Nice title, Betty. My Easter sucked since I was throwing up in the early morning hours, not sure what that was about. I had a headache that I couldn't get rid of no matter how many IBs I took. I slept most of the day and night. I was scared to eat but I made a steak and managed to keep it down. Today, I feel kind of weak but I think I am going to get out of the house anyway.

The thing with Boo, well, I have no way of verifying anything. What made me think it was true was because the girl said that Boo had cheated on her with a few females and demanded that I get tested. I kind of laughed at that but what could I say? I told her that I knew of his diagnosis because he told me, not that I hooked up with him on Poz personals. I am wondering how she had his Yahoo password too but then maybe she is his gf and had it. I can't imagine him lying about dying to try to hide something but then stranger things have happened. I couldn't stop thinking about him. The fanbox thing has me for a loop though, I did send a message to whoever on there but hasn't gotten anything back.

Welcome to the new folks.....I think I need some fresh air or something. I will check back later..

Queen, I don't know why anyone would lie about death either.  I've seen a few people do that (lie about someone dying) and a few people close to them die.  Sorry you felt sick Easter.  Maybe it was your nerves.  They can do funny things to us.  I hope you're feeling better.  I have an exam I need to study for, but my heart just isn't in it.  Maybe I'll just take an 'F' on this one.

hello ladies,

well easter has passed too quickly... BF came back last night which was great. It's absolutely freezing here but I just read that 2008 is predicted to be the warmest year ever. wow. as much as I don't like the cold, this global warming isn't funny. at all.

sorry you're sick again Wendy. I remember when I was bellow 100 the doctor wanted me to wear a mask on flights, I took it but was embarassed to wear it. I think if you go into a hospital by all means wear one, that's a germ factory.

Betty, have you guys considered renting out the place and using the rent to pay the mortgage? is that allowed in the US? I mean if you manage to do that, you could eventually sell it and split the price. Or are you going to sell it now anyway?
Once you get real sick of the smokes, quitting again will be easier. You need something to replace them as stress reducers. I can't think of anything right now but is should be healthy, maybe just some deep guided breathing?

Queen hope you get better soon. About Boo do you know his real name? If you know his town couldn't you find out if he really died or not? isn't there a registery of some sort. Truthfully, since he was pretty sick and didn't take med, that might've happened. What about white pages, if you know his full name and town, he could be listed.

Thandi, nice to meet you. I like your name... we have a lady here from Zimbabwe, Tendai, you'll get to meet her during the week when she posts. And I believe there's a south african called Tamika who posted in the Pregnancy thread. She's pregnant right now. I may have missed your intro somehow but look forward to getting to know you.

...& you Tre Dai. It's so cool to have more women here all the time.

Keeping congrats on the wedding!! That's a quick decision and even picked colors already. So you will not be wearing white? I will only discuss with my BF if we will get married in Nov and how in August (I mean around August we will make the final desicion regarding date, location etc).

Cindy, hope you're OK. Let us know s.v.p...

Mum, Snow, Wishful, Blessed - how you keep up with the forums and with the kids and with a bunch of other things I have no idea, but when you have time please share how you do it.

Have a good week ladies, wherever you are

modified to add that I just read your intro thread Tandy, I had your name wrong. I like Thandi too though, like Thandi Newton if you know her.

I officially started my spring break by sleeping in till 7:00. Of course my dog wasn't having it, she's used to getting up at 5:00. She pesters me until I am up. Talk about alarm clock...LOL! Well my Easter was interesting. I kind of alluded to the drama with my family before. We had Easter at my dad's house, my dad kept the house and my mother had to move to an apartment  ???. Well my dad's girlfriend of the moment joined us. My mom's parents came too. My mother also cooked the lunch for everyone while the girlfriend "pretended" to do stuff. She is from the Philippines  and does not speak English. My sister and I are convinced she is with my dad for his $$$$. This was the first time my grandparents met her and they were kind of surprised. Crazy...I ate and got out of there fast. It sounds like everyone else a nice Easter...except those who were sick-sorry Betty and Win   :'( Hope you feel better soon!

I have decided that I am going to do something about this weight I have gained. I am starting tomorrow both with the gym and a "lifestyle change". I don't want to say "diet". We shall see...

My ex came by this morning...same old crap there. This is our 13th year.

As soon as I lose some weight and feel better about myself I am putting myself out there. I need to find a man for more than a bootie call...LOL! (referring to my ex)

Talk to you all soon! :)

Well Viv, you know Drag mentioned starting a thread about what we eat, trying to lose weight etc, that kind of stuff.  I think it might be a good idea as I also would like to shed some lbs.

And Viv, wow.  I don't know what to say about your dad's woman.  She speaks no English?  Geeze.  I would get out of there as quickly as possibly also.  I'm glad you're on spring break now and can get some rest.

I hope all you other ladies are doing alright.  We really miss you guys around here when you don't post.  Good night ladies-

Got through the kids' birthday party, Easter,  and just when I thought thing were settling down, I made the mistake of looking at the calendar.  We have like 5 things schedule for every stinkin' day.  #2 starts baseball (coach's pitch) practise tomorrow.  He'll practise Tues, Thurs, and Sat.  Not real happy about the Sat. practice.  #5 will start t-ball in the next couple of weeks.  They'll finish just in time for football to start for #1.  We have a "one sport" rule.  They can take dance and 1 sport ONLY.  Otherwise, we'd be running around 24/7 from spring until winter.  Maybe I'm selfish, but I just won't do it.

I'm still waiting for the audiologist / ENT to call back with another apptmt. date.  I'm afraid they're going to call and tell me they have an opening in 15 minutes - even though I've told them that we live over an hour away.  I need at least a 3 hour lead time.  So, we'll see.  I just hope I'm not causing a rukus for no reason..and they end up finding nothing new. But why else would she stick the speakers up to her ears?  Oh, who the heck knows.  She's supposed to see the eye specialist in May, I think I'm going to move that up, too.  Her left eye is doing some funky stuff.  Best to just get it all over with at once, i guess.

No luck finding another doctor, either.  It's been spitting snow all day..that sucks, too.  I need some really good news to write about. I feel bad constantly posting negative, whiny stuff.  :-\

I'm gonna go to bed.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day all the way around.

Love to you all!

woke up to a snowy day and my period  :-\ not that I dont mind not being pregnant yet, but I mind thinking there might be a problem, but BF says he refuses to worry until 6 months passed, so I'll try not to.

Viv, your dad's GF should know at leasy some English, English is the official 2nd language of the Phillipines, I can't imagine she doesn't know any at all. I used to have a friend like your dad's GF when I live in Japan, she married a 48 year old man when she was 21, they met online. You do see a lot of these women around here women from Thailand, or some African country with an old Dutch guy... they are kinda helpless, it's not a good position to be in. They are in it for the money, and usually they try to help their families too. They are pretty isolated. I know some people see these women as evil golddiggers etc, and I suppose some of them are, or used to be bargirls etc when the man met them. In the case of my friend, she was very culture shocked and miserable with her husband, finally she somehow got over it and had a baby, I don't know what happened to her since. I have to tell you when people make 25$ a month (at best) they will make some pretty desperate choices. Around the mid east, in Israel, Greece, and even worse in the Arab Gulf countries, a Fiilipino is a code name for a slave, as in "I'm not your Filipina, clean that shit up yourself".
Anyway since that's a given hope you work it out somehow, I'm with you as I would lose it if my dad married someone strange that I couldn't communicate with and who I thought might be ripping him off. There're two sides for every coin though, the men are after something too... But I would not like my dad to do that, not at all.

