Medication costs to the NHS
« on: September 26, 2008, 09:38:17 PM »
This is perhaps the wrong place to ask this, but I was wondering what a month's course of various antiretrovirals costs the NHS. In particular, my own: Kivexa and Viramune. I've looked all over and can't find this information, so let's finally get it written down somewhere!

Broadly speaking as per figs here:

Even though these are 2006 figs, the price will not be much different. Kivexa (440) + Viramune (190) = 630/month. If you get your meds delivered to home, the cost to the NHS, for some bloody arcane VAT reason, is 17.5% cheaper.
