Joss Whedon is set to direct the new Wonder Woman movie. Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lopez, and Jessica Biel are some of the people rumored to be in the running as the amazon princess.

I thought Australian model, Megan Gale, has been chosen to play Wonder Woman in the upcoming Justice League of America film. http://www.slashfilm.com/2007/11/30/megan-gale-is-wonder-woman/.

Physically, she is perfect - big hair and big boobies, but whether or not she can act is a different matter.

Maybe Ellen Paige could play Drucilla (I'm not sure how Debra Winger spelled it).  Anyone would have to be better then that horrible movie with Cathie Lee.

You haven't really lived till you've seen the 1967 proposed Wonder Woman pilot, done way before the Cathy Lee Crosby travesty.  It was done by the folks who gave us the Adam West Batman,  Diana was played by someone named Ellie Wood Walker (and her "mother"... I can't believe she was supposed to be Hippolyte, wearing a housecoat-style dress was played by character actress Maudie Prickett.  Diana is shown to be a klutz and living in what looks like an apartment with her mother.  She not only keeps her bracelets in a drawer (!) but turns into Wonder Woman by going through one of those revolving walls from horror movies.  The announcer says "Wonder Woman, who knows she has the strength of Hercules, who knows she has the wisdom of Athena, who knows she has the speed of Mercury, and thinks she has the beauty of Aphrodite."  Then she spends a good minute admiring herself in a mirror, blowing kisses (obviously a double) before flying off BY FLAPPING HER ANKLES.

And in case you were wondering, yes, I tried uploading it to You Tube but the fine folks at DC Comics/Warner Bros. had it yanked.  But I did trade a dupe of it with one of the editors of WW (at the time) for a copy of the LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES ARCHIVES #10.

I have the entire wonder woman song as one of my ringtones. Everyone on my contact list has their own tone so I know who is calling without looking.
