Is there anyboy who turn positive from 3 month negative ?
« on: April 10, 2008, 06:25:00 AM »
Hello, This is first time to post for me.
First of all, I am sorry because of my english skill. Let me tell my story.

I had a protected sex with CSW in moscow last Dec. 16.
Before I had a bad experience, I was so strong. :D
I have had a lot of symptoms since I had a bad experience as followings,

1 week ~ 2 week : feeling too cold even though I was in sauna
3 week ~ 4 week : a cold in the nose, several pimple in my head(for 10 weeks)
5 week : had test with PCR and ELISA, negative
5 week ~ 6 week : a coating on the tongue, diarrhea(for 1week), fatigue(for 2 week)
6 week ~ 8 week : fatigue(with sore muscle on my shoulder), a coating on the tongue
8 week : had test with PCR and ELISA, negative
9 week ~ 15 week : sounding from my stomach, fatigue, pain on left chest near by nipple
10 week : had test with PCR and ELISA, negative
11 week ~ : a cold in the nose
12 week : had test with Kits, negative
14 week : had test with Kit and ELISA, negative
14 week ~ today : a cold in the nose and sore throat, a coating on the tongue, diarrhea(for 3 day unitl now), fatigue
16 week : had test with PCR and ELISA, negative

during my symthoms, my familly had the other symthoms. three days ago, my elder son who is 11 years old had sore tongue which looks like strawberry. He have had sore tongue for 2 weeks.

My son's symthoms make me crazy.

Q1. Is it possible to turn to positive?
Q2. Do I have to test again at 6 and 12 month?
Q3. Is there anyone who turn positive from negative after having a negative result on 3 month?

Chris,

I moved your thread out of the "I Just Tested Poz" forum into the "Am I Infected" forum, which is the ONLY place you should be posting. Make sure you read our Welcome Thread so you can familiarise yourself with our posting guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

It's no surprise you have tested negative - you never had a risk in the first place. Condoms have been proven to prevent hiv infection and you used a condom.

You didn't need to test - and you certainly didn't need to test as many times as you have. You're lucky you never got a false positive from one of the PCRs - they're notorious for that and are not approved for diagnostic purposes for that reason.

The hiv window period is THREE months, so even if you did have a risk (which you did not), you would be conclusively hiv negative.

You do not have hiv.

See your doctor about you and your family's medical concerns. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv.

Thank you for your comment.

As you know, I want to move on from phobia of HIV with negative result.

CDC mentioned that rare case should test again on 6 month after event.

And I have a lot of symthoms in my body and familly.

Most of phobia has same situation as me. Therefore, I want to know how many person who turn positive from 3 month negative are and what their body condition was.

I have gout but I don't take any medicine for it.

Is it one of side effect to check correctly for HIV?

Best regards,

Chris

Only a small group of people seroconvert after the 13 week window period, this group includes those who are receiving immuno-suppressive therapy after transplant procedures, cancer patients who are receiving chemotherapy and long term injecting drug users.

You are HIV negative and as Ann said you need to talk to your doctor about your famly's health it has nothing to do with HIV.

Chris,

I merged the post you left in another forum and put it here, in your own thread, which is the ONLY place you should be posting anything. Make sure you read the posting guidelines found in our Welcome Thread and ABIDE by them. Please consider yourself warned.

You've already been told that you are conclusively hiv negative. You do NOT have hiv.

You never even had a risk in the first place. Condoms prevent hiv transmission.

You and your son need to consult a doctor or dentist to find out what, if anything, is wrong with you. We cannot diagnose you here but we CAN tell you that whatever is going on has NOTHING to do with hiv. You do NOT have hiv. You are CONCLUSIVELY hiv negative.

You will not be permitted to use this forum to continually question your negative hiv status. You'll know that when you read the Welcome Thread like I've asked you to. Please consider yourself warned, again.

Ann

edited to add: I realised after I posted that you've already been told about posting in the I Just Tested Poz forum. Breach our posting guidelines one more time and you'll be banned from posting ANYwhere on these forums. Three strikes and you're OUT.

Hi, everybody.

It has been almost 9 months since I had an intercourse with SW in moscow.
I already had negative result from ELISA in 6 month after envent.
But I still have so many symptoms such as arches on the burning on palatal and fatigue and some spot on my arm.
My elder son has an inflammation on his skin of eyes. it isn't healed well with any medicine.

That make me a most crazy.

Q1. Does ELISA cover to detect all of HIV (HIV-1, HIV-2, etc) ?
Q2. Is there anyone who return to positive from 6 month negative ?

Chris,

With that extensive tesing history of yours, if you had hiv, believe me, you'd know it.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV.

YOU NEVER HAD A RISK IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Keep coming back with this no-risk, conclusive negative situation and you'll quickly be given a time out.

You really need to go and talk to a Doctor, whatever is happening to your body has nothing..NOTHING to do with HIV, you are getting way out of hand with this, you also need to seek some kind of therapy with your HIV phobia, we can' t help you any more...it's time for you to move on.