Wow it's snowing heavily, I'm all dressed but don't know if I can leave the house, it's slipperly to cycle. I should get my ass to work, it's 09:35. I think I would go into shock if I had to wake up at 05.00. especially when it's cold. Even 7 is way too early. Not that I didn't used to do that (OK not the 5).

Mum whine away, I like it when people whine, makes me feel not alone...  ;)

I'm up for the "lifestyle" thread where we could log in what we ate. then if we ate something we know we shouldn't, at least we'd know we have to fess up. It's also easy for me to pretend that i didn't quite eat that... you know if you're standing, it doesn't count  :D

Morning ladies:

Mum, I don't think you whine nearly enough.  Believe me, if I had all those little 'responsibilities' I would be whining 24/7.  I like it that you share your life with us here.  I loved your pictures you posted in o.t. also.  You just hang in there girlie.

Drag, I'm glad I don't work.  I really don't think I could.  I can't keep a regular schedule.  My latest one has been not to get out of bed until around 9:00 a.m., then possibly go back to bed an hour later, only to get up around 1:30 p.m.  I used to be a regular at getting up around 6:00 a.m.  Not anymore.  I think the grief has a lot to do with it lately.

Yes, I'm feeling a lot of grief pains.  A lot.  I was going on my Napster last night looking for a good version of Amazing Grace and came across one by R. Carlos Nakaii.  He is an excellent flute player (yes, he's Native American).  It's a really gorgeous piece.  So I dowloaded some of Mr. Nakaii's music.  I used to listen to that all the time.

Mornings are rough.  I seem to have the Kaletra squirts every morning.  And I have anxiety attacks when I wake up and always feel wore out.  That could be a combination of a lot of things-grief/poor diet/lack of exercise.  Oh!  It's been 24 hours since I had a cigarette.  Hopefully this time I'll be able to stick with it.  I still want one at times, but it fades fast every time I cough up what feels like will be a lung.  And I'm going to see about starting to do some kind of execising today, this morning, as soon as I'm off these forums.  I keep thinking to myself  'you can be healthy and in shape.'  I wonder if that will ever be true.  I'm going to try.

Anyway ladies, I've ranted on long enough. I hope you all have a good day.

Morning Ladies-
I hope everyone is feeling better.  I am, a little anyway.  The sun is shining here so I feel like I should get out and do something but I had to drop my car off to get my windshield fixed.

Betty- If I can figure it out I am going to try to find that version of Amazing Grace, it sounds beautiful.  I thought of you the other day, I was in Ocean State Job Lot and they Led Zepplin fleece pants, I think they might have been mens but they looked really comfy, especially to wear around the house.  Good job staying away from the smokes.  I don't even smoke but when I get wicked mad I crave a cigarette so I can just imagine how it feels to be used to smoking them.  If you ever need someone one to talk to, I am here and I have free LD  ;D

Drag- Sorry to hear about your period and the snow!  Glad your BF is back safe and sound.

Mum-  I don't think you whine enough. I can't believe you home school too!  You must have the patience of a saint!

Viv- I hope you have a great vacation and you get do some things for yourself.  The "what we eat" post sounds like a good idea.  Does Viv (that's your dogs name, right) like to go for walks?  I want to go out for a walk today but don't really want to go by myself.  Cassius, pulls me around like I weigh 5 lbs, so he is no help  :-[

There was an article in the Sunday paper about a forum they are having at the local college for women to air thier concerns.  I really wish I had seen it early because I think I would have sent something about women and Hiv.  I did send someone an email so we see if I get any replies.

I hope everyone (where is everyone?  :)  ) has a good day!

Ok I should be fair. My dad's girlfriend does speak English but it is broken and I KNOW what he is getting out of it. He is for sure a dog!

Snow: My dog's name is Vivian and no I don't really take her for walks. She is very difficult to handle on a leash. She is a small/medium dog and she thinks she is a German Shepard and likes to be the boss of everything, me, other dogs, other people, cars, etc. I have been taking her to daycare since she was a puppy. My vet has it on sight and it is really wonderful. She gets to socialize with other dogs ands has constant supervision. It is expensive but she is my "child". Of course when she is at "school" she is a model dog, but when she is with me it is a different story. To quote Caesar Milan, " I am not the pack leader." LOL!

I'm glad everyone is doing ok. Talk to you later!

Wishful, get well soon. Sorry to hear you were real sick.

Betty, you can do it! I am sorry about the grief, but it's inevitable and in a way healthy. I hope I don't sound like an amteur psychologist when I say that, I do beleive it. If you didn't feel anything, that would be dangerous. You know one of the things that characterizes addicts is denial of pain and fear and any negative emotion. It starts with denial and ends with using substances to aid with shutting down pain. So I think you're doing good... hang in there. 24 hours without smoking - cool.

Netta - I know what you mean with the new doctor. I've used the same clinic for the last 15 years too and had the same lady PA for 13 of those years. This new lady I have is a NA I think. The clinic I use decided PA's where too expensive to keep on staff I guess.
Anywho she is in and out in 5 minutes, she doesn't check my lymph nodes, look in my ears, feel on my stomach or nothing.
First time I saw her I about had a fit and refused to leave until I saw a regular doctor.
That sure as hell isn't quality care. If I know I have a problem I'm not budging until I see a doctor.

The food thing... I'm am so not watching what I eat. I know I look thin to some of ya'll but to me I am at the very least 25 lbs overweight. But I don't want to change my eating. LOL
I know my problem. I drink too much soda or sugared drinks. Aside from the occasional chef boyardee crap in a can, chocolate, frozen pizza and take out chinese. I eat fairly reasonably I think.
Usually I don't over eat. Usually...

Afternoon ladies-

Keeping, congratulatoins on your wedding.  You will definitely have to post some pictures when it happens!  There's a lot of planning that goes into one; is this your first?  Do you have anyone to help you?  That makes things a little easier.  Again, congratulations.

Wishful, I'm glad you're at least some better.  Take care of yourself and let us know how/what you're doing.

Snow, when the sun's out here, I always feel so much better.  It was out yesterday, even though it was cold.  Today, it's grey again and frigid.  By the end of the week, it's supposed to be 50, but rainey.  Where is spring already?!  Those Led Zeppelin pants sound interesting.  How did you know L.Z. is one of my favorite bands?  I have a few of their songs downloaded.  I have a monthly subscription to Napster, so I download a lot of music.  With all of L.Z.'s tracks, though, I have to apy .99/track.  It's got something to do with copyright laws. ???

Viv, doggy daycare, aye?  Hee.  I know how pets can become our 'children.'  Now add that to the kids you have at school, and you have quite the family.

Drag, thanks for starting that food thread.  I will be checking in every day (hopefully).  Lord knows my diet can use improvement.  We're each responsible to take charge of our health, and I really need to start doing that instead of wandering aimlessly through life like I have all the time in the world to change things.

