007,

I'm not going to call you crazy, but your friends are correct. HIV is not transmitted this way.

Please read the Welcome Thread[/. It has links to HIV transmission info.

This epidemic is going to be around for a longtime to come. Read our lesson on transmission and learn about the real risks.

Amanda,

The waitress didn't put blood in your Pepsi, You say you had cuts in your mouth, that's why your refreshing beverage tasted like it had blood in it.

Get a grip girl.

Please take the time to read our Welcome Thread and follow the links to our Lessons to learn more about how HIV is and is not transmitted.

You don't need to test for HIV, you were not infected.

The notion that one could get HIV from environmental surfaces was disproven in the earliest stages of the pandemic, in the 1980s.

 It is now 2008.

I urge you to familiarize yourself with the lessons provided on this site. If not for you, for your child.

"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

Amanda, we're absolutely not interested in taking on the task of being responsible for what is said elsewhere on the net. If you continue to surf the net you will unquestionably find sources that will confirm your worst fears.

Of course they are wrong. Absolutely wrong. What we tell you here is grounded in HIV science with which we are well experienced. You don't have to believe us. We are very careful about the information we give out.

If you allow your fears to rule the day you're going to make yourself very unhappy -- all totally unnecessary.

You were not at risk in the situation you presented. Period. End of story. Get on with your life.

Amanda,

Unless you drank a whole cup of blood directly out of someone's vein, you weren't at risk. Even drinking a whole cup of fresh blood would NOT guarantee infection. There's no way in hell the hiv virus could survive and be able to infect after being in Pepsi or any other drink.

If you think you may have OCD, then the correct place to deal with that is face-to-face in a therapists office, not on an internet website. We cannot help you with your OCD here.

If you've read the Welcome Thread like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote
Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned.

And please, for the sake of your child if nothing else, get some professional help for your emotional problems surrounding hiv. We cannot help you with that here.

This is not a laughing matter. However, like your previous entries it is also not even remotely a risk for HIV.

Frankly, we're not willing to indulge you everytime you have one of these HIV fright episodes. If you can't get past this kind of thing then I suggest you see a professional to talk about what is really driving your totally ungrounded fears about HIV.

As a mother you need to be getting your head together about HIV issues because one of these days you are going to need to teach your child about how to be safe in relation to the HIV virus.

Also, I have merged your threads. Please follow our rule and keep all of your entries in this same thread.

This is NOT an HIV situation and I suggest you get yourself the kind of help we cannot provide here.

How much clearly can I say it than when I say you did not even remotely have any risk?

Are you reading what is being said to you or just going to tell me again that you're scared...and not listening.

No, it cannot. HIV is spread through unprotected sex. Please read our lessons section regarding transmission.

Amanda,

Yet again, I've merged your new thread into your original thread - where you should post all your additional thoughts or questions. It helps us to help you when you keep all your additional thoughts or questions in one thread.

If you need help finding your thread when you come here, click on the "Show own posts" link under your name in the left-hand column of any forum page.

Please also read through the Welcome Thread so you can familiarize yourself with our Forum Posting Guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

You've been asked repeatedly to read the posting guidelines and the Transmission Lesson, yet you continue to create new threads to ask the same types of transmission questions. I don't think we're getting through to you.

We cannot help you with your hiv phobia here. And yes, constantly worrying about hiv in food and/or drink is an hiv phobia. I suggest you seek face to face counseling. We've done all we can for you here.

I'm giving you that time out you've been warned about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.
