MI5 seeks gay spies in attempt to expand its recruiting base

Gay men were traditionally kept out of the intelligence services because they were more vulnerable to blackmail... and brownmale and whitemale and tanmale.... ;D

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Hey Ann,

When we were setting up the opening of our Community Reconnect Task Force, the question "who would hire people living with HIV?" came up in conversation.   At the time the San Francisco PD was searching for gay officers and those living with HIV were of interest because of the large gay community in the city.  ;D  Have the best day

The Washington Post ran an update yesterday on the following story regarding a highly experienced terrorist expert with a stellar military career who happens to be transgendered. She sued the Library of Congress for rescinding a previous job offer:

That was a very interesting read, thanks for sharing... D
Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
Calvin Coolidge