Netta, you are just a sweet, sweet lady.  I am so glad you found us here.  I have never been to Georgia, but every time I think about it, I think of Ray Charles singing 'Georgia On My Mind.'  I would love to visit there sometime.  Oh, it also makes me think of peaches.  Sorry about your bad experience at your clinic.  You need to speak up about those things.  We deserve to get treated right.

Wendy, I don't look overweight either, but that's because I'm tall.  I am about 20 lbs overweight in reality.

Well ladies, I did buy a pack of cigarettes.  And I hadn't had any caffeine in about 5 or 6 days because of the bladder infection (which I still have) so I also went to 7-11 and bought an Arizona RX Energy ice tea.  I hope it works soon.  I could fall asleep this very moment.  Like Scarlet O'Hara said "there's always tomorrow." (har)

Have a good afternoon ladies-

I'd love to rant and rave, but I think today has actually been good.  We had "some" school and went shopping.  I try to find those already put together Easter baskets after easter when they are 50 - 75% off.  We get them, take them apart, throw the baskets away, eat the candy, and save the other "stuff" for birthdays / Christmas fillers.  We went to Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us...they were ALL out!  They had 1000 the day before Easter.  I guess we were a day late... :(

Netta, if you look at the thread in OT, "shameless showing off" there is a picture of our youngest daughter in a purple / white dress.  That's one 1 crocheted for her.  When she was born, I crocheted all 3 girls matching dresses.  I went to the material store today and got material to make their summer dresses.  I'll post pictures when I finish them.  The way things are going, they won't be wearing them until August.  It should stop snowing by then, right?!?

I think I've found a pediatrician.  I have to set up a time to call and speak to the doc himself.  But, he just may work out for what I need - med. check-ups for #2 every 3mths, and referrals for #6.  Other than that, he never has to see me - lucky  him!  No luck so far changing the ENT / audiological appmt.  I've decided I'm just not going to stress about it.  Too many other things to deal with at the moment - like taxes and reconciling the bank account with our lives.

#2 starts coach's pitch practice tonight and I suppose i should be the good mum and feed him before he goes. PB&J, apples, and chocolate milk - supper of champions..lol!

Thanks for letting me rant, whine, bitch, ect. ect.  And thanks for making me part of your group.  It means so much to me, it really does.

Big ol' hugs and moochies for all of you!

Hi Ladies,
Mum- I am glad you had a better.  That will be awesome if you found a new peditrician.  I did see that someone put your name out there but I didn't know if you wanted it to be repeated.  I usually hit all the clearance racks after the holidays too and stock up on decorations for the next year.

Netta- I am sorry you didn't have such a good doc visit.  Hopefully the complaints will help to improve her bedside manner.

Betty- We are supposed to have snow here sometime this week.  WTF?  I shouldn't complain too much, I can't really stand the heat too tough either.  You must have mentioned Led Zep before, I think you and Moon did?  I hope you are feeling better.

Viv-  Our big dog is a pitbull.  I think he is half great dane cuz he is really tall.  If he stands up on his back legs he can put his paws on my shoulders.  He is a really sweet dog, good with the kids and the smaller dogs but he doesn't know his own strength.  He listens to my SO more than he does me, the shit :), since I am the one who feeds, takes him out and plays with him.  Dogs have always been a part of my family. I have never had small dogs before they are pretty fun too.

Wish- Nice to see you back!  Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well.  How are the kiddos?

Keeping- 70's is my kind of weather  ;D  Goodness you have your handsful.  Classes, kids and wedding prep!  Are your kids going to be in the wedding?  Are you going on a honeymoon.  If I ever get married, I am eloping, I am not good at everyone giving me attention.  I hope you will share your pics too.

I was going to share a pic of the trips but I can't figure it out....again. Do I have to upload it first?  I was looking at this years and last years pic and it makes me smile how no one cracked a smile last year.  One smirk and thats it.

I hope everyone else is doing well. the oldies, the newbies and the lurkers   ;D

Good evening ladies:

OK Kristina, yes, I know your name was 'outed.'  I just didn't know if you felt comfortable with everyone using it.  But, why not?  I'm glad you're part of our group also.  I love to read your 'kid stories.'

Snow, you're going to have snow? Wow.  That's not predicted here, but of course that doesn't mean it's not going to happen.

Well, I was going to ask the professor tonight if I could take this exam in a week or two, but he let us take it open-book.  So I just did it.  I don't really like putting things off anyway.  Next week he's having someone from the Human Rights Commission talk to us.  I suscribe to their magazine and have some of their literature.  It ought to be intersting.  But, of course, the class was total chaos.  No one hardly listens to the professor.  This is the first class he's taught since he got his mater's and I don't think he quite knows how to maintain order.  Once he gets the hang of it, though, my predictions are that he will be a tough professor.

Oh, where's our Queen?  Not like you to not post a whole day, gf.  I only hope things are alright with you.

Alright ladies, off to check out a couple more posts and maybe go to bed early.  Have a good one.

Here I go, Betty. I have been really frustrated with things lately.....meaning the roomies. I kicked out the gay bff but he went on to piss me off further and blame me for his addiction. And to add insult, had the nerve to say I am hating on him?!? WTF? How can I hate on anyone who doesn't have shit? And I definitely am not hating on that piss poor man of his. I just got off of the phone telling our mutual friend about it all and he said he had to yell at the bff too. But like you ladies said, he hasn't hit rock bottom but when he does, I will not be there to help.

Then there is my original roomie, she has pissed me off too. Basically to the point that when Section 8 calls me, I am out of here. I want to live alone again. Not sure if any of you remember when I was bitching about her lack of cleaning up or waiting on me to do it all the time, including the litterboxes. She went into lazy mode again. This just doesn't make sense to me considering she is about 17 years my senior. My house smells like a fucking litterbox or it did because she won't get off her ass to clean the damn litterboxes or waits for me to bitch then will do it. I have had the talk with her plenty of times. Her excuse is she can't smell the boxes, well, uh, she sure as fuck ain't blind and she can see the box full of shit. I have a litterbox in my room and it doesn't smell compared to the one in the bathroom which is hers as well as the one on the porch. I shouldn't have to remind her to clean the god damn box. And then there is the dishes issues which she whines her hands are hurting her but she can go lay down a floor at another person's house. My name is NOT MOLLY FUCKING MAID!!! So, I left the house last night and stayed the night at my female bff's house and forgot to take my pills too. When I left her house I went over another friend's house and stayed there til about 45 minutes ago.

When I came in, it did look like things were cleaned up but little too late for me and I am getting tired of having to pitch a bitch to get things done. If you see shit needs to get done then do it, don't wait on me to do it. So, I am just biding my time til the Section 8 kicks in and I am out. I can't live like this.

On a better note, the car is officially working...Wooo Hoooo. The mechanic also runs a notary so I can get it all done there on check day. I believe he charged 81 bucks for some corroded wires or something but he also has to inspect the car which I believe it will pass. So, figure another 65 on top of the 81 plus another 36 to transfer the title to the car. I have to call to get some insurance so figure I am going to be broke on check day basically after doing the car, paying rent and the bills. But I will be mobile again!!!!!

I'll wrap it up here for now. Chat later...

OMG, Queen will have her chariot again!  Yaaaaaay!  Call Safeauto, Queen.  That's where I get my insurance.

Sorry about your roommate (current one).  Yes, I remember when you were telling us about how she doesn't do anything.  I don't blame you for wanting to live alone.  At least you'll know then the place will be clean.

