Ok, I stopped posting the history because some where the Roman numerals went off. I know I am buzzed but not that buzzed. I still have have not finished my hair but I am determined to get it done today. Plus last night I was a bit too high, I must admit......

Well, ladies, I have to say that Kevin has now graduated to stalker. He came over last night and rang the bell, banged on the door and was throwing shit at my window. The roomie went down and answered the door, told him I had company(which was gay friend) and this fool was still begging to see me. After he left here he drove past my other friend's house, she saw his car after I told her about him being here. You would think he would get the hint by now...Geez

Betty, Well I am glad someone is getting laid. Cindy is too so that's two that we know about and I can assume Mum gets hers in when the kids is sleeping...lol...Guess I better buy some batteries again.

Viv-- Sorry to hear about your doctor. Definitely find a new one. It took me awhile before I found mine and I love him. He's gay and I get hugs at every appointment.

I need to run. I have to finish my hair. I will check back later hopefully.

Queen - Uuughh stalker. I know he is a bit psycho but lets hope he doesn't go overboard. You got a baseball bat or a gun?

Betty - I guess that means I'm nuts. LOL The color was supposed to be dark ash blonde. My hair never turns the color its supposed to but each and every time I think "ok maybe this time I'll get lucky and I'll get the hair color I want." I've been coloring my hair for 20 years now and it happens every time.  :P

Queen, its time for Kevin to lose a NUT.  Stalker = Leg-Humper in my book.  Damn him!

Mum!!!!!!!!!!  I'm sooooooooooo glad the Vick's worked!  On the feet, who woulda thunk?  My massage therapist is the one who told me about the remedy last fall.  Wait until I tell her of your good news!

Going to watch hockey with Iceman, we had dessert before dinner tonight.  ;)   :P

I'll try and get the links on here.....

Morning ladies:

Queen, please be careful with Kevin.  My bff had a stalker and he ended up being put in jail eventually because of all his extreme shit.  And my sister's (Phoenix sister) ex stalked her and he ended up on felony probation.  You never know how far some of these people will take it.  I know you have weapons there, but please, please be careful.  Oh, I have a vibrator also, btw.

Cin, I hope you got to Iceman's and got some TLC.  How's the new diabetes route going anyway?

Mum, glad to hear the Vicks is working.  Hopefully you'll be back to new pretty soon.

I really have nothing on the agenda today.  My friend is leaving sometime.  I do have homework to read that I seem to put off until the last minute.  I actually cooked yesterday.  I was quite pleased with myself.  It was homemade spanish rice and it was good.  Ok ladies, be good, take care of yourselves and I'll check back in later.

Hello ladies.  Lazy sunday morning here. I am off work for 2 whole days.Whatever shall I do      Actually I can think of quite a few things that need doing but I don't wanna. My highlander books are calling my name. Diana Gabaladon is a really great author.                     Queen, watch out for Kevin. Sounds like he is missing a few gears and it would be a shame if you had to defend yourself or your home cause he is being a idiot.                                                                            Ml, have fun at Ice's house. I meant to tell you , congratulations on kicking ass on those big accounts.                                                   Betty, hope you had a great time this weekend with your guest. Homemade Spanish rice sounds really tasty.                                        MM, glad you are feeling better. Next time I am really sick, I will try Moonlight's Miracle Cure and hope it works for me                                  Win, definitely not ash blond but your hair is a very pretty color. I like it. I used to get that really bright red the Ferria has out. I loved it. Then I stopped dying my hair and now it is a nice mousy brown. But it has pretty highlights so....                                       Not much going today, waiting for the boys to go to church and then I will go outside and have a nice wake and bake. I thought about going with them but am not going.                            This lady floored me at work Wednesday by asking if she could pray for me. I had her pray for my oldest instead, that he will find some peace.             Okay, I will check in later. Hope everyone has a great day..  Cristy

Just one?

 ;D

Win, definitely not ash blond but your hair is a very pretty color. I like it. I used to get that really bright red the Ferria has out. I loved it. Then I stopped dying my hair and now it is a nice mousy brown.
My eyebrows are a dark ash blond or light mousy brown. Same difference. My roots are basically that same light mousy brown with white hair and red highlights.
If I dyed my hair red my god would it be red. My hair loves red. I just don't care for it much. My skin has a pink tone to it so I think the red looks wrong on me.
It was so much easier when my hair was naturally blond LOL

My brother has the same weird hair thing. Whats left of his hair on his head is a blond, brown mix. His body hair is dark brown and his facial hair is red.
My hair on my thighs is blond but below the knee it is real dark brown. Hair on my arms is blond but my pits are that real dark brown.

Good afternoon my sweeties!  It is such a lovely day here in WV with more of the same promised for next week.  We may even see some 70 degree temperatures.  YEAH!!!!!!!!!!  Even if you don't have a cold or a cough, I highly recommend the Vick's footie rub.  The callouses on my heels have NEVER been this smooth - not even with warm Vaseline.  I'm still coughing, still sneezing, and still not back to 100%, but goodness, i am doing better.

Nothing notable has happened today - it's been a very nice, lazy, Sunday.  After church, my parents took us out to lunch.  Free food and I didn't have to cook or clean up.  Hard to argue with that.  Tuesday, we are off to Pittsburgh, via IHOP, to visit the zoo.  Wednesday, we're taking the kids to see "Nim's Island".  Thursday, is Hubby's 41st birthday - complete with pineapple upsidedown cake, new running shoes, and a scent which is yet to be determined because I still can't smell.

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday and may the lovliness carry us over until next weekend.  Love to you all!

It is good to see everyone so cheerful on this Sunday. I am still working on my hair but it will be finished later. Other than that, I am being quite lazy too. Thanks for posting the previous threads, Cindy. Did you notice the numbers being wrong too? Thanks for the concern about Kevin, I am not really worried about him. I told another friend(gay too) about the situation and he said next time Kevin shows up to call him. My friend doesn't look gay either and is bigger than Kevin. If he should show up, it is going to be funny as hell.

The weather here is sunny but the wind is making it cold. I think it 54 or somewhere in there. Tomorrow it is suppose to be 56. Hmm, when it breaks into the 60's I may put some shorts on. Good to see you posting again, Christy. Enjoy those days off. Now is the time to get the spring cleaning in, ladies. I know we all dread it but there's something each us has been putting off doing.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow with my primary. I'm sure he is going to want to get a gazillion tests done since he hasn't seen me since September of last year. It is also time for me to get a new glucometer too. My roomie got a One Touch Ultra 2 that I like so I am going to see if I can get one too. It looks like it can do all these extra things that mine can't, like keep track of readings and compare them. Just call me a geek, I like things like that. I see Wini is too with the pic changes. I don't know how to do those things, I wish I could make my own gif images, any ideas Wini?

Hopefully I will be able to check back in later. Have a Happy Happy Sunday Everyone... ;)

Afternoon ladies,

Yes, Wendy, only one vibrator (hee).  For a few more weeks anyway.  Then I might wander down to the Pleasureland Museum.  There's one right down the street from me.  I don't really like going in there too much because of all the very strange old men that go in.  Oh, trust, they're beyond creepy.

Mum, I'm glad you got to go out to eat.  What day will you be going to the zoo?

Queen, I don't care, Kevin just sounds very strange.  Just remember the advice you gave Wish about the pan of hot (was it) grits and calling the authorities.  Good luck at your doc's tomorrow.  Let us know how it goes.

Christy, you've got people praying for you, eh?  What did you do (kidding).  Enjoy your days off.  You deserve a break.

Nothing (I mean nothing) going on here.  My friend has gone home.  No more (natural occuring) orgasms for awhile. That's alright, I just feel lucky to get any.  I should study, but there's always tomorrow.  I just hate studying.  Only 3 more weeks and I'm off for the summer.  I might volunteer somewhere.  There's a few places here for pregnant teens that I might check out.  They have runaway shelters, but they're very much on the down-low, so I don't know if I would even be able to find out where they are.   Anyway ladies, have a great rest of the day.  If I don't check back in later (I'm exhausted) I'll be back tomorrow.

Betty, my darling, we'll be going to the zoo on Tuesday.  I'll be taking double doses of allergy meds that day.

Not a darned thing going on over here.  Hubby is watching the LSU women's basketball final 4 game.  The winner goes to the championship.  LSU is where we went to college - and met - AWWWWW!  Actually, we didnt' meet AT LSU, we met at a hotel just outside of LSU.  We went to an oriental halloween party - and neither of us is oriental. :P  We went with our perspective room mates.  Hubby's were from Viet Nam and my roomie was from Korea.  We met, fell in love, got mugged on our first date, and got married.  The rest, as they say, is history! ;D

Have a great evening!  Love to you all!

well, more like at the hotel ballroom.  There were over 250 people there.  Just goes to prove...you never know what can happen when you get dragged to a party where 248 people all speak the same language - and the 2 who don't wind up getting married. ;D

OK, i'll clarify.  Everyone seemed to understand what everyone else was saying except for me and Hubby.  Yep, we got mugged later that same night.  We went for coffee and a walk on the levy.  While on the levy, we were mugged, then chased.  We wound up going the wrong way down a one-way street.  But, we survived.  He stood me up on the next 3 or 4 dates.

By the time we finally got together, i forgot what he looked like.  I figured the guy who followed me to the door must be him.  (I lived in a girls' dorm, so he had to call up to my room and let me know he was there).  At dinner, the waitress dropped a tray of food on our table.  At the movie,"Doc Hollywood", he lost a contact.  After the movie, I'm crawling around on the theartre floor, in white pants, searching for his contact.  Then, we went for coffee (chocolate milk for me) and beignets.  We were sitting there talking, when police walked in.  OK, no biggie - police in a doniut shop.  Until, the people sitting at the table behind us got up and started running.  Then, we were stormed by a ton of cops - it was a raid. So, we ordered more beignets and enjoyed the show.

5 months later we were engaged.  15mths after that, we got married.  It'll be 15yrs in June.  Go figure ;D

hello ladies,

I am back and took me ages to catch up on the thread. welcome Veritee. Nice to see someone from around my side of the pond, more or less. and Camms nice to see u posting.

Tendai, I have been reading the news, my heart is with you. you know where to find me.

Cristy I feel for you what you're going thru with your son. I hope you and your ex can support each other thru this at least.

looks like everyone else doing pretty OK what with the footrubs, natural orgasams, account acing, car cruising and more.

Wishful it looks like you're over that ****'s behavior and I can only admire how you sailed thru. yeah the quality of life is often the quality of our thoughts and you really put that to practice. oh yeah thx for checking up on Sunseeker, miss her here.

anyone else I may have skipped, HI THERE

I have a lot of catching up to do. Italy was great, I mean the food... the wather... the art... the people... the landscape... it was like a sweet little dream. and maybe b/c of that, I wasn't able to bring HIV into it and discolose to my friend, so i sneaked around with my meds and hated myself for it a little bit. The food was incredible, and strangely I don't think I gained any weight, I guess when the food is that awsome you savor it and don't eat as much. actually this belongs in the other thread.

catch you later, have a great day

Tendai,
I am watching your election theatre every day. It is outrageous how Mugabe behaves, he still doesn't want to give off his power.
I keep my fingers's cross for you and your country to get things changed over there.

Another question: I have heard that South Africa is the sole country that does virus load checks and that you can't get your VL checked in other African countries. Is that right? How do you get to know when it is time to start your medication?

