What to do with unused drugs? (Dapsone and Mepron)
« on: January 15, 2009, 03:49:51 PM »
I have 30 days worth of Mepron and Dapsone that I don't need anymore because my cd4 count rose so fast.

I'd hate to see $600 worth of meds go to waste when people may need them.

What can I do?

contact your local Aids organization and or clinic to see if they will be able to accept them from you... to give to someone who needs the meds...

Okay, I called my clinic and they said they had people who could use them.

LOL!!!  Somehow, I don't think these are the right drugs for that.

The article doesn't list the names, but I wonder which antiretrovirals they are smoking?  They seem to be saying just one does this.