On another note, glad you're alright.  I was getting a little worried. :-*

Hi Queen- Sorry to hear about the roomy situation.  I could never live with another women, I tried it once and it was complete hell.  As far as your gay bff, I know you must be mad as hell and hurt, but it is all him and not you, you tried, he didn't.
That is awesome your car is fixed and it was only wires.  I am so happy for you, I had my windshield replaced on my car today and I thought I was going to go nuts not having a car for 6 hours.  Roadtrip....where you wanna meet?   ;D  I see the guys have a poz retreat ,why can't we?
Have a good night!

Snow---It would seem the only woman I can live with is my female bff but I have always been the type who liked to have my own. I thought it would work out with the roomie but I refuse to be someone's maid and my kids are grown. As for the gay bff, he is on his own and I wash my hands of him. He made his bed and he has to lie in it. I thought we had discussed meeting up somewhere in the past but I guess it was just a thought. Maybe one day.

Betty- I will call Safe Auto. I had them before when I got into the accident with my Caprice. I hate the way they treated me because I only had limited insurance, like I wasn't worth a thought but they wanted my money every month. I will probably start out with them til I can find something better. Not to worry, I am alright, I was just majorly pissed and got out of the house. The walking was good for me even though my legs are a little sore now.

OMG, Queen, I can't believe what you've heard about Boo.  It kind of makes sense considering how bad off he was, and not taking his meds, but Win brought up a good point, too.  Maybe its a hoax?  Somehow I think our beloved Boo is gone from this world, and since she just found out about the diagnosis, the "GF" is scouring his computer for any info on his secretive past re: the virus.

Damn!  I am so sorry, GF!

I haven't had a chance to read this thread, just skimmed the other one.  I have had docs appts every night for my neck, but the vertigo is virtually gone.

And yes, I kicked Iceman's ass in Guitar hero!

More this weekend, I just don't have time to be on here as much anymore.  I'm up at 5am out the door at 7am and don't get home until 8pm.  Ugh!

hey Cindy!!!

Queen, congrats on the car. My advice with roomie, before you give up, is to sit down and write a roster (rooster?) with her, when is each one's turn to empty the boxes, do dishes, take out trash etc. just tell her that it's hurting your relationship b/c you end up being mad at doing things yourself and you don't want to be mad... if you schedule everything, you won't have to confront her and she won't have to give dumb excuses. make sure to tell her that if someone forgets, they should do it next time. It's worth giving in a shot IMO, b/c you guys are friends before roommates... so even if you split it would be nice to do so on good terms. sorry bout BFF, he is on the defensive...

I think Cindy's right about Boo, but we won't know for sure unless you investigate. I am sorry, my condolences.

Morning ladies:

Queen, yeah, I probably should switch my auto insurance to the place that has my renter's insurance (State Farm).  I think Safe Auto probably has so many customers, they treat everyone like just another number.  I know you will be so happy to get that car back though!  And I'm happy for you.

Cin, long time, no hear!  I'm glad that your vertigo is almost gone.  Yippee!

Tendai, I have to ask, is the picture in your avvy from 'Titanic?'  I read in the food thread about 'Saturday.'  Is that when they're having the elections there?  I will be sending lots of positive energy your way, my dear.  It's time you had some good there!

Well, I'm back up at a normal time for me.  I didn't go to bed until after midnight, but I managed to get up at 7:00 a.m.  Before yesterday, I hadn't had any caffeine (none) for like 6 days.  It's no wonder I was dragging around.  So, when I went out and got the energy tea, I felt so much better.  This morning I'm drinking a cup of coffee and I do feel better than I have the previous mornings.  So, note to self, drink caffeine.  I don't overdo it.  I just don't want to go through caffeine detox right now.  Too much other stuff going on.

Anyway, my pastor is coming over this afternoon at 2:00 (remember now, this is not some old cremugeon [sp], my pastor is a lesbian who's been with her partner for nearly 20 years), then my therapist is supposed to call at 3:15.  So maybe I can get some emotional shit out today.  That will only help things.

Other than that, nothing exciting or earth-shattering.  Have a good one ladies.  I'll be back.

Tendai, this is one of these speechless moments for me, but just know I care and hope and pray with you.

Betty, glad you feel better & even took the test yesterday and got it over with. I never heard that drinking caffeine in moderation is bad anyway.

Tendai, I used to get the runs when I drank coffee also.  A friend of mine (who has Aids) told me to drink a big glass of water with a cup of coffee.  And it worked.  No more runs.

Hi Guys-
Hope everyone had a good day!  I am exhausted, I didn't fall asleep til 4 am and had to get up at 7 .   :-[
I went to group today, cleaned up in the yard, took the kids to the park and just came home from cub scouts.

Did you Wire watchers know that Bugs sponsor on the show is actually the guy or wrote and sang the theme song?  I saw that on Jay Leno last night and I didn't have any idea, he actually sings pretty good.

Everyone take care!

Spring is here and looks like it's here to stay! I'm not ready!!

I was upset last night b/c I offended someone, those who were here know what happened. But I was just going with the flow.... that's behind now, but it really had me thinking, of how much we emotionally invest in these forums, I mean I was almost crying, b/c we (I) feel that real life cannot offer me the understanding and acceptance of the forums, but nor does it offer the frequent misunderstandings. Besides there is just no replacing the presence of people in your actual life, but real life has us isolated, not only from each other, but from our friends and family, in this say and age most people have to be seperated from people they love and care about b/c of the econmoci structure etc.

I did want to share this video with you guys, maybe you know it it's quite famous, I always thought it was hilarious.

http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/uncensored.shtml

I know so many guys who consider this the epitome of romance... "I got a special gift for you honey... come closer" hehe. Well it was just in poor taste to share it where I did. I KNOW the feeling of craving intimacy, it's like a hole in your heart. And even worse, having the loved one there who shuns you b/c you are poz, it's an awful situation to be in, I was lucky to experience it only for a few weeks, it's better to be alone, maybe. Or maybe the best thing is to try to hold on an make the best out of the reality you've got. I think I'll paste it also in the original thread I am talking about, as it is a spill off from there.

Late to work and what a shame, wasting such a beautiful day in the office. I'll try to post some spring pics later... have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Ladies----

Yep, I am still up and haven't been to sleep yet and will probably be up for a few more hours still. I had a rough few days being pissed at the roomie and pissed at my gay friend. I haven't been around lately because I had been leaving the house. I went over to another friend's house and chilled the past few days. Not stay the night but visit. And last night I got my drink on and spoke to my friend about my roomie which she knows. I guess after drinking 2 Coors Light, I felt the need to talk to my room mate about things and cleared the air. Not to mention she had cleaned the house spotless including the litterboxes. So, she is back in my good graces but I explained to her how I felt without an attitude. I got in after 11pm and spent the rest of the night in her room talking and puffing. But while talking to her I realized that I am angry. Maybe it is because of the situation with my gay friend because I really can't think of anything else that has pissed me off.

Speaking of the gay friend, it seems like the shit is about to hit the fan. It would seem that the bf's sister is ready to give her brother the boot. It seems that he has been spending his money once again on crack..So the happy couple pretty much is homeless unless they are staying with some people who get high. Gay friend still has his stuff here which I wish he would come get. I am not his damn storage space.

