Rookie,

Kissing is NOT a risk for hiv transmission. Not even if you tasted blood.

If you're seriously thinking about suicide, go to your nearest hospital's emergency room and speak to someone there.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Rookie,

You sent me a moderator report to ask if we can speak in private. No, sorry, we can't. We don't do that here. If you have further questions, write them here in your thread.

Rookie,

Nobody can diagnose your symptoms over the internet. You'll have to go see a doctor.

Rookie,

I removed the thread you started in the Living With forum and merged it here, into your existing thread.

If you've read the Welcome Thread like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote
With the exception of the “Am I Infected?” and “Off Topic” Forums, the AIDSmeds.com Forums are intended for people who have been diagnosed with HIV (or their loved ones/caregivers).  If you are questioning or unaware of your HIV status, please refrain from posting messages or questions in the Forums intended for HIV-positive people.

Thank you for your cooperation.

We have plenty of members of these forums who have been living with hiv for as long - or even longer - than Bob Bowers. Today's medications do a great job at keeping us healthy. It's still not a walk in the park though and we're still a long way away from a cure.

So use condoms when you have anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple. Read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use them with confidence.

Ann

Rookie,

I didn't see you edited your post above until just now.

Your four week negative result is not going to change. Drop the drama - not one person has ever been infected as a result of a kiss and you aren't going to be the first.

You don't have hiv.

Rookie,

Seriously, Ann is right on.  Your making something out of nothing.  Take a moment and a deep breath and go out and enjoy this beautiful time of year,  you have NOTHING to worry about!
