So, it's been getting a little intense around here

For the past couple of weeks, there have been more and more people showing up on street corners to demonstrate for and against Prop8, the amendment that will "eliminate the right of same sex couples to marry"

This weekend it has gotten pretty intense and sometimes violent.

N. California had it's first major storm this past weekend too and it did nothing to dampen the spirits of either side.

Sharkie...we drove down 99 from Chico on Saturday and I didn't see one "NO on 8" sign but plenty of 'Yes' signs.  Let's just hope the rest of the state can negate the Sac.and San Joaquin Valleys and the Inland Empire down South.  It's going to be a tight race.

Living on the Russian River, I have seen very few Yes on 8 signs.  There was 3 on the road to Forestville but they had been removed over the past few weeks.  I used to have this thing about voting, if I didn't fully understand a proposition, I would automatically vote NO  ;D  Have the best day