In other news for yesterday, I finally got rid of my Caprice. The one I got in an accident with. I was almost in tears when they took my baby away. But I had to face the cold hard fact that I couldn't afford to get it fixed and though my roomie offered to help fix her, her hands just aren't up for the job. The other car is now running, it seems that some wires were corroded and something else. I am just waiting for the mechanic to tell me how much the inspection is going to be. I did all the math and I am pretty much going to be broke this check day getting the car legal along with the other bills. But a check well spent.

And it would seem that Kevin has gotten desperate to try to communicate with me. He went to my female best friend's house trying to plead his case. It seems now that he may be getting a job out of state and would like to send for me. Yeah, he's out of his rabbit ass mind, I'll be damned if I get stuck in another state with him and him not wanting to let me go home. No way, Jose. I may be a fool but I am not a damned fool.

Well, girls, that is the 411 on Her Majesty. ;)

Morning ladies,

Drag, I think I know which thread you're talking about (the one where you deleted something about 'dick in the box'-har).  I try to remember with each person who I'm dealing with, on these forums and well, in life.  And I try to remember that not everyone has my sarcastic sense of humor.  It gets difficult at times.  Spring there, eh?  I'm jealous. It looks like I'm going to be stuck with a couple more days of snow/sleet/rain and cold.  But, over the weekend it's supposed to get into the 50's.  And hopefully that will be the end of the snow.  But, I know the weather here.  It snowed before on Memorial Day.  So I try not to get my hopes up too high.

Queen, Kevin wants  you to move with him to another state?  Is he out of his frickin' mind?  Wow.  Some people have a hell of a nerve.  You know, I've seen more failures in people trying to get off crack than most drugs, save marijuana or meth (I'm not talking about you, dear.  I'm talking about people who smoke pot every day, all day and spend all their money on it).  But I also know it can be done.  I've seen people with over 10 years clean from crack.  It's just up to how bad the person wants to be off of it.  And if people don't change their playgrounds, playmates, and playthings, well, they're not going to change their drug use.  Him being with his ex is just a recipe for disaster.  I'm glad you're not getting drug down the shitter with him.

Well, my tummy is officially on fire from exercising it yesterday.  I can barely even blow my nose, it pains so much when I tighten it.  So does my chest for some reason.  (not my lungs, the muscles).  I will exercise this morning though.  Maybe a little yoga.  I'm not going to do anymore sit-ups for a few days.  Ouch!

Today I think I'm going to go through all this damn clutter I've accumulated (including things I've brought from my parents') and bag some of it up, put it downstairs with the dead bodies (kidding), and move my t.v. and surround sound base to another wall and try to rearrange in here a bit.  Then, I've got to get my spring/summer clothes out, sort through all my clothes, and bag up the ones I won't wear anymore and recycle them at Goodwill.  That should keep my busy most of the day.  Other than that, nothing earth-shattering planned.  I'll check back in later.  Have a good a.m. ladies-

Drag- I think that was so funny! I laughed out loud. Is that what offended someone? I think some people need to lighten up. Oh well!

Queen- That is a little odd that Kevin wants you to come with him. You two weren't even a couple. What a weirdo.

Well I go in for more bloodwork. Talk to you later!

It's a classic isn't it? I just posted it in the wrong thread @first...
"to all the fellas out there with ladies to impress.."  :D I must've watched it a 100 times. Kudos to Justin T. for parodying his own smooth R&B ballades.

I had a crap day with too much work, but am going to unwind some now... planned to go to the gym, back hurts, but I will have a drink instead. There is just too much frigging work and it's so monotonous. At least I am learning spanish while I work (listening to coffee break spanish - but you need Mozilla Firefox for it).

What do you ladies think of merging the food and dating threads? I mean it's all a big mess isn't it? food, relationships, work, life. Originally i just thought it's too boring for the dating thread to write what we ate, but we already write everything else so what's one more thing?

Netta sounds nice about your friend, but if you don't know him so well, please be careful, online acquintances can be dodgy. As can real life ones, hey Queen? funny that...

I have to get out of here, catch you all later, big hug

Well, I am running on about 4 hours sleep and I just got up about an hour ago. I'm looking rough over here, the look of a hangover without the actual hangover... :D I can live with that. I checked my sugar and it was 223, I guess that was from the 2 beers? I wasn't eating anything so that is what I am guessing is the cause. I popped my pills and will see if it lowers it in a few hours. I hope things will be stable with me come next labs but wouldn't be surprised if something was amiss due to the drama going on. The thing is that the drama isn't really my shit except for Roomie #1 but I guess the deal with gay friend didn't help. I guess things will fall back into place since the dust is clearing.

Netta- You seem to be surrounded by poz people and here where I am people are so on the DL that me and a friend joke and say we are the only poz people in our quaint little city. Come on, girlie, try to get motivated, how about some music to get you started? You'll get it together, no worries.

Wishful-- Hell No, I have not being seeing Kevin's ass. He thinks he may get a new job which is out of state and would send for me to visit him if he gets it. Honestly, he may be just saying that stuff thinking it will make me call him and it's not happening.

Drag-- I missed what you were talking about. Don't sweat someone getting offended. This is a forum and there are different personalities running wild here. Plus you never know what that person who got offended has going on in their life that might be making them a bit sensitive or whatever. Let that shit roll off your shoulder. We know you would never offend anyone intentionally. Now me on the otherhand...... ;) ;D

Betty-- Yeah, I know what you mean about the drugs. I think the only time I have not smoked weed was when I was on probation when I lived in Miami. That was awhile ago but I tell people I have no intentions of ever stop smoking weed. I guess technically I would be considered a functioning addict but oh well, I take of my business before I even think of smoking so they can kiss my black and puerto rican ass...*pucker up bitches* As long as I am taking care of what needs to be done then they can have a coke and shut the fuck up... :o And as Eddie Murphy said in Raw I think it was, in spanish, Esta mi casa y yo vivo aqui...Not sure if that was said properly but that is how he said it in Raw....Loosely translated, this is my house and I live here. Anyhow,...So, how you doing? ;D

That's how it is with me for today. Gonna watch my soaps and game for a few hours...

Hey ladies-

Just a quick note.  I went to my ASO today because my case manager had two gift certificates to the local grocery store for me.  I was sweating bullets all the way there; it's way over in another town, and on the way over, the 'low fuel' light came on on my dashboard.  My gas was between 1/4 tank and empty!  So, all the way there, all the way to the store, and all the way home, my heart was pounding.  I don't have a cell phone, there's no one I could call if I did run out of gas and made it to a payphone.  But I had to go to my ASO.  The case manager was leaving, so she couldn't have dropped them off.  I had no milk, no water (other than the shit from the sink), etc. etc. etc.  Luckily I made it home.  I don't have any $$ right now to get gas; hopefully I will come Monday.  Anyway, my heart is still a little out of whack from that.  Nothing like living life on the edge.

Drag, no, I don't think the two threads should merge.  I like it the way it is.  But of course, that's my opinion.  Majority rules.  And Queen is right (about the song).  There are many different personalities on here.  People are bound to clash sooner or later.  I wouldn't let it worry me.

