...and my dear, I'm still here.....

I don't have HIV anymore.

Today, I woke up, enjoying the idea of going to work, as I have done for the past two weeks.  I was so excited, I even went in early.  Who would have thunk?  And, when work was over, I was happy to go home.  And, happier than I, was my wiener.  He's become so loving and needy, that I can barely check my email.  As I write this, he's finally settled under my arm, having relented in kissing me out of my sanity.

I've finally found some peace with my life - and I never would have thought that returning to Iowa could have done that for me.  I think I understand the split lifeline in my hand, now.  A gypsy fortune teller once told me that it was quite curious, and that she hadn't seen one so deeply removed from itself.

It seems that this, most recent, stay in the ass end of Iowa was a rebirth in preparation for me to attempt the next part of my life, back in the Western region of the country.  I am now a Casino Table Games Dealer - having successufully completed the schooling required - I am now working as a dealer at one of the local casinos.  I can say without hesitation, and perhaps with a bit of regret, that I wish I had done it sooner.  I enjoy it so immensely.

I love my dog, I love my job, and I love my life.

And, until I witnessed someone with a nosebleed at work today, I didn't have HIV.

I should probably go get my labs done.

joseph......

It's so good to read your stuff again.

As for not having HIV anymore, well, maybe that was in the cards.