GG: I think Mugabe wants to die in power coz of the human rights abuses and the killings he did. He knows people will be after his ass as soon as he's no longer president sio he wont go. and he has these die-hard people in his party who benefit from his rule and also have various crimes they committed so if theres a change of government their asses will be in shit too. amazing how evil and selfish people can be isnt it.  I'm starting to think it'll only take outright war to remove him. and i swear to God if there is one i'm joining the opposition's army. probly get myself killed but whats the difference, with living like this where u really cant make a plan for your future. and its so frustrating i could spit on Thabo Mbeki and the other stupid SADC leaders who're so afraid of this old man, what the fuck is his hold over them? if they could stand up and demand that election results be announced so we can move on and see if we're stuck with the old fart till he dies or if at last we can have a change and things get better for everyone. everyone except the dumbsh*t war vets and ZANU bigshots/Mugabe's wives who would be nothing if Mugabe was gone. i hope they realise that noone is immortal. sooner or later that evil man is going to die whether he likes it or not and lets see what they gonna do.  simba makoni might be starting his own party soon so yeah ZANU's days of doing whatever they like with us are numbered. its so frustrating just sitting and waiting and being able to do nothing about it. i can understand suicide bombers now.  they die for their beliefs and all. wish i could wrap myself in a bomb and go and give Mugabe a great big hug. i hope the court will decide to make the ZEC announce the results. How can ZANU demand a recount when the results havent even been announced yet? hopefully by end of day today we will know something. Its so infuriating! >:(

About the viral loads i dont know about other countries but in Zimbabwe we send to South Africa and pay in rands if we want viral loads done.  we go by CD4 counts alone to start treatment. if we go below 200 they start u on ARVs. Your pocket decides where u going to get them. U can either go to the gvt hospital and join a three month waiting list or buy from pharmarcies or if u know some people in NGOs who supply ARVs for free or very cheap.

Mum - never a dull moment with you guys is there? 15 years married and all. wow. hope your allergies clear up soon.

Christy - theres a lady who works next door to us. shes all flashy and smart etc married to a pilot and is always coming in our office changing forex etc. she scolded me quite severely on how i should not have cut my hair, that as the secretary i represent the image or whatever of the company and how i should always look my best and cutting hair is the absolutely last resort that shows that u got no more options. on and on she went. she was so "disappointed" like i had let secretaries all over the world down or something ::)

Drag - Hie, glad u had a nice time in Italy!

Morning ladies:

Mum, you tell the most amusing stories.   What an exciting first date!  When I met my first husband, he came staggering out of his house with an unlit cigarette and said 'miss, do you have a light?'  He was smashed (drunk).  I was walking home from downtown after getting high and really had no idea he was drunk (I was 16, he was 21).  Anyway, he tried to get in my pants, I didn't let him etc. etc.  Nothing exciting like people getting busted or anything happened though.  We never really went out on a date.  Our dates consisted of getting smashed and having lots of sex.  Of course, I broke up with him later, before I started stripping (which was when I was 17).  He heard through the grapevine that I was stripping.  Of course, he couldn't have that.  Oh well.  We all have stories we learn from.  Yours are just so interesting!

Drag, welcome back.  I thought you had mentioned that you were going to be gone.  I'd love to see Italy.  No good stories?

Tendai, I can only wish and hope the best for you.  I'm so disgusted at Mugabe.  I don't understand how we can run over to Iraq and everywhere else and try to help people in other countries, but it seems like we really shy away from anything in Africa.  I wonder if our government is being paid off somehow by the people in power over there.  I can't imagine what life is like for you.  You're such a strong woman.  Please, please let us know what happens.

Well ladies, I put a nicotine patch on last night, and no cigarettes since then.  Of course, it's early right now, but I don't even want to smoke.  I'm trying to get myself all psyched up about it.  I keep telling myself how much better I'll feel etc.  I do plan on exercising this morning.  I'm really going to try not to gain a bunch of weight during this initial not smoking phase.  I gained enough weight the last time I quit.   Since my mum died from lung cancer (from 2nd hand smoke) and my dad died from emphysema, I figure my chances are about slim and nil that I'll live any type of healthy life if I continue to smoke.  I'm also going to work on getting the smell out of my apartment/car today.  I couldn't stand the smell, even when I was smoking.  Now it's really going to be irritating.  And anyone who smokes is going to have to smoke outside.

Other than that, there's homework to do, and a few groceries to get.  I'll be back later.  Have a safe one ladies (especially you mum).

Good morning ladies. It is going to be a very productive day, once I get up off my ass. Robert is out of school for a teacher work day so we will be going to walmart in a couple of hours

Christy, you've got people praying for you, eh?  What did you do (kidding).  Enjoy your days off.  You deserve a break.

Betty, that was part of what floored me . I was making her and her husband some iced tea and she looked at me and just asked if she could pray for me.  I told her Thank You, I need all the help I can get and asked her to pray for my oldest son..                           Sorry your guest went home. The thing about volunteering sounds good. I think you are very easy to talk to so that would be perfect. Good luck with the patch.                            MM, wow, that's a great first date story. I noticed you didn't run from the cops. I like them except when I am doing something wrong.   Have a great time at the Zoo on Tuesday. I want to take Robert to the Zoo or the natural Science center soon.                           Tendai, that lady is a snotty judgemental bitch. How your hair is cut has no bearing on how well you preform at your job. I imagine you are quite a good secretary.             Every time I read about the system or government where you live, it makes me very grateful to live in the relative luxury the we do here.   Hope everything works out well.                                                         Dragonette, I hope Italy was loads of fun. My grandmother was Italian and I have always wanted to go to Italy.                     I am in contact with my oldest son's father but keep it to talk of the child only. I do appreciate him keeping us informed so I try really hard to be nice..            Queen, good luck with the doctor today. I hope you can get that meter you are wanting. I went last night and got some tasty green. I had to upgrade to the next level cause regular weed  just doesn't get me high anymore.        Glad you are not worried about Kevin. Call your friend if he shows up again.  Good luck with your hair.                    Win, your hair is very pretty. I had white blond hair when I was little. And it has darkened to it's current color. My eyebrows are black and so is the rest of my hair.   My dad's hair is like yours, I think . His beard comes in red and his hair is blond.        Well ladies, hope everyone has a great day.  Walmart, here we come, in about a hour...     Later. Cristy

Tendai, I hope that "lady" trips and falls into a sewage with her fancy do.

Don't really have stories from Italy except it was beautiful. I missed my BF. There was no sex, drugs or rock'n'roll or drama of any sort. Except when I came back I met on the plane this pretty young African girl who was escorted to the flight by two rough looking Italian women and was picked up at Amsterdam airport but this middle aged Dutch man. She looked really inoccent (I'm saying that even though she might be a prostitute, she had such an inoccent smile and behavior) and he was such a cold faced wanker. That kinda made me sad. Her & I waved & smiled at each other and he was just kind of staring me down with his fish eyes.

Otherwise, Italy was just very chilled and pretty like it is in the movies.

Cristy, I didnt know weed could be upgraded. I just remebered when I smoked, there was the normal weed and the skunk (charas) which was way stronger, but then it was reputed that some weed was sprayed or dipped in other stuff. That's why I always tried to go for homegrown. But it was opposite for me, instead of developing a tolerance for it, the more I smoked the more easily I was high until I couldnt really stand it...

Chrisy, it's good to have you back.  I'm hoping this trip is better than the last one.  It was such a disaster, I'm not sure I can adequately describe it.  We didn't run from the cops, because they weren't after us.  They were after the people sitting behind us.  The boogers ran passed us and nearly made me spill my chocolate milk.  Now THAT would've caused a problem..lol.  It gave us something to talk about on our second date.

And don't get me started about the wedding and honeymoon.  We nearly set the church on fire, got a boot put on the car, was attacked by monkies, chased by alligators, had an AK-47 pointed at us, wound up in 3rd world country traffic court, and got busted for trying to bribe an official. OH, then there was the odd peeping Pedro, the crazy old stalker, and the old lady with no teeth. Somewhere I remember vodka-laced ketchup at a hotel restaurant and a parrot that would steal the food off my plate.  And the adventures haven't stopped yet ;D

Today is one beautifuliciousical day.  We're gonna finish planting our seeds in peet pots.  We have 100 planted already and we're gonna plant at least another 100 today.  Not quite sure where we're gonna find enough containers to put them all in, but I'll figure something out.  I also need to weed around my tulips.  Poor things have been trying to grow for a month and we finally have some flower buds coming up.  This week is supposed to stay in the upper 60's to 71, but drop back into the 50's by Saturday.  I guess utopia can't last forever.

#6 will be going to the doctor on Thurs to have her hearing rechecked. That's Hubby's birthday, but he said to go ahead and keep it since we couldn't get it any earlier and the next avaliable was in June.  She'll have her vision retested in May.  Poor wee little thing.

Nothing else going on today.  Dance class later tonight.  Betty, hun, congrats on quitting smoking.  It's not an easy thing to do.  Once again, I admire you. :-*  Have the best of days today and be well!

Hi everyone!
Hope everybody had a good weekend!  I went and got some Benedryl and it helped to clear up whatever was going on in my head but now I have my period.  Even though I felt like crap this weekend, I was in the mood for spring cleaning and cleaned out the trip  lets room and 1/2 of my bedroom on Saturday. The sun was shining and it was relatively warm here so the kids could play outdoors.  Yesterday it was back to being cold and miserable so I took them to the local flea market and then came home and started on the other half on my room, which meant I stood around in my bra and undies trying everything on to see what I should keep and what I should donate.
Drag- Italy sounds beautiful. I am glad you enjoyed your trip!

Keeping- How are all the wedding plans going? Tick, tock, tick, tock!   ;D  Hope your power point went well!  Feeling any better?

Mum- I actually have some green stuff coming up here finally!  I think it might be my hostas.  I would love to be able to get about 20 aborvitae and plant them around my fence in the backuyard so when they get bigger we can feel like we are in our own little eutopia, maybe when I get my taxes back?  My mother sends me a gardening magazine and one of the articles was about starting seedlings and putting them in a sled so you can pull them out in the sun during the day and pull them inside at night, don't know if that would work for you.  You would have to poke some drainage holes in the sled.  You and your husband had a very interesting beginning, those will be fun stories to pass on from generation to generation.  Have your heard anything about your husbands brothers kids down in New Orleans?

Betty-  Good Luck on the patch.  Have you tried Febreeze to get rid of the cig smell?

Tendai- Nice to hear from you.  That is crazy your gov't is leaving you hanging like that, I can't stand that crap.  Politics to me are all very frustrating.

Queen- Come out the box on Kevin's ass, go up one side and down the other and don't let him get a word out and  maybe he will leave you alone.  Freakin wierdo!

cjc- I hope the lines are better at your Walmart than they are here, I spend more time in line than I do getting the shit I need.  Some people can sense when you are stressed or going through some shit, it is almost like they have a sixth sense, that was nice of her to say that though.

Wish- I hope you had a nice un-eventful weekend without any shit from your babies daddy.

Win- As always I love your pics.  How's the baby doing?

Hope everyone is well.
Take care,
Snow

Afternoon ladies:

Well, I haven't had a cigarette today, so far.  I bought some licorice to keep in my mouth for the oral thing.

Cristy, I don't suppose prayer hurts anyone.

Drag, that story about the young African girl just reminds me of like a mail-order bride or something.  It's kind of creepy.

Mum, wow.  You and your hubby really have had quite the life.  Sometime you're going to have to tell us a few stories.  I can't plant anything.  I don't know how and I would kill whatever I planted.  But good luck with that.

Snow, periods just suck.  I hate them.  I noticed you mentioned in the food thread about being hungrier around your period.  Yes, I'm like that as well.  I'm hoping that once the Depo kicks in, I won't have anymore.  How'd the sorting of your clothes go?  When I cleaned out my clothes, I gave 5 huge bags of clothes to Goodwill.

Today is a beautiful day.  It's 60 and sunny.  Tomorrow it's supposed to rain, but still be warm.  I don't think we're supposed to dip below like 54 this week (except at night).  I hope everyone enjoys the weather.  Later ladies-

Hi GFs~

I didn't go to work today, I was burned out, even after the weekend, so I said "screw it."  I am far enough ahead with the important things that I could afford the day off.

I spent more time looking for docs online this weekend and today.  My heart nearly sank at first.  The first new doc I tried calling kept having his voice mail pick up all last week at the office, no matter what time of day you called.  I finally gave up on him.

Found a second doc today and called, turns out he was the Chair for the Board of Directors at a local hospital, with regards to HIV research.  Sounded very promising.  I called this afternoon and he retired last December.  I started crying after I hung up.  How hard is it to find an ID doc in the DC suburbs?  Surely I'm not the ONLY one with this virus, lol?

I saw a third doc listed and thought, "Shit he looks like he's in the opposite direction from home, lots of traffic and congestion...."  I googled his location and he's closer than I thought!  About 15 minutes from work (7 miles) and yes, they are taking new patients.  My appt is already set for next week!   ;D  Oh, and get this.  The location and the office is right across the street from the cemetery where my grandparents are buried.  I haven't been there since Feb 2005 when Grandma died.  I haven't been down this way for anything, but now that I am working in the town where I grew up (closer to DC) everything is flooding back.