Queen, I hope you didn't think I was telling you that you had the problem.  I wasn't.  I know (or knew) people who spend all their money on drugs, move from place to place because of getting evicted etc.  I honestly believe in 'live and let live.'  I don't try to change anyone, but if someone decides on their own they want help, well, that's different.  Then I will help them.  There's nothing more you can do for you gay friend.   Oh and yes, probably the 2 beers did that to your sugar.  I wonder if lite beer would be better.

OK ladies, off to check out a few threads and collapse onto the bed.

You are right Betty, I have reconsidered in the meantime. Changed my mind completely...

How stressful with the gas, i can feel it. I hope you don't mind me asking but are cells expensive in the US? Here you can get a 2nd hand one for maybe 20$, and get a prepaid card that you pay as you call, that's expensive per call but good for emergancies, as there is no monthly charge. Thing is pay phones have become obsolete. Next time have your manager mail the damn things, cheaper then gas, get her a pack of stamps. Christ what you have to deal with.

i didn't go to have a drink b/c I called the BF and he was with a friend and then another friend so I went home.

My back hurts like a mother (can you say that? it sounds very 60's to me).

sounds like you're in better spiritis Queen and I am glad. I don't smoke weed, b/c I can't handle it any longer. If I could handle it, I'd probably smoke it. I am in the land of weed after all. You're right of course there're plenty misunderstandings in these forums, but I don't like hurting people, especially unintentionally.

I haven't seen Cristy around in ages. Hope she's OK. And Camms.

Enjoy your evening ladies

*Betty I hope I didn't offend with my comment about the vouchers, just seems a shame that something that's supposed to help out ends up bringing so much stress when you have to come get it. My guess it though that you probabaly have to sign for it or something so she can't send them to you. Pity though.

Betty--- Oh, I know you weren't talking about me, I was just running my mouth in general about my smoking weed and those naysayers who assume I spend my whole disability check on weed. I am what I am (as Popeye would say) and it is what it is. If a person can't deal with me smoking the good green then that's on them. And I had days like yours with the car when I had my Caprice. Kind of glad I am working with a 4 cylinder come next week but I'll have to see how much it will cost to fill it up. At the moment, gas is 3.31 a gallon here but they expect it to be around 4 by the summer.

Dragonette--The ghetto phone company I deal with called Blue Wireless has plans that start at 30 bucks but they get us poor people who can't afford Verizon or AT&T service. I never did like prepaid phones because my minutes always ran out too fast.

Well, I was just checking in. I really need to take a nap, those little 4 hours didn't do me any good. I will check back in later...

Hello everyone-
So after going to bed last night relatively early around 10, I think.  I wake up at 4, feeling like crap, stuffy, so I come up stairs and take some cold medicine and go the bathroom and try to go back to bed....not happening.  Go back up stairs and come on here to read and this gets the ankle biters going because my computer is in the same room as them, so then I log off real quick and take them outside to pee so they won't wake the kids, go back to bed and finally fall asleep around 6 to wake up at 7.  :-[
I went to the ladies house I volunteer for to take her to a doc appt and she wasn't there so I just came home and went with the SO to the post office, out to lunch, to fed ex, went and picked the trip  lets and my oldest early from school so we could take the trips to get labs done for lead tests for school.  It is so much easier to do when my SO is with me, he stayed with the kids when I took one in to get their blood drawn.  Only one cried and no one freaked out.  ;D  I dropped my SO off so he could help his friend with a car and when I got home one of his daughters was here, ,she had gotten held up and robbed last night,3 guys, 1 knife, 1 gun(nice area, huh?) she is doing the last thing she should be doing but you can't tell her anything.  So tonight I will try to get a full nights sleep. :)

Betty-  I had no money and no gas this morning either and had like 50 bucks left on a credit card so I used that.  45 bucks and I didn't even have a full tank.  Luckily gas is still staying 3.09 around here. One good thing at least.  How did the de-cluttering go today?  I have to do that myself.   Good for you for excercising...send me some of those vibes would you?  I need to get my ass in gear too.

Queen-  Sorry you had to say goodbye to your Caprice.  Hopefully I can get these necklaces sometime soon and give you guys something to look forward to  :-\  Kevin is delusional....what else can you say?

Drag-  That Dick in the box was hysterical.  The sad thing is that some men think that way.  I kind of felt the same way the other night when a thread got locked. But like someone said their are so many different personalities and I think everyone has had so many different experiences and upbringings we are bound to see things differently but that doesn't mean anyone is wrong. As long as we don't try to hurt people straight out, which you weren't, what can you do.

Netta-  That's nice your friend is coming to fix your car. Nothing like a man who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty  ;)  How have you been feeling?

Hi Win! Wish- Keeping- Moon- Sun-Ten- Paulette-Tre- EVERYONE :)

Hi GFs~

Sorry my posts have been few and far btwn, I am ready to fall over right now, but NO VERTIGO!

I am so fucking relieved I can't stand it!  I mean its gone from 100% full-on vertigo for about 4-5 years to maybe 10% of what it was before!  I can drive fast with one arm (on the cell phone, lol), I can walk without feeling wobbly....and here I thought I was suffering from PN or something.  My chiropractor is amazing.  I saw her tonight for visit #6, and next week I only have to go 1x!  (She is doing www.grastontechnique.com on me, check it out, it REALLY works on muscle tightness, fibromyalgia, etc.)

Yes, I kicked Iceman's ass in Guitar Hero and opened up the next level of tunes. :D  he has had his kids since Easter and will have them through the weekend.

I am kicking ass at work but it can get very frustrating at times.  Oh well, its a challenging job, better than being bored.

Wendy, sorry you weren't feeling so good, along with a few other GFs in here.  Lots of crap going around it seems.

BT, I hope you can chill out when things settle down.  So much stress in your life girl, but I know you WON'T break, you just won't, you're a trooper.

Queen, that sucks about your bff and #1 not cleaning.  You are so funny, when you type about giving #1 shit for not doing her part.  She always comes around, though.  Just tell her it tires you and its a waste of YOUR time for YOU to have to prod her ass to clean up, lmao!  Drag had a good idea about the chores board.  Maybe magnets on the fridge or something, a corkboard, just so there's a schedule?

Queen, you also cracked me up typing "rabbit ass" about Kevin.  I'll ask like someone else did, have you been seeing him?  I thought things faded over a week ago and then he shows up at your door, and you refused to talk to him?  Tell him if he wants to pay for a bride, eHarmony has a sale going on....$49.95 and you get the girl, LMAO!   ;D

All of my GFs I will be home this weekend so hopefully by sat night I can type.  I am going to the eye doc's and getting my pupils dilated for my diabetic eye exam.  Its long overdue from last year.  I'll look like Mighty Aphrodite for awhile, its pretty awesome, big ole eyeballs, lol.

More soon when I can remember what else to type about.  Oh yeah, I am breaking up with my bitch of an ID doc.  More on that this weekend.  I take better care of me than she does, lol.

She won't even see it coming, heh heh......

Going for labs tomorrow, and being off the pump is a real bitch, too, adjusting to two insulins as we speak, back to 6-8 injections a day.

The damn snow is back. And I am feeling like stir fried shit. I don't know what the hell is up with my stomach, it was hurting earlier, now it just feels queasy. My mouth has been dry as a desert, I am guessing this is happening from all the bullshit over the last few days. I haven't called my doctor, I have an appointment with him on the 7th of April, if things aren't better by then I'll whine..

