that are you?" to "I suppose it will have to do" that is enough to send any women back to the bedroom to try again, and again, and again.

It's really all very simple, all you have to do is tell us how wonderful we look (in the first outfit) and we are out the door...no more waiting around..problem solved... ;)

Hugs

I'm actually a pretty indecisive dresser; patient friends and ex-boyfriends have kindly tolerated my changing shirts seven times and vacillating between belts. I usually end up wearing what was my first instinct anyway. J.