Its a great cozy feeling!  I will go "talk" to my grandparents at the cemetery next week before my appt.  :)

I still have my 3-month follow-up with my bitch doc set for next Thursday, but I will call and cancel after I meet the new doc.  You know my current bitch doc only has office hours from 7-8am?  Yeah, that is whacked.

I had a great weekend with Iceman after all was said and done.  I was feeling a little left out, needing some attention Friday when I got there, but he was "in the zone" from work.  Saturday morning he was gone before I even woke up, but then was back at 130pm.  We took Cheech for a walk down by the train tracks together, it was just what we needed.  He mentioned how he liked his new house and that it was enough space for him, for his kids when he has them, and also for me.  I thought that was really sweet of him to say, and I brought it up again Sunday.  I think people need to realize when they say or do little things that make a difference, and he is such a kind man.

BT, good job on the no smoking.  Now I don't want to have to hear about you airing out your apartment again 3 months from now.  I know you can stick with this!

Queen, you can pretty much look up any meter that you like and get one for free.  The meter companies are all fighting to have us as customers cause they make money off of us (or insurance) paying for those over-priced test strips.  www.freestylelite.com has been advertising all over TV lately, and they use the same strips that my pump/meter combo used.  It only takes 5 seconds to get your reading, that's what I like about it, no 45-second countdown.  I may check it out and get one.  My current one graphs the sugars and has a carb counter in it, its pretty detailed, but it keeps asking me "Do you want to activate a pod (pump) now?" every time I turn it on, lol!  Um, NO, that would cost me $2000 a year WITH insurance.  LOL

Cristy, its amazing sometimes when people can just look at you and know you need a little boost.  I went to a women's church retreat about 11 years ago, shortly after my husband died.  All of the women lined up, and one by one the (female) Pastor prayed silently for us and hugged us.  She finished hugging me and was looking at me at arm's length, with her hands on my shoulders and she blessed me again.  She KNEW I was dealing with some heavy shit, with being a young widow and dealing with my health.  I have always thought that was fascinating, how they could just TELL.

I could write on and on, but I need to shower and look at my budget for April.  Also, nice to see you Drag, glad your trip was a good one!

Oh and Mum, you sound like a new woman in your posts, you MUST be feeling some relief!  Yippee!!!!!

Win, I am gonna check out those picture sites, thanks for posting them!

To all of my GFs here, bless you and have a safe evening.

Hello Ladies,
sorry i haven't been around, But I spranged my ankle and knee this weekend and I have a brace and cruthches! i went to New jersey for a family dinner with my girlfriend after arriving in va. i was cooking a homemade peach cobbler for dessert and i went and triped on the stairs . I went to the docotr and they say I have a bad sprain. I have a leg wrap from my thigh to my ankle , then a plastic splint around my ankle. I was kinda depressed but today i went back and they said nothing was broken and that I should be ok in a week and if not i go to an orthopedic doc, but the swelling is slowly going down and i am not in much pain as i was. just taking it easy and keeping my foot elevated.
Hope all is well. luv yall

Take it easy!  :)

Evening ladies:

TreDai, good to see you stopping in.  Visit us more frequently.

Wish, Adipex aye?  I've heard of those.  Yes, they certainly will 'help' you get things done (lol).

Cin, I'm glad you found a new doctor close to your home.  That sounds just like something you need with everything healthwise you've had to deal with lately.  Sounds like you had a really nice, relaxing weekend with Ice.  Any pictures of him?

Wendy, that baby is sooooo adorable.

Netta, you poor thing.  Sprains can hurt worse than breaks sometimes.  Stay off of it as much as possible and good luck.

Nothing to report.  I'm just checking in.  Still no cigarettes.  I threw them all out last night.  Here's hoping I can do it this time.  Everyone have a good sleep.

Betty- Suprisingly I only had 2 bags full but I am not done yet.  I REALLY need to my SO's stuff, we have a 5 or 6 ft hanger thingy on wheels, I might have a foot of stuff on it, the rest is all his, he has about 25 jackets just on that, he probably has another 20 around the house.  Don't even get me started on all his shoes and jeans.  Last summer he gave away 2 or 3 huge totes of clothes and he needs to give away about 4 more.

Netta- Sorry to hear about your fall, try to take it easy, I am glad the pain is not as bad as it was.

Win-  That is such a cute pic!

Hi- Tredai...How did things work out with your hair?

Have a good night!  Snow

Ok, here goes and hoping I can remember everything.

Snow: this is only the 2nd garden we've planted since we moved here 7yrs ago.  The first one we planted, we ended up feeding the wildlife.  Didn't realize that Bambi and his band of theives would be brave enough to just waltz up to the house and eat everything.  We shall see what happens.  We have a tree down at the bottom of our hill where I'd like to put a rock garden.  I have no idea how to do it, though.

Cin: I am feeling better, thank you.  I'm still having "episodes" but it's not lasting all day and night.  I woke up this morning and didn't have to take meds until about noon.  Usually, I've had 3 doses by then.  I'm going to med-up tomorrow - not sure how my allergies will react to the animals (the ones that live in the zoo, not the ones we're bringing).

Betty: My suggestion is to plant bulbs.  They come back every year without you having to replant anything.  There are bulbs that bloom in the spring and others that come out in the fall.  You can plant them in the same planter right next to each other.  Just be sure to keep them watered and when they are dying, let the leaves completly dry and fall off.  That's how the bulbs get their "food" to last them through the winter.  Best time to buy bulbs is in the fall when places (Wal-mart) are getting rid of their garden centers for winter.  Who cares if you're buying tulips or hastas that are totally dead. They are annuals and all you really want are the bulbs.  I bought tulips that the cashier thought I was NUTS for buying - they were all withered and dying - for 10 cents / ea. instead of close to $4.  I planted 20 of them and they all grew last year and are back this year.  Just something to think about.

Winn: She is so beautiful!  I just can't believe how big she has gotten.

Netta: What a bad bit of luck!  I hope you heal really quickly.

We went to Good Will today and loaded up on spring / summer dresses for the girls and short sleeved shirts for the boys.  Then, at dance class, someone gave us 2 garbage bags of clothes.  The only one who may need anything is #1.  The friend who used to pass clothes to us for him moved away.  The weather isn't stable enough for us to change seasons, but it is time to start taking out some short sleeves shirts.  I hate changing seasons. It takes at least a month for me to go through all the closets, dressers, containers, get everything sorted, what we're keeping, sending to Good Will or passing along to someone else, rinse it all, dry it all, and get it put away.  Would it be so terrible to wear shorts to play in the snow?  I mean, I'd put a coat on them.

Tend: I'm glad you checked in today. I look forward to getting to know you better.

Ok, I think i got everyone in.  If I missed anyone, I'm sorry and send you lots of extra lovin's.  Have a great tonight and a wonderful tomorrow!

It seems like everyone had a pretty full day. The weather was nice here except it was a little bit windy. I finally finished my hair but I really don't like the way it turned out. I will still keep it this way since it took me so long to do it, maybe next time it will turn out better.

Cindy, Glad you found an ID doc. It was the same way for me when I first started looking for one but now my ASO has a clinic that comes every month so I don't have to worry about that. But I was seeing my ID in his private practice before he hooked up with the clinic. I get to my primary doctor's appointment after getting a ride from a friend, to find out that they cancelled my appointment. The nurse said they left me a message but it was on my landline, I forgot to give them my new cell number. But this is the second time that the doctor has cancelled on me and I am feeling some type of way. The first time he was sick but the nurse said he called off today, WTF? So, I had to wait for my ride to get to his house in order to call him back, he is one of the few people who doesn't have a cell phone. While waiting for him to get back, I updated things with the nurse and called my insurance company to see if they would cover he glucometer I wanted.(One Touch Ultra 2) Which I found they did, they cover anything by One Touch. I told the nurse so she is going to call it in at the pharmacy but I'll call her to make sure. I love a new gadget, guess it's the geek in me.

After getting home, I started cleaning the house. The roomie made some margaritas and I rolled some green from a plant here. I noticed Christy brought up weed and Dragonette commented on liking homegrown. Here in the hood, homegrown sucks and usually gives me a headache. We have three types of weed around here..homegrown..midgrade....and hydro...Hydro being the best and costs more. Since I am on a budget, I usually stick with midgrade. After cleaning me and the roomie downed the margaritas and by 8pm, I was in the bed, calling myself taking a nap and slept til almost 2 am. So, I missed taking my pills and my sleep is going to be off. Not concerned about missing the pills, I have to get labs done the end of this month anyway, my ID doc appointment is in May. It'll be interesting to see how that goes since being sick and all.

I figured since I was up, I smoked a doobie and figured I would check in and see how my girls are. Damn, Netta, I hope that leg gets better soon. I have never broken a bone in my body and the only surgery I have had was 3 c-sections. I guess I am blessed. Not to say I don't fall but I guess I am kind of like a cat, I tend to land not on my feet but knees. So, Cindy played hookey from work...lol...You deserve it. Betty, Good luck with stopping smoking. I am going to try to do something about quitting soon but not sure what to try with the horror stories I've heard about Chantix but has heard good things too, kind a confused on it all but I know I want to quit smoking cigs, not the green. ;D

Other than that, nothing going on for me today. It is suppose to be nice so I will probably just open the windows and air the house out some more. I'll check in later today.

Morning ladies,

Betty good luck with the quitting. I know you can do it. Every day you go without is pure gain. It takes a long while to lose the cravings, but you will lose them, I know cos I was such a heavy smoker when I was a teen/young adult, I was still addicted later and smoked about a pack a day normally but back in those days I was a total chainsmoker for years.

Wini great pic and that reminds me that I saw Viv's pic and you look great! and also Cindy's pic with Cheech.

Gorgeous day today and shame to stay indoors. I havent posted on the food thread but I will sometime soon, I just havent had time. sounds like an excuse.

Cindy i think its so cool Ice wants you to move in. are you considering?

I had an insecuirity attack last night, I get them once in a while esp when I hear the usual stories of guys who play with numerous girls, or cant commit, etc, from my friends, and then I get into this mode where I dread that my own relationship is temporary or just an illusion. My BF doesnt do so well with having to reassure me. but then I had some relevelation, kind of realized the obvious, that its all in my head, that I dont have to go there...

Netta too bad about the ankle, that happened to me 2-3 times, better than a fracture though cos you can shower and it should heal soon, hope so!

Snow my BF is also a "hoarder" and its really hard to get him to part with his stuff. Our apartment is pretty cramped, but soon he'll have to bring in 6-7 boxes of files and papers from work. I have no idea where it will go.

Queen, now I am craving a margarita, and it's 12.00 and am at work. You have strange sleep patterns, I'd be like a zombie if I tried that, though I always go to bed later than I should and get up too late as a result, but it's all in one go.

TreDai how did the hair turn out?

Ciao bellas, for now

PS we havent heard from Paulette in a while, hope she's OK...

Morning ladies:

Mum, I went to Goodwill yesterday also.  I went to Salvation Army too.  There's one good Salvation Army store here.  They have clothes cheaper than Goodwill.  There are actually a few Salvation Army stores, but the other ones smell musty.  Goodwill is getting expensive on their clothes.  Jeans here are now $7.00!  About the planting of the bulbs....well.......I'm just not good at that sort of thing.  I know, I know, it's probably very easy.  But, I would probably forget to water them or something.  Maybe I'll think about it later this year.

Queen, I can't use the Chantix.  I took it with a meal, but everything (even water) that I put in my mouth was nauseating.  Not to the point where I'd throw up, but to the point where I wouldn't want to eat or drink anything.  So, I'm on the patches.  My Medicare Part D plan doesn't cover the patches anymore, but they don't cost me anymore than cigarettes do.  A little less, in fact.

Drag, I suppose it can throw you off a bit hearing about men who can't commit or stay with just one person.  But, of course, that's not every man.  I figure if a man doesn't really want to be with a woman, then he won't be, albeit eventually sometimes.

I read all my homework yesterday for tonight's class.  I still have a research paper to do.  I think I'm going to do it about hate groups and LGBT people, focusing on Matthew Shepard.  I'll probably go the library this weekend, and find some information there.  The computer is a wealth of information, but I hate using printer ink for information for a paper.  Cartridges are too damn expensive.