Ms. Twice A Week (case manager) sent me some medical releases to sign and left a message that her and her Supervisor Sue( the one who has been ignoring my calls) wants to do a home visit. What the hell for? Not sure if I want to be ignorant or not. Maybe one or both of them is allergic to cats and that will keep them away.. ;) Did I mention Queen Nefertiti is preggers by my demon kitty Lucifer? Yep, it has happened and I am already making arrangements to get rid of the kittens once they are born and weaned and all. I pray to the Goddess she has a small litter but Lucifer still keeps trying to hump her.

Speaking of humpers...I swear I have not spoken to Kevin since I had my son pick me up from his house when he refused or tried to refuse to take me home cause I wouldn't give him no ass. I have not even seen him, will not go to the door when he comes here or anything. I don't know what his problem is, he act like he is poonani whipped and he never even got none. Witches Honor, My Word is bond or I swear... ;D

I thought I would stop through and write or a bit while watching American Gangster. A bit long but I like the movie. I had mentioned in my movie thread that my Uncle had worked for Frank Lucus but it was Bumpy Johnson, the guy Frank worked for, small world, I guess. But I will def add this movie to my collection with the rest of the gangster flicks I have and I have most of the classics...You know Scarface, King of NY, GoodFellas, Godfather, American Me, Blood In, Blood Out and the list goes on.

I'll get with you ladies later. hopefully I will be feeling better...

the day is about to start, at 10.00. My back hurts, Cin I am so glad you're finally solving the pain. yes there is a lot that conventional medicine can't do for us (not that we should abandon it). Queen, my take on the case manager situation, let them work for you, I mean let them help you with whatever they can and whatever you need, however little it is. Why not. Are you going to get your male cat fixed? You got 1 male and all these females so he'll be the one paying the price.... hope you feel better.
Snow, can't beleive you volunteer with all those kids and dogs on your hands! do you live with your SO. what a story with his daughter. WTF?! it's really scary where you live.

I'll come back later on a work break. I have a nice story to tell but no time to type it now. Get some good sleep all...

Morning ladies:

Snow, sorry about your SO's daughter.  Where I live, in the past 72 hours, there have been six shootings.  And in the past 11 days, 32 break-ins.  I live in a nice neighborhood (not dripping wealth or anything), but when the weather starts getting warmer, all the freaks come out.  I did get a lot of my apartment de-cluttered.  I took out a whole bag of trash from just the living area.

Cin, I am sooooo happy that your vertigo is almost 100% gone.  That must be such a relief.  Good luck with your eye exam.  I haven't gotten one for 2 years, so I suppose I'll make make an appointment in the next couple weeks.  Now, why exactly do you have to go off the pump?

Queen, since you have a collection of gangster movies, do you have the movie 'Colors?'  Have you seen it?  It came out in like late '88.  It's the first movie made about the Crips and Bloods.  It's an excellent movie.

Well, nothing on the slate for me today except homework.  I have a ton of homework to read.  And I have to figure out what to write a research paper on.  I think I might do it on the Branch Davidians (David Koresh's cult).  Does anyone remember that whole thing?

Also, Hillary Clinton is speaking at one of the city's high schools in a couple hours.  Bill Clinton and Chelsea were just at a local democratic club.  I think the reason they're focusing on here is because in my town is the hummer plant and they've had recent lay-offs.  Of course, that's just my speculation.  If I wasn't so lazy, I would go hear her.  I'm not a supporter of hers; I like Obama.  But, I think it would be interesting.

Other than that, nothing else planned.  I'm going to exercise this morning again. I'm bound and determined to exercise 5 days a week. Well, that's the plan now anyway.  Of course, that's subject to change.  Have a good one ladies-

Wish- I would be f-in pissed to.  What an ass!  The guy who infected me used to threaten to do that at my job but he never did.  Thank goodness.  I heard that you can file charges for him putting you out like that, especially at the job.  What the hell is he thinking, that is how your support his kids.  Fry his ass if you can.  Calm down before you go and report it and get your mind right so they will pay attention to what you are saying.  Go on-line and see if you have any lawyers in your area that work with people with Aids.  Make sure you write everything down and keep copies.  Good luck and let me know if I can help you with anything.

Betty- I love to throw stuff out when I clean, the more bags the better I feel :)  I do remember David Koresch, they have a few good documentaries on him.  It seems like when the weather gets better, instead of being outside and being happy, people are out and acting up.  Why is that?  We had shootings during the day around here, just crazy.

Drag- I volunteer for something to do, to get me out of the house.  I moved here 4 yrs ago but still don't know anyone in the area PLUS it makes me feel good to be able to help other people and take myself away from my own problems.  Just like anywhere you live, there are bad sections and she is putting herself out there hustling.  She had gone to school to become a CNA but the money wasn't quick enough if you know what I mean.  I hope your back feels better soon.

Cin-
That is great that the chiropractor is working out for you.  You must feel like a new person.

Queen- Stir fried shit?  LOL, that is a good one!  The home visit sounds kind of wierd to me too, what would be the purpose of that, being noisy, thats about it.

I got some sleep last night but my day did not start off well.  I have gotten yet another cold and was all stuffed up and had dry mouth this morning.  Before I could get upstairs to the bathroom, I started to cough and then gag, THEN I threw up and peed myself at the same time  :-[  The kegels are not helping, I guess :)

I hope everyone has a good day.  I am at the ASO and will check in later.

Wishful-I second everything Snowangel said.  Write everything down, keep copies, find a lawyer.  And yes, calm down before you go talk to the police.  They won't listen to people who are extremely upset.  I know this.  That really sucks the biggest dick I can think of.  I can't believe he did that.  What a motherfucking ass!  I would be sooooo pissed off.  I wonder if there's any legal charges that can be filed against him.  I am so, so sorry this happened to you.

Snow, well I lied.  We did get snow here yesterday.  When I was going to the ASO, it was raining.  Then, about 3:00 p.m., it turned to snow.  I got so disgusted, I closed all the drapes in my apartment.  But, it's supposed to get in the high 40's tomorrow, which should take care of it; and Sunday, in the 50's.  Today it's only in the 30's, but we do have sun.  That's the only redeeming factor.  Hey, that upper respiratory stuff isn't anything to fool around with.  Almost everyone I know has had a bout of that.  I did and it took me almost 3 weeks to get over.  Most people have to get an antibiotic.  Good luck with that.

Well ladies, I aired out my apartment to get the cigarette smoke smell out of it.  I'm not forcing myself to go outside if I want to smoke.  I cannot stand the smell of smoke.  So, hopefully this will help me to quit, or at least cut down a great deal.  I also hate smoker's cough, yellow nails etc.  Damn nicotine.

I hope everyone has a good afternoon.  I might be able to get some gas for that monster (car) today.  Yay!  Later-

Hello Ladies---

Damn Wishful, I would be pissed as hell too. I know how you feel though, my sisters outed me like that. I didn't know you could press charges on folks who did that but around here people or the police would act like my sisters did a public service. I think it is a crock, I haven't heard of anyone who got in trouble for outing a poz person.

I am pissed, the gas company sent me another bill instead of a termination notice. I don't even see how I am going to get crisis help because they only cover 500 and the bill is like 800 and something. By the time I get the termination notice, it will be way past a grand. They had told me previously that my budget plan would change next quarter which should be in April but the gas bill is showing estimates and not actual billing.

