That sounds like a re-make of a made for Cable-TV-Movie , about 10 years ago on Showtime, think it was called The Harvey Milk Story, but, if this is anything like that, I hope it's a little bit better than the Showtime Cable Tv's Version, not that thee original was bad, but it seem to focus more on Dan White, then It did Harvey Milk, but it was kinda interesting to see how Dan WHite went crazy and Killed himself, after years of dealing with the whole ordeal, after he got outta Prison for the Murder of Mayor John Mosscone & Harvey Milk ???

I'm going to try and go see this on Monday afternoon.  This movie has gotten rave reviews from the critics and I won't be surprised to see some Oscar nominations -- supposedly Sean Penn's acting with this character is unlike anything he's ever done.

I've been following development for this for a good year as I love Gus Van Sant's work.

Plus James Franco is about the most perfect male in the universe, not to mention he's doing back to back gay roles as his next movie he portrays Allen Ginberg during his 1950's obscenity trial.

Gosh, I want to see it so much that I am trying desperately to find it online for downloading.. :)

As a former resident of the Bay, I have friends sending me emails and photos about the shootings in Castro and some were volunteering as extras in a couple of scenes. Hopefully it's still being shown by the time I am back in San Francisco for Xmas this year..

James Franco is lovely.. I didn't care much about him before, but he was cute and very groovy in a Northern California way that is irresistible..

James Franco is even worth it in Annapolis just to watch him boxing.  Otherwise it's a tired movie, but it's often on TV for free.

I need to torrent Pineapple Express.

Now if only someone could teach Steven Strait how to act life would be perfect.