Still no cigarette.  I really didn't have any bad cravings yesterday until I sat down at the computer last night.  I smoked constantly while on the computer before.  I did buy some licorice and that helps somewhat.  I'm also going to exercise again this morning.  Since I've gotten older, I'm more concerned about things I never gave a shit about when younger, even 5 years ago.   Cholesterol, sugar control, weight in certain places, heart, lungs etc. etc. etc.

Alright, all you ladies have a good morning, and behave yourselves.

Morning Ladies-
I have one munchkin home with me this morning, she was up all night coughing and I was up allnight with her so now I am kinda tired.  I have to go to my olders sons school at 1 to help with the book fair.  I went to a CoDA meeting last night and it was pretty good, it seems to be a nice group of people.  AAhhhh...she just came up to me and said she "missed her bruders"

Betty-  Goodwill is getting crazy around here too. I brought my stuff to this place we have called the Survival Center, in one section they have mens and womens stuff and everything is 2 bucks and the other section they have mens, womens and kids and you pay 3 bucks to fill up a bag but you can only go once a month.  Your doing awesome at the non-smoking!  Do you like popsicles?  maybe they would help with your oral fixation and you could make them with something that is good for you.  Good Luck on your paper,  I hate to read stuff like that, I have no tolerance for that kind of shit at all, it makes me so mad.

Drag-  Don't even get me started on hoarding ;D we have a 24 ft trailer that he made into a shed full of shit AND the garage is chucker block full too. The whole point of having the garage was for me to be able to drive in with the kids and they get out w/o freezing thier asses off and go in the house and it hasn't happened yet. He has more stuff than me and the 4 kids combined.  How are things back at work, have your recovered from your vacation?  I was always more tired after a vacation than before I went on one and I never went anywhere.  I am glad you had that revelation, you have to try not to worry about that stuff anyway, it just makes it worse sometimes.

Cin- Your doc is only open for an hour?  I thought my new one was bad because they are closed all day Monday and Friday.  That is nice you were able to find a new doc near your grandparents.  So what happened with the consultant?

Queen- What didn't you like about your hair?  Yummy....margaheritas!!My friend bought some tequila the other day that is raspberry flavored, she said you can't even taste the tequila in it.  We tried finding it near my house and all we could find was pineapple and citrus and it is strong.

Wish- Hope you got some rest!

Everyone have a good day!

I did some sew in for my hair but it just doesn't look right. I don't feel like taking it down, I had done that once already. I guess I'll wear something on my head for awhile.... :(  Ok, I really missed something...Ice asked Cindy to move in with him? That is major but I can see Cindy doing that. She loves Ice so much and all. Next thing you know they are going to be married. No, I am not tripping, you guys wait and see.

I still have not heard any news on my car which is frustrating me. I turned in paper work to my case worker for a clothing allowance and it is still not there yet. This is after I called her yesterday and told her I dropped it off. I am trying not to get frustrated. I am still waiting on Section 8, I swear they are slow. I was discussing with my landlord since he is in the program and knows how it works. I may have lucked up on a house which he is trying to buy. He told me where it was and I went and looked at it yesterday, the outside. It is very nice and in a nice neighborhood. No more hood for me, hopefully I will be out of this biatch and will be moving on up. I just hate the waiting game, it is driving me nuts. Did I mention, I really want this house...It has a fenced back yard and a driveway..If he gets it, he told me it's mine....MMMMM, BBQ's in the back and I'm far enough out that you have to have a car to visit but close enough to stores I need to get to.

I forgot to write before, Wishful, I know it feels awkward writing something and being ignored, I get it sometimes too, but there is just so much going down with this thread and so many people. personally I try to write everyone but sometimes you end up missing on most of the content like if someone brings up more than 1 thing. which is why I logged in again actually, to tell you that I'm also dreaming of white pants this summer.

Queen good luck with the new place.

Hi everybody  ;D

The baby is sleeping so I decided to stick my head in and say hello to you all.  I think I've been having some post-baby blues because I've been kind of down lately.  I love coming on line and reading whats going on with everyone because it is very lonely not having anyone to talk to about the things I'm going thru.  Giving the baby his meds, how my meds make me feel and getting ready for my lil' man to get his second test are all heavy on my mind.  My partner and I don't discuss my status that often and when I try and tell him how I'm feeling he doesn't understand.  I may be blowing things up a bit but maybe I'm not.  We've been together more than 6 years now and sometimes I think him being negative is more of an obstacle to me than to him.  I feel like he thinks if we don't talk about it then it really doesn't exist sometimes.  I recently disclosed to my oldest daughter because she is getting ready to go to college and I didn't want her to leave without knowing just in case on the off chance something happened to me.  My man had a fit and that is probably an understatement.  He said my telling her made him luck like a fool for being with me all these years while knowing my status.  I was hurt and taken back by that and I guess it made me look at our relationship without the rose colored glasses I may have been wearing for a long time.  I know I have a tendency to push aside things that aggravate me because all relationships require compromise but now I'm thinking if that is how he feels maybe its no wonder I feel like I'm in a box all the time while being with him.  Then I start thinking to myself that life is so short and I think being pos really lets you appreciate that.  I hate the idea that he is ashamed of me because being pos is definitely apart of me (a 14 year part of me).  When we moved to California for his job we ended up in a small town so I had to drive over and hour to get closer to LA to see a ID specialist that dealt with pregnancies but now that I'm not pregnant there is a doctor around the corner from us that I can go see.  He wants me to keep driving to the doctor I was seeing while I was pregnant because he is concerned that someone he knows from work or a coworkers spouse might see me and connect the 2 of us.  I'm pissed!!!  I'm pissed all the time now and now I'm really ready to say screw it all and just take my kids and leave but then I think about the kids and for my twins he's the only man they have ever had in their lives and now we have Jordan.  I don't know but I just look at him and I feel cheated because he is definitely not the man I thought he was.  On top of all that I can't have sex with him because he disgusts me and while I was pregnant he said I was fat and unattractive so needless to say it has been along time.  I know I probably rambled a little but  I just needed to get some things out.

Netta-I'm sorry to hear about your accident

Win-I'm in love with the baby pic

Cin-Congrats on you and Ice (it is a good thing right?)

Queen-To bad your hair didn't work out

Wish-How much weight are you trying to loose?

Snow- I hope your lil' one is feeling better

I know I left alot of people out but Jordan is screaming to be fed so I have to go but hopefully I'll get some time to get back online later :)

Good afternoon ladies:

First of all, Blessed, dump that no good mother-fucker!  He is not going to change, so don't count on it.  (I'm speaking from experience here, trust me).  You can't stay with someone 'because of the kids.'  The kids will know when they're a little older what's up, and they might just resent the way he treats their mother (you).  I get so highly annoyed by men that treat women like dogs.  Leaving will just get harder as time goes on.  Do not feel obligated to stay with him for any reason.  You are much better than what he's treating you like.  You deserve better.  Talk to your ASO, a counselor, someone, and find a way to get the hell away from the no good son-of-a-bitch.

Wish, no I haven't tried that Nicorette.  I'm using a nicotine patch.  That helps a lot.  I also keep plenty of licorice on hand.  I have one year to go in school and I'll be done (BS in Psych).  I'm going to try to work somewhere, part-time.  I don't want to make over the amount for disability.  You should think about going back.  Education doesn't hurt anyone.  I loved those pictures of your kids!  Adorable.

Snow, I hope your little one's feeling better soon.  Will she have to see a doctor?  I'm glad you like Coda.  Like I said, they used to have it here, but then everyone got into relationships with the others who were going (hee).  I hope it works for you.  I'm all for meetings, you know that.  At least for people who need them.

OK, Blessed, I know it's easy for me to tell you to dump that asshole; easier than it actually is for you to leave.  But there is always a way.  There is help.  Please, please, don't put yourself (and your kids) through unnecessary abuse, be it verbal or physical.

Queen, what the hell are you doing up at 10 something in the morning?  *gasp*  I don't think Cindy actually said she was going to move in with Ice.  But, it wouldn't surprise me.  And if she announced she was going to marry him, it wouldn't surprise me either.  I hope you get your hair straightened the way you like it.  And good luck on getting that house.  That would probably be a real lift to your spirits.

Still not ciggies.  I went to Goodwill again, another one closer to me.  I refuse to pay $7.00 though for a pair of jeans.  I'll wait until their 1/2 off day.  I hope with my exercising (and semi-dieting) I'll be able to shed a few lbs.  About wearing the 'white,' well, heh, I pretty much wear what I want.  Fuck people if they don't like it.  That's just me though.  I rarely worry about what other people think.  You ladies all have a good afternoon.  I'll check in later, probably when I get home from school tonight.

Evening Ladies---

I am feeling bummed even though I am trying not to. I got news back on the car, in order for it to pass inspection it is going to need rotors, brake pads, and 4 new tires. I should be getting the clothing allowance from my case worker but I am now going to have to use that to pay for the rotors, brake pads, and the charge for him putting the damn car on the machine. I have been calling around for tires and I can't find any cheap ones. Even for used the cheapest is 300 bucks. I am almost in tears. I have tried to figure if I could wait it out and get it done next check day but not possible with me trying to move and the other bills. I just feel like fucking screaming.

Wishful, as far as section 8 goes, I am waiting for them to get back with me on when I can pick up my voucher which when I saw the lady she said 2 months. That would be about sometime in May I am hoping. I am also hoping that my landlord has closed on the house I am suppose to get. If not then I will have to look for another place though I was trying to keep my landlord because we communicate well and he does fix things when I call.

Betty, I was up early because I went to bed around 8 last night after having a few margaritas. I did get a nap in though. Oh, so I misunderstood about Cindy moving in with Ice. It figures, I have so much on my mind lately. I guess that is why I really haven't been commenting much unless asked something because I just can't think straight about now. This whole car thing has me twisted and is making me hate my life. I have bad credit so I can't get a loan and no one I could borrow the money from.

Blessed--- All I can say is if your man can't accept you having this virus then you need to move on. I am not even sure counseling would help.

That is it for me. I'll check in but if you don't see me for a few days, you know why... :-[ :-\ :'(

Netta - Get well soon.  Sorry you hurt yourself.

Betty, Snow, Viv, Mum, Wishful, Drag, Blessed  Thank you. I took her home this afternoon. LOL had a hard time walking out the door.
But I know I'll sleep real good tonight. I slept in one of the spare bedrooms last night with her so Billy wouldn't get woke up. I'm a light sleeper so I hear every coo, fart and burp. She only needed to be tended to once at  4 am  but I was in bed later than usual and up and at um at 7 am as usual. I spent most of the night with her on my chest and me dozing off for and hour or so at a time at best.
Needless to say my hair looked like dookie today cause I didn't have the me time to fix it this morning LOL But I don't care. I don't have to look at it everyone else does.

Wishful I just cant wear white. I am a magnet for dirt and spills when I wear white.
LOL I love the clown makeup on your baby

Queen if you got the house would you have to mow that lawn? Sorry about the bad news with the car. Cars are nice to have but damn are they expensive to keep.

Blessed Gee makes me wonder if he really thinks he is a fool. He sure sounds like one bitching like that and him calling you fat and unattractive well hes not only a fool hes mean. Sorry you got the blues. I had post partum depression with my first son Aaron. Its horrible. I hope you get to feeling better soon. You just try to ignore your partners insensitive remarks and know you are perfect just the way you are and there would be plenty of men out there who would agree.

Wish- Those are great pics of you and Boo.  That's what we called my oldest when he was little and when he was 4 made me stop  :-[ Just recently he said I could call him that again  ;D I am like Win(I think it was her?) and try to avoid white, I attract dirt, fingerprints, gummy bears on my butt.

Blessed-Nice to see you posting, sorry your man is putting you through so much EXTRA shit. You need to do what is best for you and the kids and with that said....if he is not going to support you 100%, you need to sit down and weigh all your options.  If his friends happen to find out and have a problem with it, then they are not true friends AND why should you take over 2 hours out of your time to do something that could easily be done in less than hour for just in case.  He should be caring about how you feel right now not about his friends. Your time is important too.  I remember how hard it was for me when my son was born and the exhaustion I felt getting through those 6 weeks of giving him meds...it is hard as fuck especially when it sounds like you are doing it all alone( I did too) but you will survive and everything will be fine.  I had this amazing fear everytime any of my kids had to get tested but it always worked out.  My sons father never gave him one dose, I showed him how to do it once and when I asked him to do it one night because I was exhausted he told me to fuck off, he had to work in the morning!  I think it would be really beneficial for you if you could find a therapist or someone through your local ASO to talk to.  That is what I did when I was having a hard time with my sons father and she helped to see what needed to be done and what was best for my son and I.  I am here if you ever need to talk.

