Here are my kids (cat and dog)
« on: June 01, 2008, 05:01:37 PM »
The dog is Shelby. She is a 3yo Cairn Terrier and the cat is Felicity. She is 1yo and her color is called tortoise. I rescued her from a dumpster when she was just 2 weeks old a year ago.

Felicity and Shelby are adorable.  Very nice looking family.

If memory serves me, Toto from the Wizard of Oz was a Cairn Terrier. Interestingly enough, Toto was the only main "actor" who was paid less than Judy Garland. Another interesting factoid is regarding the cat, Tortiseshell cats (as well as Calicos) are Always females. I had a really big Tortie years ago named Meatball, due to her overall shape. We got her as a stray with kittens, so we don't know how long she actually lived, but she made 19 years with us. Beautiful kids you have there dgr.

The only thing I can do straight is shoot..

Wow  thanks for the info re the tortoise color of the cat. I had no idea they were only females and yes Toto was a Cairn. People call my dog Toto all the time when I am walking her down the street so Toto has a lot of fans out there :-)

The cat was very small when I got her about two weeks old and she is really getting big. She loves to eat as if she may not ever get another meal.
