Extreme Makeover Home Edition - Here!
« on: January 19, 2009, 04:23:31 PM »
The show is currently here in El Paso doing a home makeover which will air in March. It's a little exciting knowing that the production crew and Ty are in town. Today it was announced they're going to film the "move that bus" sequence. ABC had sent the family to the Bahamas for a week in which they return today to see the final outcome. It's so unusual, in the news they reported people had been arriving at the house since 5 am and they're not shooting the scene til 2 pm!
The family is known to do a lot of volunteer work for the poor in Juarez, MX.

Lately, there's been so much coverage here about the drug wars, murders, killings of innocent bystanders, kidnappings, beheadings...horrible things. It's nice to hear something positive is going on here in El Paso for a change!
In Hollywood an equitable divorce settlement means each party getting fifty per cent of publicity.

A week of watching hunky construction workers ended by Ty running around shouting through a megaphone and seeing some family cry tears of joy.  I would pay good money for that show:)