QueenT-  Around here, if you go and get your inspection sticker and it fails, we get a rejection sticker that is good for 60 days till we fix whats broke.  Is that an option there?  Are you on SSI or disability, did you check to see if you qualify for that stimulus payment?  If you do, you can do your taxes on line for free, go to irs.gov something like that.

Betty- Hope you had a good night at school.

Netta- How is the leg feeling today?

My back is killing me, I definately lifted "weigh" too much this weekend (ha,ha) ;D I love to jump into bed smelling like bengay, it gets my SO back for making me listen to all his CB radio static.  I blew one up one night because I hit the wrong but....Oops, my bad, you should of shut the shit off yourself.
Night all,

Snow---

I never heard of a rejection sticker for an inspection. Yes, I am on SSI and have already mailed my stimulus info off but from what I am hearing no one is due to get anything back til May and they are going by the last 2 numbers of your social. And since mine is 71, I expect that I would get mine towards the end of May.

Evening ladies:

Queen, I am so sorry you are going through all that extra stress about a car.  I'm not sure what to tell you to do, except maybe check out what Snow's talking about.  I don't know what the schedule is on the stimulus payment.  Maybe the irs website has it.  But yeah, I know they're supposed to be sent out in May.

Wendy, I hope you're getting some sleep tonight.  Babies (especially grandkids) are wonderful, but they require so much attention and time, don't they.  Not that I would trade time spent with my grandkids for anything.  They're so much easier to spoil also, not having to deal with the after effects and all.

Snow, hee.  Love the story about the CB radio.

School went alright tonight.  We got out early.  Only two more classes left and I'm on summer break.  Yee-ha.  Still no cigarettes ladies.  I'm feeling alright.  Still chewing on licorice when I feel like lighting up.  Physically it's not bad because of the patches.  It's the mental right now I'm trying to get through.   OK, I'm off to check out some more threads and go to bed.  Everyone have a good sleep.

Its late and I am soooooo tired, but you girls crack me UP!  Thank goodness Betty has got part of it figured out, lol!

Do you think I would so calmly state that I was moving in with Iceman, if that were the case?

HELL NO, GFs!  I would be shouting from the rooftops and would stay home from work another day just to post back and forth.  LOL  Iceman was merely saying that there was room for me (on the weekends) and I thought it was sweet of him.  I REALLY do hope that there are big plans for us in the future, but he has only been separated since Oct 1st and his kids are what's most important to me right now.  They are just little people, trying to adjust to Daddy not being in the house anymore.  I wouldn't want to do ANYTHING to make their lives more confusing right now.  I haven't met them, they don't even know about me, it would be just too much for Iceman and the kids right now, and I really, REALLY respect that.

OK, but the kicker from my speed reading here is this....and no offense, I thought it was hilarious!  (What you smokin', GF?....)  Read closely....LMAO   :D

That is nice you were able to find a new doc near your grandparents.

Granddad died in Jan 2002 and Grandma died in Feb 2005.  The CEMETERY is near the new docs office!

Snow, I hope you don't mind that I'm busting your chops, I think I hear my Grandmother giggling...... ;)

(BTW, the "consultant" works for our accountant, so when tax season is over, things will start happening at the office with regards to the work of two people that I am doing.  I'll keep you posted!)

More when I can pay full attention!  Oh, Queen, I ordered a FreeStyle Lite online last night for FREE.  My insurance covers the test strips, and I can just about afford them because ADAP covers the 6 other Rx's that I have.  Good luck with that meter!

Hello ladies. just got home from work and doing  a quick check in. I think I got good news tonight. My oldest son is being sent to a youth center here in NC instead of adult prison. I hope it will be better. It's still prison but they will teach him some skills and the max age there is 21.                                                                                             Blessed, sorry you are going through a rough patch .Hopefully it is just baby blues but if not then research your options and try to better the situation.                                                                                     Queen  ,sorry about the delay with the car. The house sounds great. I hope you get it. I appreciate you explaining  the grade difference with the weed. I upgraded to the midgrade but it's still only $70 for a fat O, I'm loving it.                                                           Betty, hope you kick the ciggies.  I know how hard it is to stop. I buy my jeans at Kmart right now. They have this brand that really fits me nicely and they are  $15. I will hit goodwill and look for some cute summer dresses. I like dresses  in the summertime.        Wishful, love your pictures.                                                                                               Everybody else, Dragonette, Moon, MM,hope you are doing well. Goodnight ladies. Cristy

Damn, 70 an O, I need to move where you are, Christy. Good news about the oldest son, I am sure that is some type of relief to you. Cindy, my insurance covers the One Touch Ultra 2, my doc called in the script for it but I guess there is some special code that the pharmacy needs and obvious my doctor must not have known about or forgot about, one or the other. I guess I was jumping the gun with you and Ice. I actually forgot about the kids, you make a good point there.

Betty, I will check out the IRS site but I am pretty sure it is still may not anytime sooner, though I wish. Just when things were going good but I think I may still have the job I was talking about. I saw the guy at the store and he asked me was I still interested. I told him yeah and went over the date and time again to make sure we were on the same page. I'm not sure if I will get paid weekly or bi yet, I guess I will get the details on the 15th. Weekly would be nice but at this point I'll take what I can get and it is a job. Plus can't I skate on hours with SSI for the first nine months? Hmm, I am going to have to check out their site. If so, then I'll be working my ass off.

Still bummed but feeling a little better, not much, just a little... ;)

morning ladies,

Cristy, that is good to hear about your son.

Blessed my dear, without having met you, I am sure you are beautiful inside and out. Your hubbie needs to get over himself. I dont know if you let him know how much he's hurting you. i mean he should bloody well know, but sometimes people make comments that they don't hear. its awful that he is so ashmed that he wants you to go to a different clinic and not even tell your daughter. but i hope that despite these things he loves you and is a good partner generally. i hope so, otherwise you will feel like you have no one to turn to, and that's a horrible feeling. that's the last thing someone needs to feel in their home let alone with a new baby let alone with being poz... i hope you guys can find a reconcilliation whether by talking so someone or working it out.

Queen, good luck. I can't afford a car myself and never could... once in a while I rent one. But I understand in the US a car is an absolute essential. Maybe you could share the costs with a friend or something so they don't all fall on you?

I am hungry as a warewolf today, i dont know why. Cindy, I did read it as a hint that you should move in, sorry about the misunderstanding. Ice's kids will get used to the situation I am sure. i undestand its a sensitive matter but kids are used to their parents having new partners nowadays I guess.

Wishful great kids. are you wearing tinted lenses or did I imagine? you remind me of someone whose name escaped me, she was Miss USA and photographed for Playboy, she now plays in Ugly Betty. do you know who I mean?

Wendy I am so scared of becoming a mum for the sleepless nights and the endless overwhelminh responsibility. your stepson & wife are so lucky to have you as relief.

hi to everyone else that I skipped this time, have a great day

Catch you later ladies,

Morning ladies:

Cristy, that is great news about your son.  I hope they can help him turn his life around.  It's never too late until one's in the grave.

Queen, I hope the job works out for you.  That sure would make it a lot easier to get that car up and running.  Is the job within walking distance?

I'm extremely tired this morning and I'm not sure why.  Every time I quit smoking I get tired and when I talk to other people who have quit, they say they all got tired.  I don't know if it has to do with the lungs clearing out or what.  It seems like with getting more oxygen I'd have extra energy.  But no.  Wish, what is the name of that diet pill you're on that causes you to speed? (just kidding)

I really have nothing else to report right now.  I'm sure I'll be back later.

Yep, once again I am up bright and early. I guess it's because I have this car ordeal on my mind and that my case worker never put my clothing allowance on my card. I called her before I logged on here and actually caught her which was a surprise. She didn't add it because she said when I turned in the paper work I left one page blank. I thought I filled it all out but after she read it to me, I realized which one it was and the reason I left it blank. It had a few questions like....Why are you on welfare? My thoughts to not answering was because it is a job search and I don't consider myself getting welfare. Getting welfare to me is getting cash, all I get is stamps and medical..The other one was list the last 5 jobs, well shit, I have been on disability for the last 5 years, I could only remember the last job I had and I didn't know the exact start date so I left it blank. The other one was my social but she could've gotten that off her computer. But she filled them out as I spoke to her. She says she may be busy today so the money may not show up on my card til Friday now. I guess I should be grateful that she finished it over the phone, she could've been an ass and made me come to the office. I guess it was my fault. Now I am second guessing whether I filled out my stimulus information right. Geez, I hope so.

I feel like such a hot mess right now. Paperwork fucked up, hair turned out terrible and my glucometer wasn't ready yesterday. Can something please go my way?!? I'm frustrated and flustered about now. I am going back to sleep, I will check back in later.

Hi ladies, Blessed, your kid are beautiful!!,
i am ok, feeling better, no broken bones.i heard from James my man friend who lives here in Va. I hope to see him soon, he is just getting back from Italy, the navy has him busy. He is in Calif and hope to be home in VA on Friday. I know i will feel better when i see him, I have been a little down,I  think its cause I have had no contact with my friend James, I miss his hugs and kisses. i feel so strange sometimes even though I have been by myself for six years now(since divorce) I  don't have any contact with a man, and i can't remember the last time i had sex,oh it was once this year with a poz man, but that didn't turn into a relationship, just a fuck, so now what? I am hoping James and I can take things to the next level, sex!!he really turns me on,remember he is not poz ,so I am being patient and going slowly, also His divorce is final the end of the month.Well I hope everyone is OK. Wish ful you are so pretty! Queen hang in there, happy about ur section 8,Betty , u go girl, no smoking!! Snow,Mom,Drag , Win, Moon Cj, HOLLA!! everyone else much love.

Afternoon ladies:

Queen, I haven't worked since like 1992.  Well, except for that stupid telemarketing job I did for like a month last year.  So, if someone wants references from my past jobs, all I have to say is good luck!  I would check with social security for sure about the work thing.  They change the amount one can make every year I think.  I'm pretty sure you're alright for nine months regardless of what the amount is, but when it comes to government stuff, I always feel more comfortable telling the person to check just to make sure.   I've never heard of clothing allowance from the state.  That goes on your food stamp card?

Blessed, omg!  Your kids are so adorable.  I whole-heartedly meant what I said about the jackass you're living with.  Do not sell yourself short.  None of us 'need' a man (or woman).

Netta, good luck with James.  He sounds like he might be just the ticket you need.  Well, before I (finally) got laid this year, it had been about 3 years since I had had sex.  Now, I'm getting pretty lucky.  I get laid about every 2-3 weeks.  It's with someone who's poz, though.  The negative men I've been with since my diagnosis have all known and they all refused to wear a condom.  And they all tested negative.  I'm not saying that's the way to go for everyone.  You'll know what to do when the time is right, I'm sure.  I'm so glad you're feeling better with that sprain.  Are you still on crutches?

I haven't done jack today, nada, zilch.  I took a nap, got up, washed my face, brushed my teeth and that's been the extent of my day.  I will probably fix lunch and take another nap.  I'm so tired.  Still no smokes though.  I had a horrendous craving earlier.  All I could think of was how much better life is inhaling on a cigarette.  But it passed.  That's what I keep telling myself when I have those cravings-'it'll pass.'  And it does.  I just hope it gets easier.

I hope everyone's having a good afternoon.  It's cold here today-only like 40 and grey. So it's a good day to nap.

Nothing going on. I decided to blog about being frustrated and the car. Of course, there were comments from the peanut gallery who had to mention me smoking weed. Saying if I stopped smoking weed I would have the money for my car. Like I sit here and smoke ounces. What I do smoke wouldn't even amount to the cost of the tire and they seem to think that I smoke for recreation which I don't. I smoke so I can eat. I guess I am suppose to stop smoking and starve. But hey, I'll be drug free and have tires. I'll also probably land up in the hospital but do they consider that? Of course not, it is better to be judgmental assholes. I really hate people sometimes.

