I recently got word that my Vl is now undetectable. Very lucky here. I've been on Atripla since early summer. My doc was very pleased with my last labs, good CD4's(667), that he didn't even test this time. No side effects, 100% adherhence.
Next appointment in January.

6/23/08 Vl 47500  CD4 511/29% CD8 .60

8/1/08 Vl 130  CD4 667/31% CD8 .70
9/18/08 Vl un  CD4 not tested

Now that was quick! (reaching undetect, that is)  It only took me 18 months or so and I'm 100% adherent, too!  I guess there are benefits to starting meds early judging by your numbers.  Keep up the good work.

 In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started my first  HAART regimen  on October 24th,03.

 As of 6/4/14,  t-cells are at 423, Viral load <40

 Current % is at 13%

Congrats on becoming Undetectable!!

We started with very similar #'s and I was also lucky to become UD in just 5 weeks of meds.  I guess there is something to be said for starting earlier?!

Thank You all for your kind words and support!
I was a little aprehensive to starting meds with my relatively good numbers.
I have an aggresiive doc who after talking to me was confident that I was ready, educated and would work hard to be adherent. To be honest I don't want to let him down.

I thank God I was tested early while I was healthy.
I can't stress how important for everyone to get tested, so the virus can be controlled!
