WTF? What is wrong with people?
« on: March 31, 2008, 04:51:02 PM »
If parents can do this kind of things to thier kids, it scares the crap out of me what perfect strangers might be capable of.

http://www.comcast.net/news/articles/national/2008/03/30/Children.Killed/

There was a guy last summer that started himself and his two kids on fire in the car, right around the corner from my house, I drive by the place everyday.  It is all so sad!

it scares the crap out of me what perfect strangers might be capable of.

The overwhelming majority of children who are abused and murdered meet their grim fate at the hand of a parent. Usually the father or step-father, but mothers figure prominently too. Nephews, cousins, uncles and close family friends (again usually male) are routine offenders as well.

Curiously almost all male child abusers and murderers identify as heterosexual. I suppose that's why the Catholic Church doesn't like gays in the clergy. They just don't have the right tendencies.

"Stranger-danger" is a bit of a myth really. Kids don't like weird people and tend to stay away from them. They usually have enough brains to realise that the 60 year old single man at the end of the street whose maltese terrier only ever needs to take a shit when succulent, juicy young children are going to and from school is probably best avoided.

And the ones who don't realise that probably weren't gonna amount to much in the long run anyway.

Yairs. I'm led to believe it's rather difficult to kill ones children after committing suicide.

It would have been clearer if I said homicide followed by suicide.

These people should be made to eat and drink only hot sauce for the rest of thier lives.  Shit, the kid wasn't even 2 yet.  They probably sold the diapers for drug money.

Nice try!  Go directly to jail. Idiots.
