What am I here for...?
« on: September 01, 2008, 12:29:18 AM »
I am living with my ex-husband, only to find that he has talked to a transvestite, or so this really stupid profile on an AIM profile site read.  The add said "Transvestite hosepeeler" was the person's name and their hobbie was "the wood".  Can anyone tell me what transvestite hosepeeler means?  The other part said, "You're going to dress like a girl and get F.... like a girl."
Sorry if anyone was offended here.
The profile page is not even for anyone with AIDs or HIV as far as I know.  Yet he is on there with an add.
Then through more searching I found he had a profile.
This from a man who told me he values trust, honesty, and loyalty.
I am pist!  Of course he has the excuses, still every click of the mouse couses him to tell another version or add to.
So far he thought it was a car add.  And naturally he replied by saying, "it is hot here it is 112 degrees today hope you are having as nice summer too."

Blue, I'm a bit confused as well.  He's telling you he thought it was a car add?  If that's what he's telling you, frankly, I wouldn't buy it.  It's quite clear what the add stated.

The best advice I can give you is to consider joint counseling.  Go together to a counselor (if you feel this relationship is worth saving) and be totally honest.  I think these kind of circumstances are best served with a licensed professional.

Good luck.
  Luv,
Betty

My husband is getting rid of AOL, and getting a new e-mail address.
I simply said I would not believe he had not contacted this girl.  I left him alone and I got online here.  He came into the living room a few minutes later and told me to cancel AOL and we will use another source for internet access.
Thank God I came online and left him alone, he thought about something, and now I feel better for not yelling at him.
I will not throw out the counseling idea, but I will work with our life the way it is now.
He is doing something to change the situation for us for the better.
And thanks for the responses.
