Okay- CD8 question, docs want blood screen to check
« on: November 08, 2008, 07:40:04 AM »
Okay okay-  I took a BIG GIRL PILL over my cd4 numbers hovering (different post, different day) started 14 month ago at 134 now 198.  My VL went to under 45 almost immediately and has stayed there.
I got a call late yesterday afternoon from my nurse Kimmy kim kim. and she said that "they were reviewing the results from my blood test from two weeks ago and my CD8 (?) count was funny.  I could swear she said the level was 2.8.  I was in the middle of three things at work- at my desk- lines ringing- and try to scribble discreetly.  they wasn't to do a blood draw to compare.

I am on ATRIPLA AND BACTRIM (every other day).  She said something about how it may be the BACTRIM but they need to review.
So I digest this for a minute and when I try calling back, they are gone for the day! URGGH.
I am not flipping, I promise,  but I am trying to find out more about what may be going on.  Anyone gone through this?  I PROMISE THAT I HAVE TAKEN AN EVEN BIGGER "BIG GIRL PILL"

I would like to walk into my appointment with at least the right questions and a little background.
Thanks everyone