I see you ladies have some gorgeous kids. I would post a pic of my son but you never know who might see it. If he shows up, I'll ask if he minds. Wishful, yeah, patience is definitely not one of my strong suits and everything seems to be up in the air. Capricorns don't like instability and we like to be in control and I definitely do not feel in control. I feel like I am being led by a carrot in front of me.

Yeah, Betty, I am going to check the SSI website for sure but I think it is nine months I can skate too. But it amazed me that my case worker actually thought I would remember the dates and the last 5 jobs. I can remember 3 but I didn't see the point of mentioning them if I didn't know the dates. Every 2 steps forward I get pushed 4 steps back or at least that is how it feels.

Snow---- Thanks. I finally got them and it made my day. I am wearing it now.

I am waiting on my son to show up so I can go grocery shopping. Nothing else going on. Maybe I'll peek in later.

Hi Girls

First I just want to say that I miss all of your girls.  I am doing well, but work has been kicking my butt.  12 hour days and trying to fit Whitey in the mix of things.  Yes, Whitey is still around and I did disclose to him and so far so good.  We, have not been intimate as far as consummating our relationship but I have used the lords name in vein on several occasions, or should I say every time we are together.  So not sure why we have not consummated or relationship but I figure it will happen when it does.  No sure if its because he is wanting to take things slow or if its because of his Christian back ground or because of my status.  I figure it will happen when it happens and I am just going with the flow.  I met his parents on Sunday so I assume that things are moving in the right direction.  Normally I would question by now why I have never spent the night at his house or "slept" with him but to me it really has not been a big deal.  So right now I am in a good place with him  Last night we went to Bon Jovi and had a blast.  He was great, always holding my hand, kissing me and holding me tight when all of the slow songs came on.  Bon Jovi was great and Doughtery opened for him, in fact I saw them twice in a week.     I hope for him to meet my parents soon and its nice that his son loves me and he will only eat broccoli for me, not his dad, mom or grandma.  So I think that I am in like Flynn.

Well, I have said I have been working 12 hour days with little time to get anything done.  I want to let you ladies know that I miss you and have been keeping up with your posts and I am sorry that I cannot address each one of you right now, since I have to go back to work.  I love all of the pictures you guys have posted and all I can say is that we have a group of hot ladies in this forum.  Welcome to all of the new members and look forward to getting to know all of you when time allows.  By for now.  Be good or bad, if bad is better and stay healthy.

Good evening sweeties!  Our wireless network thingy was down all day today and just came up a while ago.  I gotta make this quick and I KNOW I'm not going to get to everyone.  I'm sorry and I still love you LOTS and LOTS!

Blessed, your kids are beautiful!  What an awesome crew you have!  How old are your girls?  I can't believe your little man is 2mths old. He has more hair at 8wks old than Mini did at, well, 2yrs old.

Queen, sorry about your car.  I know how frustrating that is.  What about the job prospects, how are they coming along?  Do you have your new apartment, yet?  Stupid, white-girl question: is sewing-in hair the same as a weave?

BT, my darling, I am so proud of you for not smoking.  Giving in to cravings would be easy, but it woudn't be best.  You're tough and prove it everyday.  I admire you so much.

Winn, you crack me up.  How have you been feeling?  Any better?

Hubby has put on "Troy" and looks like he needs some cuddlin'.  He brought home a death by chocolate blizzard, so the least i can do is cuddle up with him on the couch until his arm falls asleep and he makes me get up. :P

Loads of love for each and every one of you!  My thoughts and continued prayers are with you all - always.

Nice to hear from you Sun, I thought we had lost you!

I can't reply to all of the posts, there is no way.  Its tax time and I am still everyone's "bitch" at the office.  I get all of the extra filing and stupid work to do in addition to settling accounts and getting bills paid.  The company I work for is huge, so its no easy task.  My manager had a sit-down with me today to see how "things were going."  I hate to say this but I think she really wanted to just tell me to do things her way.  Ugh.  Its tax time and she is stressed beyond belief, but if I am the only other person in there with a 3-digit IQ, why question how I get things done?

I know, I shouldn't bitch, but the amount of work they are having me do is horrendous!  Oh, and YES, I am getting it all done.  I don't see how anyone could, so I am tooting my own horn here.  There's some big meeting for the entire company (about 40 of us) on Monday.  Its with the two owners, so hopefully something is going down with the consultant we had in here.

Things have just GOT to change.  I am doing mindless work that takes up way too much time in an outdated environment.  I can't wait until I can use my smarts even more to better the company.

OK, I'm done now.  Off to shower and off to bed.  By 9pm.  I almost didn't make it to and from work today due to not sleeping well and incredible fatigue.

Gotta go.  Love you all.

UUGghhh! I had a whole long post I did before we went to cub scouts and I guess it never posted...maybe cuz I was trying to add in a pic of my oldest.

Oh well.  Wish, Keeping and Blessed- all of your children are precious and beautiful!!  I had it broken down for everyone before but I am too tired to do it again.

Hope everyone has a good night!!!

Hello girls-

Glad to hear from you sunseeker.  I've been logging in but not writing very much.  I've had a alot of challenges lately and just feel burnt when I log on.  In nut shell, my job is incredibly stressful, the guy broke up with me again (didn't see it coming), blah blah blah.  I just want to cry to be honest.

Good evening ladies:

Snow, OMG!  I love the necklace!  Thank you so very, very much.  That was extremely thoughtful.

Camms, I'm so sorry about that guy.  If he comes back around, I certainly wouldn't give him even the time of day.  Fuck 'em, feed 'em shit.  You're a strong woman.  If you need to cry, cry.  Let it all out.

Queen, you know, no matter what you do, there's always someone wagging their fuckin' finger.  Let them try to live a day in your shoes and see what they would be doing.

Mum, tell hubby big 'happy birthday' from me!  And tell him he's very, very lucky you didn't stab him with the fork the other night when you all were at Ihop (hee).  Did you get him a cologne?  What kind?  I'm dying to know.

Sun, it's good to hear from you.  I don't know what to say about Whitey.  Have you told him you would like to have sex?   Just be blunt.  That's what I would do, at least.

Cin, I hope you get some rest.

OK ladies, still no cigarettes.  I can't believe it.  I think I'm going through some of the psychological moodiness though.  The only time I went outside the house today was to get the mail.  I've had my curtains pulled all day.  Not from depression, just from having a fuck-it attitude.  I know it will pass.  I just wish it would hurry up already!

I have nothing planned tomorrow either.  I'm hoping to talk to my renter's insurance man about switching my car insurance from Safe Auto to his agency (which is Statefarm).  Mainly because of what Queen said about her bad experience with Safe Auto.  But, of course, tomorrow may come and I may not call the agent.   Pretty soon it will be time to purchase a new air conditioner.  I'm hoping to find one cheap.  I only have an efficiency, so it won't take much.  Damn, I hate spending money on things I need sometimes and would rather just spend it on things I want.  Oh well.  Maybe I'll play the lotto sometime and strike it rich, or meet an extremely wealthy woman, or something, damn.  Have a good one ladies-

Well damn Camms. It's good to hear from you even if for a second, the same with you, Sun. Sorry to hear about Spencer and that things are stressful at work. Get back to us when you feel up to it.

Sun, like I said, good to hear from you and glad to see Whitey is still around. I bet your paychecks are looking lovely from all the work you are putting in. Keep us posted.

Mum-- Yes, sew in is weave. I usually keep it in my hair because I can't do anything with my own. My hair won't hold a curl, I don't care what you put in it. So, usually I am sporting a ponytail when it is not done. I have the interview with the job on the 15th and I am stressing because the weave didn't turn out right. I will be taking it all down and trying again over the weekend. I have not heard back yet from my landlord about the house, I will probably give him a call tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Still no solutions with the car because what money I will get from case worker that was suppose to go on clothes now has to go to the car...BUMMER and I am still short getting everything done to make it legal. The only thing I would be able to get would be a pink slip when I get the title transfered which will only give me 10 days to drive it illegally and I still won't have any money in 10 days. Unless I come across a blessing like you did, the brakes and rotors will get fixed but I will still be without tires or the money to get the title transfer done until my next check or stimulus check comes. And my next check may be tied up if I get the house with moving and stuff. And the stimulus check may come around May 9th if they are on time.

Cindy, You would think your boss would be happy that you are doing such a good job instead of bitching at you about it. I don't understand that at all.

I am off to play my game for a few before I go soak in the tub. Chat with you girls later.

'Morning,

I am achecking in b4 going to get my bloods drawn. since I have been at the hospital, for around 2 years, they have switched the location of the ID unit 3 times. First we were in a cozy little corner in a side corridor. OK, if someone happened to pass there who was working at the hospital they would know why you're there. But very few people did and they were all staff. Next, they moved us to a big hall with lots of reception desks for different units. The people sit together in a kind of a scrambled lobby, we were in the back next to hematology and diabetes, the sign "infectious diseases" was facing the back. People around might notice where you're registering, might wonder what "infectious diseases" mean (kind of ironic since so many diseases are waaayyyy waaayyy more infectious), but overall we had privacy, and at least those people were fellow patients. Now though, they moved us near the entrance to that complex, right between 2 huge windows bordering the main corridor of the whole hospital, the sign can be clearly seen from that "street", we have to sit not in corners but lined up like in front of a judge, and when you sit in front of the secretary everyone can see you. I really resent that. The other day I noticed a gay couple staring at me right through the glass from where they were sitting. i don't mind strangers so much but I know a lot of people at the hospital and so does my BF. Not just doctors, whose discretion I'd like to think I trust, but lots of researchers doing even non medical research. There are lots of people I know casually from work, might not even know their name but they recognize me and so do I, the last thing I want to do is sit in that frigging aquarium and wait for them to pass by. It's bad enough that everytime I'm at the hospital I meet people I know and have to make small talk.

*** end rant ***

Mom, hope you're son's hearing test will be good. What happens with #6? how is she doing? With all the health problems, I guess it's lucky your kids are homeschooled otherwise they'd bring in on top all the REAL infectious diseases from school.

Queen, it's very easy for people to say what's wrong with other people's lives. I'm not talking about child abuse or something horrendous and obvious. Just think that with a change of country you're be toking away peacefully and legally. In fact, even in Israel, where weed is still illegal and will probabaly stay that way, you can get medical prescribed very easily if you're poz, and we had it suggested by the ASO to help with the procedure for anyone intersted.  I'm not supporting that everyone smoke or anything but people can forget that they are not perfect either, if it was legal they'd have nothing to say.

Betty, isn't it great when you quit smoking and you start to smell everything?

Sun, GREAT NEWS. Im so happy discolsure worked out for ya. I am sure W will come round sexually. I know with BF sex took longer than with any other man. There was a barrier and no denying. I suggest you go talk to a councellor or something, I preferred not to be the only voice of authority, and printouts from the net are not as reassuring as a professional. Can be just someone from the ASO or clinic. Just an idea. Now our sex life is just wow, so give it time...

Camms, sorry things didn't work out and work is a pain. Hope to see you more here, you're a great gal and he is a wuss. Im not saying that b/c he wont be with a pozzie - I resent that but have to respect other people - but all this see saw behavior, warm-cold, I hate guys like that and always have. UUUrrgh. Im sure there're many charming things about him and thats the problem... (((Camms)))

I will check in later, hugs to anyone I didn't mention, must get dressed and jump on bike

Just a quick check in before I jump in the shower to make myself smell good before heading off to the hearing clinic.  The appointment isn't until 9:45, but we have to leave at 8:15 to make the big ol' trekk.  I'll let you all know how she does.  I'm just really tired of doctors telling me that my 4yr old who isn't potty trained, doesn't talk, weighs 26lbs, has a head circumfrance the size of a newborn, very slanted eyes, straight palmer creases (both "signs" of Down's Syndrome), skin that literally peels off and leaves huge sores all over her, barely eats anything, is deaf in her right ear, and has no periphreal vision in her right eye...is TOTALLY normal and age-appropriate.  If that were true, I sure as hell feel sorry for people who DO have issues!  Then, they (docs) look at me like I'm the one who's crazy.

OK, enough ranting.  I need to run take a shower and grab some breakfast before taking off.

Mum

Oh, wait, Betty, I didnt' get him any cologne because i still can't smell anything.  I tried a few "spray the air, swipe your arm through the mist, and smell" test.  I wound up smelling like I'd been with 10 different men and sneezed the rest of the day.  I had cologne all over both arms and couldn't remember what I'd sprayed where.  I'll either wait until i can smell, or let Hubby go and pick something out.  In the meantime, he got new running shoes, and 3 new summer outfits.  I'm baking his favorite cake - pineapple upsidedown cake, and tomorrow morning, I'll make him his favorite breakfast: homemade biscuits, homemade sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, and potatoes.

Morning ladies:

Mum, everytime I read one of your posts, I swear my trip to your house gets closer and closer. ;)  That homemade biscuits & gravy sounds so good.  They make that at our local Farmer's Market and it's heavenly.  I could never make it; well, I suppose I could, just never knew how.  My 2nd ex (husband) used to make it though, and it was actually quite good.  He was a good cook.  Pity he decided to go back on drugs and clean out my bank acct.  I might have kept him around just for his cooking (no, I wouldn't have done that I guess).  I hope everything goes good with the hearing test.  Please let us know how it goes.  I didn't realize your 4 yr old has so many problems.  How do you cope with taking care of all those with such patience?

Drag, oh, I don't know how I would handle everyone coming in the lab knowing why I was there.  I suppose I wouldn't really care, but that's me.  How long does it take there for you to get your results back?

It's grey/freezing here today.  And it's supposed to snow this weekend.  I am so over that.  But, they say it's supposed to be the last of the snow.  How do they know these things?  Do they have some sort of crystal ball?

Well, last night I really went all-hog with food.  I ate some strawberry shortcake, a Twinkie, some licorice, a chocolate-covered cherry, and some bbq baked beans.  All within two hours of each other.  When I got up today, my blood sugar was 343!  I have got to stop doing that.  I've been so good; not sure what brought all that on last night.  Well, I was in kind of a bad mood yesterday.  (psychological withdrawal from cigs)  Ok, I'll blame it on that and try not to do it again.

I have nothing to do today except to go to the store at some point and get some milk.  So, I'll be checking back in later ladies.  Take care.

I am really in a bitchy mood today. I guess it started when I checked my card and my allowance still wasn't there. I called my case worker and actually reached her which has been happening since I had called her on Monday. After going over my papers on the phone yesterday, I really expected the money to be there. She got snippy with me on the phone saying she is going as fast as she can. But considering I talked to her yesterday with the papers in front of her, what is the problem with putting it in the computer? I reminded her that my interview was on Tuesday and that she is off on Fridays, what is it going to be there on Monday?

Then to keep from whining and bitching all the time here, I go to express myself in my blog to have to put up with judgmental assholes who seems to have such a great life with no problems or obstacles to sit there and tell me I am using the system. I need to quit smoking weed (which I have explained numerous times, it helps me to eat) which I suppose I am suppose to stop, not eat and just die. I guess that would solve my problems, wouldn't it? If I am dead, there would be no need for the allowance, car, or weed. I am wrong to take the allowance and use it for the car instead of clothes, which I was trying to put the money to the best possible use...ie...money gets the car fixed which would solve my problem with getting to the grocery store, missing doctor appointments, considering when I move, I will be further away from the job should I get it and if I get the job, it would help me with my gas bill and getting clothes. What other options do I have?

I am just getting to the point I feel like saying fuck it and just forget it all. Be a bum, get high off of something else other than weed, be totally irresponsible, be evicted and living on the streets. I am trying to do the best I possibly can and am being crucified for asking for help from government agencies, being blamed because I have cable, internet, and a high ass gas bill. Everything is my fault and I deserve what I get. Maybe I should just take my next disability check and just start selling drugs since I am so wrong for trying to go about things the right way or so I thought!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Queen, FUCK THE ASSHOLES!  They don't have to walk one day in your shoes.  There's nothing wrong with wanting help from the government agencies.  And I have cable, phone and internet.  And you know what?  I don't give a flying fuck who thinks that's wrong.  As for you smoking reefer, that's your decision.  I don't hear you complaining that you're out of money b/c of spending it all on pot.  Those fuckers who are responding to your blog can just go jump off a cliff as far as I'm concerned.

And please don't think about selling drugs.  You know as well as I do, you can have it all and lose it all just as easy.  I don't want to have to come down there and kick your royal ass!

Girl, just hang in there.  Just when things seem to be going into the shitter, a little ray of sun will come shining through.  We're here for you, you know that.

Queen keep your chin up.  Tomorrow's a new day.  I know, cause I'm telling myself the same the thing.  Work is sooo freaking awful.  They're making it really difficult for me, they want me to quit cause they want to outsource my jobs and save the company money.  For some of the new folks, I've been with the company for 5 years and recently, our parent company (we're a subsidiary of a japanese company)  came in, fired my boss and president and brought in a japanese guy who is really prick.  It's so awful that my new co worker and friend,  (who is also japanese) just found a new job cause the lack of communication and the boss's attitude is so disrespectful.  The office moved from a twenty minute commute to an hour each way.  Sheesh I have to get approval if I want to pick my ass.  The stress is unreal.  Good news is that I have a job interview that literally came my way today and its for a great company.  Half the distance, better pay, and really hip and upbeat environment.  I'm spending the weekend working on my portfolio, but they loved my resume and background. Whew.
Pray for me girls!

As for the Spencer, he's not afraid of the hiv, he's way past that.  Its that he got freaked out when he thought I was gonna break up with him, which I wasn't, I just said I needed to talk to him on wednesday night. The next day I got an email from him saying that he was saving me the trouble.  He is scared to death to be in love because he is in the middle of a nasty divorce. I tried to explain to him but he won't listen.  He broke up with me in a friggin email cause he said he would be too upset to see me.(how lame and disrepectful)  It was a shock.  We had plans to do great things this summer and had just came down from a fantastic weekend.  I didn't see it happening.
I want so desperately to talk to him but I'm not contacting him.  He wants space and he's afraid? Geesh he can have it.

I'm really glad to have you guys tonight.  I'm alone.  Just dropped my soon to be exhusband/ roommate off at the airport.  Sometimes when you feel so crappy its hard to talk to friends.  But writing is a good catalyst and its comforting that there are people listening.

Oh Queen, you'd love this...the ex is going to amsterdam for a concert, but his main objective is the toke and brownies.  Perfect trip for you:)

I'm gonna get some business out of the way real quick.  First, Betty my darlin', you are welcome in our home any time.  I will feed you until you are about to explode and then whenever you are ready to leave, I'll send you home a freezer-full of doggy bags.  Second, Queen, my other darlin', I understand exactly where you are coming from.  We catch crap all the time and get accused of "living off of our kids' disabilities".  It used to make me start to second guess the decisions that Hubby and I have made.  But, when we look at the alternatives, we are doing the absolute best that we can with what we have.  People do not live in your shoes or mine.  If they did, I defy them to honestly be able to do things much differently.

Ok, business is now over.

All members of the T.B. Theatrical Chior, let us raise our voices in one accord and sing: SMACK THE MONKEY AND PAINT ME PURPLE!  Mum is NOT crazy, she is NOT dreaming, she is NOT making things up, and she is NOT some off the wall hyterical female!  Ok, hold on, I do tend in rare moments to be hysterical.  But, read my avitar: Hysterical is the new calm.  Resume singing in 4-part harmony (big finish): DOCTORS DON'T KNOW JACK SQUAT!!!!!!!!!!!  *standing ovation - everyone bow*

#4's hearing test came back that her hearing has gotten worse in her right ear.  Her ABR showed that she had loss in high frequencies.  Her tests today showed that she has a loss acrossed ALL frequencies.  That's why she's putting speakers up to her ears - DUH! And why she doesn't always respond when we call her - DUH!  She's not ignoring us and she's not trying to be cute (as suggested by her pediatrician).  SHE CAN'T HEAR!  She's also starting to show signs of loss in her left ear.  Last test, her left ear had perfect hearing.  So, we go back again in 3mths, after we see the eye specialist, to discuss whether or not to aid her right ear.  I'm now taking bets on who's going to win that debate ;D

Also, written in the ENT's own handwritting, she was FINALLY properly diagnosed with microcephally - something, again, that her pediatrician argued that she didn't have. SHAZAM! Yes, i got a copy of it and yes the soon to be ex-pediatrician is going to get a copy.

Love to all my sweeties!

Hi Mum,

Microcephaly, eh? That's a pretty heavy diagnosis. Was her bio-mother an alcoholic? At least you've finally got a diagnosis.

It's a shame that the docs haven't been more on top of things from the beginning, but thank goodness these kids have got a rottweiler in their corner like you. And I mean that with absolute affection.  :-*

Bio-lady did drugs and drank while she was pregnant.  She also has an IQ in the low 60's.  From day 1 I've been asking the pediatrician, geneticist, and neurologist, if she had microcephally.  The geneticist said she can't have it because she has FAS, but sent us to neuro.  Neuro said she can't have microcephally and was doubtful of the FAS diagnosis and sent us to a psychologist who refused to see #4 because she was already diagnosed with FAS and therefore couldn't possibly have anything else.

Then I read the report which said #4 has the "potential" of FAS.  So, we went back to the psychologist who said that having the "potential" for something means you have it.  I said,"Fine, then when i come to the office today, I have the 'potential' of being run over by you in the parking lot.  So, are you going to write me a check now, or are we going to end up in court?"  She still refused to see #4.  The pediatrician subsequently has refused to make a referral to ANYONE other than the idiot who refuses to see her.

So, yeah, after dealing with this for 4 years, someone finally took me seriously.  Microcephally is defined as someone who's head circumfrance is 3 standard deviations below normal. A person can either be born with the deviation or obtain the deviation when the head doesn't grow or develope properly.  Her's has been below 3 standard diviations since she was born.  She also only weighs about 26lbs.  Now, if we can get someone to figure out why her skin keeps peeling off of her body, I'd be one happy mum .

Thanks for the compliment, Ann. ;D  It's good to hear from you.

Thanks for the support, Betty, Mum, and Keeping. I have also heard that one of the people who left an ignorant comment in my blog is someone from the forums that I thought was a friend. It just amazes me that this person would hide behind another alias instead of being a man and using the one I am familiar with here.If I told you guys who it was, you'd shit your pants because most people adore him on here.Let's just say if he was a real pastor, he'd be a hypocrite like the rest of the Bible thumpers I know.

Believe it or not, pot is the last thing I buy after paying all my bills. But like I said before, it is to help me eat. I don't see why people get their ass on their shoulders for me smoking it. I never once tried to front and say I smoke just to eat, I admitted when I first started smoking, it was recreational( I was 15 when I smoked my first joint) but why is it so hard to accept that I have to smoke it in order to survive? And if my doctor does not have a problem with me smoking why the hell should anyone else?

I have really lost my faith in the rest of the forum because of this person. So, I will no longer comment in other areas of the forum and just keep my comments for you ladies here and my blog.

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry people are acting like, well,...people.  I don't know how else to put it.  People are all, eventually, going to disappoint you. I'm just sorry that it had to be done in such a public, and sneaky, way.  You don't have to explain yourself here, hun.  More than on one occasion, I've questioned whether I should just stick to this forum and PM the resident "med specialist" when I have specific questions.  I don't have to be where you are, hun, to know where you're coming from.  And, believe me, i do, on so many levels.

Stay strong, sweetie, and to hell with the begrudgers!  If there is anything in this world that I can do for you, please do NOT hesitate to let me know.

Lots of love,
Mum

Queen, I'm getting a feeling from what you said about 'if this person were really a pastor' who it might be.  I would be highly disappointed if it were the person I'm thinking of.  And believe me, that would be the pot calling the kettle.  Girl, you just hang in there.  You know how much we love you.

Mum, well, I'm glad you finally got the hearing thing taken care of and that someone finally listened to you.  I haven't a clue what would cause skin to peel off like that.  Maybe a good dermatologist would be able to tell you?

Camm, I am so, so sorry about Spencer.  But I am glad you have a new job prospect.  Please let us know how it goes.  We're here for ya.

Nothing to report here.  I did find a copy of "Silence of the Lambs" today for $6.00 at a local record store.  Still no smoking ladies.  I'm tempted a lot, but I'm really trying.  Everyone have a good sleep.

I appreciate the support from you ladies( Betty, Mum, Christy, Camms), it means a lot to me. I guess you are right in your estimation of people, Mum. I will continue to get disappointed because I expect too much from people I guess.

Betty, I think you are on point on who I was speaking on. I kept reading the comments between the two guys arguing and I got an IM from someone on Yahoo that confirmed it. I don't feel the need to PM this person for any reason on the subject, it's just a shame that he couldn't be a man and use the name I'm familiar with. It is because of this person that I have decided to leave the rest of the forums alone and dwell here with you ladies. I was tempted to stop blogging but I changed my mind on that. When I started I knew I was bound to get some criticism and I know there are people out there who can relate to what I am going through even if they don't comment. It also helps me to be able to vent and put my thoughts out there. And in a way it is me coming out about being poz. I have a friend here who knows about my blog, reads it, and is proud of me for being open. He also told me because of talking to me when he was first diagnosed, I saved his life. So, now without a doubt, I know I have helped somebody. Have a good night ladies. I am off to do some killing in Warcraft.

Queen, when you're feeling down, remember it's only a couple of people(havent checked your blog but I assume) who criticize. Out of thousands who use this forum. Being online and being honest, and not pretentious, you are subject to this sort of thing. Take it with a grain of salt. I know easier said than done, but I have been insulted by forum members too on certain occasions and couldnt shake it. I finally realized that all sorts of people behind the screen put on all sorts of personas. Like I already wrote you, in my 2 countries, you'd have no problem getting weed, most probabaly your national health insurance would even pay for it.

Camms, OMG. Hope things work out with your job. Having worked in Japan, Japanese male managers are nuts, call me racist I don't care, they are nuts, and I could tell you some funny (or tragic) stories. I love Japan, but I would never live there again (HIV notwithstanding) b/c of the crazy freaky anal chavinist alcoholic hyper competetive Japanese men. I'd like to visit though. The women are lovely and it's an astonishing country. Even if it doesnt work out now, you can find another job. Dont give it to pressure, remember the new boss is likely to die at his desk from stress and exauhstion. Also known as "karoshi"  ;D. so next time he bullies you, just feel sorry for him...

About Spencer, don't like wimpy see saw men. Dont like it when people are unpredictable like the wind, life is too short. You will find someone as lively as yourself, and you'll look back one day and be amazed at all the heartache. Though it doesnt seem believable now. Seriously I used to be suicidal about guys and humiliate myself in a million ways and now I think WHAT? over HIM?

Cindy, hows work going, bet youre looking forward to the weeked like an oasis... only 1 day to go.

Mom I never got why your family doesnt recieve better and organized care. Its a shame you have to fight and fight. then people say you should be working, how can you work when you take care of all this? just the beaurocracy is fulltime work.

I feel sad for your girl about her diagnosis, still a correct diagnosis is better than inexplicable symptoms, I do trust that she is in the best hands and you will make the best of it.

All my sweet lovies, I forgot to mention yesterday during our chior performance that the brakes went out in our car - the only car we have that fits all of us.  We were on the way home from visiting my granny in the hospital and it suddenly wouldn't stop!  Hubby was literally standing on the brakes with both feet and it would not stop.  So, this morning at 7am, he left to take it to the only place who could take a look at it before next Wednesday.  Prayerfully they have whatever parts are needed to fix it.  We can't go without a vehicle.

The city just passed us has had an awful time with their water system.  The city water showed ecoli and chlorofil (?) in it.  They have to boil water to even wash thier hands and brush teeth.  Many resale business have had to close.  The advisory went out the day my granny went into the hospital.  She spent over 4 hrs in the ER waiting on a room because the hospital had to figure out what to do.  30 surgeries / day have had to be cancelled.  They had to bring in truck loads of water every hour just so the cafeteria can wash dishes and cook for the patients.  It's times like this that I am SO glad we have a well.

Drag, hun, i wish I could explain to you why we aren't getting decent care.  I'm dumbfounded.  We just keep trekking along and often end up taking the kids out of state for care (and paying for it out of pocket).  I'm not quite sure what people expect from us and I personally have stopped caring.  When I look around, I sure don't see any of the nay-sayers beating a path to my door offering help. the funny thing is, that we KNOW what our kids' issues are.  The problem we're having is that doctors come up with every excuse in the book as to why NOTHING is "wrong" with them, or why "something" is up, just not what we "think" (ie. #6 is ignoring us or being cute when, no, she can't hear).

Hubby and I do work - we own 2 businesses.  BUT, the state program that we have a contract with - Birth to Three / Early Intervention - is $3 million in the hole and we haven't been paid for nearly 3mths.  We do our own billing and we are expected to continue with our clients, without a paycheck.  Fiscal year (and new money) doesn't start until July 1st.  All that money will be gone trying to pay everyone for work done since January 31st (the last week we got paid for).  And, mind you, we get no benefits like retirement, 401K, insurance, nothing - "just" a paycheck, which hasn't been coming either.

Queen: I'm very disappointed, too, in the person you mentioned.  Although, thinking back, I can see it happening with comments he's made to me via PM.  Not about you, but about things that he and I have been discussing.  But, if you are going to put your beliefs out there, be wo/man enough to own up to it.  Good luck next week on your job interview.  I'm rooting for you, hun.

I need to go feed the crew.  Our big special breakfast is going to end up being a big special lunch or supper.  Hopefully Hubby and our car will be back home by then.  We never made plans of how exactly he's supposed to get home if they have to keep the car.  Whoops!

Love, hugs, and moochies!

Morning ladies:

Queen, don't let other people run  you off the forums. If you need a break from them, alright.  But you're just as important as any other person on here.  I would just love to have this person come forward with who he actually is so I could rip him a new asshole.

Drag, what will you be up to this weekend?

Tendai, have they decided the elections yet?  I haven't heard anything lately.

Mum, your brakes went out?  Wow.  I'm so glad no one got hurt.  It's always a story with you guys!  It makes me not feel so bad.  My sister in AZ, who is a respit worker for the state and has two handicapped kids in home has no 401K, retirement, insurance etc. either.  But I think she's eventually looking to get out of it.  I'm not sure when and she's getting older (56).  And she has to fight to get everything for her kids.  Her stepson (she has sole custody of) has severe CP, is blind and severely retarded, and has upper respiratory distress all the time to where she is constantly suctioning him.  He can't eat anything solid either; Ensure goes in through a tube via his belly.  The girl she has has spina bifida.  I'm sure you two would have a lot to talk about.

I've been up for a couple hours.  I already had my coffee, exercised, ate breakfast and cleaned up the kitchen.  All I have to do is take a shower.  I want to get a study-guide written out for the upcoming final in my Political Psych class.  That should take awhile.  This weekend I'm going to do the research paper that's due on the last day of class (a week & 1/2).  Still no smoking.  I'm finding it the hardest when I see someone else smoking.  It just looks so relaxing.  I keep reminding myself of the smoker's cough, constant sinus problems etc.

Nothing exciting happening in my neck.  This evening I'll be going out to supper with my best gay friend.  We're going to Applebee's; I've never been there, but heard it's good.  I hope all you lovely ladies have a good morning.  I'll be back.

Hubby called a couple of hours ago and said that the brake pads needed replaced to the tune of $250.  I had a small heart attack.  He called back later and said that they folks still hadn't gotten to the car.  I asked him how in the wolrd he knew how much it was going to be if no one had looked at it.  He ensured me that they did indeed look at it, then took it off the rack and proceeded to work on cars that didn't require as much work.  WHAT THE HECK??  If they had my car on the rack, knew what was wrong, then why didn't they fix it?

Anyway, Hubby just called me back and said they have it back on the rack and it's worse than they thought (why am I not suprised?).  The cost is now $700 !!!  I had another small heart attack and an anurism.  The stroke, I'm sure, will follow soon.  I asked if they were going to take it back off the rack or if they were going to actually fix it this time.  Good news is that they are working on it and should be done in about another hour.  There's no banks within walking distance of the mechanic so not sure how Hubby plans on robbing one to pay the bill.  It's not like we walk around with $700 in our back pockets, or our bank accounts.  *sigh* I guess we'll work that out when he gets home.

I just got finished pulling out some short-sleeved shirts for the gang.  It's getting up to 77 today, but by Monday, it's supposed to be back to 48.  By Wed / Thurs., back to the upper 60's to low 70's.  I only pulled 3 or 4 for each kid.  My cough still lingers and I'm back to ignoring it.  It's caused whatever it is that keeps me from peeing to get "tired" and not close properly.  So, I'm also back to leaking every time I cough.  I'm tempted to squeeze my big honkus into #4's size 3 diapers.  I'm falling apart at the seams and the hotglue just won't hold me together anymore. :P

Nothing else exciting has happened today. Laundry, laundry, and more laundry.  I've folded 2 loads, have 1 in the drier, 1 in the washer, and 1 more to wash and dry.  Crazy thing is that by the end of the day, I'll have another load to do.  I'm joining a blind nudist colony.

Love and more Love,
Mum

It's another day. And I feel totally numb. For the time being, I'll stay away from the rest of the forums. I don't like being around phony people and if it is indeed the person I'm told it is then it will be for the best. I figure if anyone from the other side wants to know what's up with me, they can PM me or lurk over here. Ann, I will PM you with the details of why I feel it is who it is.

A friend did loan me money to get my car from the mechanic.I didn't even ask him but he knew what I was going through. I just have to figure out how it is going to get here. No money for a tow truck so I am looking for someone to tow it, actually it can be driven but needs a chain hooked up for a tow because the plate and stickers are expired. Another friend owes me some money and my son owes me money too, though he is always not dependable. But if I get both from them, then that should cover the cost of getting the brakes and rotors. The friend who lent me the money for the mechanic is also going to put them on for me because he knows the mechanic personally and says the guy will overcharge me for doing it. So needless to say I am grateful for that small blessing. Now I just have to come up with the money for the tires and to make it legal. If a car doesn't pass inspection here, you only have 10 days to get the problems fixed or to be able to drive it.

It is someone else's turn to start up the next thread. My sugars have been high as hell lately and I haven't been eating but once a day even with smoking. I am assuming it is prolly all the stress I have been under. Nothing planned for the weekend but to do my hair over. I'll be around...

Good afternoon ladies:

Mum, wow.  That's a lot of money.  And from what you posted earlier, you guys will probably have a hard time paying the bill.  I wish you only the best, you know that.

Queen, just hang with us.  Maybe this whole thing will be straightened out.  I hope it will.  I would really hate to find out the person we think it is was actually the one posting it.  It just seems really out of character.  Well, whoever posted all that shit in your blog is a shit-for-brains person (people).  Like I said, you know we love you.  I hope your sugars get better.  I hate it when mine are really high.  It makes me feel bad, emotionally as well as physically.  Mine are usually high in the morning; but that's because I eat a lot of carbs/sugar at night.  Something about the night makes me want to eat.  Anyway girl, you just stay tough.  We're here for you.

I did get the study guide written out for next week's exam.  I have nothing to do now until gay bff comes by around 5:00.  I was going to go get a couple Glade candles at the store, but it's supposed to start storming here, any minute now, with wind gusts getting up to 40 mph.  It's a tad overcast out, but not too bad.  Of course, that could change in 5 minutes.

I hope all the other ladies are doing alright.  Yes, it is time to start another thread, but Queen and I did the last two; who's going next?

Keeping, just go to the main menu of the women's forum and click on New Topic

Queen you need to get some food in ya. I cant really relate to the no apetite thing, never felt that. of course my vain and anorexic side wishes i did, but i know its no picnic. it looks like slowly the car thing will work out.
Don't get depressed on us.. for a couple lousy comment in your blog. I read them BTW. It seems like you feel you have to answer every comment, you don't. You don't need to justify yourself continuously to every Tom & Dick. "Dick" hehe, at least I make myself chuckle.

Mum, reading you & Queen, I am seriously thankful I dont need a car as of yet. it's like another family member to take care of. what a pain in the behind. try not to drown in all that laundry.

i feel great today, i even went to my first ever spinning class, but sad that my sisters are down. it's like when the thread is happy it makes the picture complete, know what i mean.

ciao for now

oh yeah Betty, you go for no smoking, of course being around smokers makes you crave, that's about the only time I still crave too...