Snow-- Who is a SO? I see you keep using that word or term but doesn't know what it means.

Early evening ladies:

Queen, I believe an SO is a significant other.  Snow, correct me if I'm wrong.    I don't understand why the gas company isn't sending you a disconnect notice.  Maybe you should call them or something.  Show your ASO case manager and her supervisor when they come over.

Well, I just came in to see what was going on.  Where is everyone today?

So Ladies, I am feeling bad today cause I decided to do some sports to lose weight.

I have bought a sport equipment called LEG MAGIC, maybe some of you know it. It's for the whole legs muscles. You should do a 13min. programme guided through a DVD diary. I read about the programme and the equipment in several forums before, many girls said they couldn't get by the whole 13min. But I was ambitious and wanted to do the whole programme and did it.

So today I pay my bill, I can't hardly walk, I have got muscle ache in my whole legs and climbing up stairs is horrible.

But it seem to work, now I know how many muscles are there in my legs.

Pray for me that I can walk again tomorrow.

I will be a survivor and do it again tomorrow.

Hi Germangirl-
I have never heard of that before.  Glad you took a day off, you don't want to strain any of your muscles.  Personally, I need one that says " Abdominal Magic"  :)

(----------------------------Here is the latest pic of the trip  lets, I couldn't figure how to get it in the page itself.  My memory sucks these days.

Oh my gosh. Maybe you should work up to the 13 minute work out.
Start with maybe 5 minutes and work your way slowly up to 13.

Poor dear. LOL

I take 3 flights every day at work and somedays my legs scream "take the elevator bitch!"
I do take the elevator when I first get there but I go down with the dog and back up again with the dog. Then I take the stairs down again to go home.

That's usually the extent of my workout. Unless you count house work or grocery shopping.  ;D

Just checking in. Well, I give you ladies an A for effort when doing the exercise thing. I finally got my application to the Y from my sister but I am not going to be able to get that started til next month or May. On the few nice days we had, I left out walking and the walks were killer enough for me, I was feeling the burn. I get more active when it gets warmer. But I need something that is going to work on my tummy.

My stomach is going through something. I have been having harsh stomach cramps for the past few days. When I go to the bathroom, it helps some but then the cramps are still there. I have just been doing a lot of sleeping to avoid the pain but not sure what else I can do really. I don't know if it is because I haven't had any Pepsi for the past few days and have been drinking ice tea.

Betty, I have tried talking to the gas company before, they don't want to do anything and says I should wait til I get a termination notice. I think they are just hiking up the bill as much as they can because they know crisis will only pay up to 500. I am hoping that maybe my ASO will cover the rest but by the time they decide to give me a termination notice there might not be any money left in crisis. The way it is looking, I may not have any gas soon. It all just sucks, I have put in a few job applications around near my house to work part time, not sure what else I can do.

I guess that is it for me, I am off to watch wrestling....

Thats a big no-no in my book. I'd rather be told the truth and be dissapointed in the truth than be lied to just to figure it out later.

Thank you! Netta :)- There must be something in the air cuz all the men have lost thier damn minds. How hard is it to say    " Sorry, I am not going to be able to make it?"  I hate that crap.  Word is definately not bond anymore.
So glad to hear your friend is back from Bagdad, I hope it is for good.  I saw some documentary on HBO about the over-spending on the contracts companies like Haliburton are doing.  Totally ridiculous.....bag of laundry 99.00, if they don't have the right tire to fix a flat or a replacement part, they burn up the vehicle,  a car that would cost around $45,000 in the States , $250,000.  The spending has reached the billions, it is really sickening.

Win- I am with you, I hate to be let down, I rather know from the get go what your intentions are, then to have to use my psychic abiliites to figure them out.  It's better for your butt to take the stairs   ;)

Queen- Do you watch WWF? I have you seen the sport that is half boxing half wrestling.  I saw the previews and they were doing these funky pull ups with thier whole body off to the side like they weighed 2 lbs.

Betty- It snowed like an hour from here, it was just cold, raining and miserable here.  That is a good idea to try only smoking outside. My mother quit cold turkey because she was playing in a softball game and couldn't run at all, that was years ago.

I didn't do much today.  Dropped the kids off, went to my ASO, went home for a quick minute and then went and picked up the kids again.  The part of the school that the trip  lets go to is actually under the highway and 2 exits up from the school, a tanker blew up today. I dropped them off at 9:05 and the accident was at 9:38.  I Thank God, I was not on that road then and the kids were in the school.

I hope everyone has a great night!

Good late evening ladies:
Snow, I love the pic of the trips!  They are adorable.  You can be proud.

Netta, omg.  I hate when someone does that.  He should have been up front with you.  Well, I'm glad you get to go to VA in a week.  That should help.  Also glad your friend's back from Baghdad.

Queen, damn it.  Things seem desperate, but just hang in there.  I know what it feels like, believe me.  I am so, so sorry you're going through this, gf.  Really.  I'll send a lot of good thoughts your way.

TreDai, you found out on your wedding day your bf was cheating on you?!  I would have been extremely pissed.  Wow.  How are you doing with all that?  I'm glad you're with us.

Germangirl, I exactly how you feel, but my burn is in my stomach.  I started doing abdominal exercises and found out how out of shape I am.

Well, nothing earth-shattering going on.  It's been pretty quiet.  I watched a little t.v., but forgot all about reading some of my homework.  Oh well, I have until Tuesday  and only 2 1/2 more chapters to read.  I'm just going to have to force myself to do it.  Tomorrow I have to take some books back to the library, which are overdue.  I will probably pay them tomorrow so I can get another book to read before bed.  I hope you ladies all have a peaceful evening.  Hang tough, ladies, hang tough.

I am just sliding through before I get on Warcraft. Nice to meet you Tre and German. I noticed you guys have been posting. I didn't want you to think I didn't see you.Tre, you are better than me Netta, girl, if I could get paid for my writing or sense of humor, I would be like Dave Chappelle and say "I'm rich, bitch". But in reality I am just keep my head above water. I have applied for 2 PT jobs but am doubting I will hear back from them since I have no work history over the past 5 years of being on disability. I would've been pissed at dude too, the least he could've done was call. What an ass. At least your man in uniform is back and he can salute you.. ;) Hehe, I'm bad, I know. Someone has to be around here.

I hope my stomach feels better soon, if not, I think I may be taking a trip to the ER. This has been going on for 3 days now and I don't think it's a stomach virus. Not with the pain I am feeling..

Thanks for the concern, Netta. I did a little research tonight and saw the Poz article on Salmonella poisoning. I am going to call the ER tomorrow and will likely go. I just hope they don't have to stick nothing up my ass. I'm not thrilled about giving a specimen but if I have to I would rather do that then them going up my ass. If they put me asleep they can look all they want but I'm not with being awake, I get to nervous and start shaking. That happened to me the last time they did a colonoscopy on me which was a long time ago. I'll keep everyone updated...

Hola chikas,

Snow your Trips are adorable with a capital A. My BF said he'd like trips or twins. I wish i could choose then i'd press that button, as it is even getting 1 isn't going to smoothly.

I was upset last night cos if wishful, I know sh'll pull out of it and i know it reflects a lot worse on that wanker of an ex than on her, i should hope her collegues realize that, to me anyone sending out an email like that (whether true or not) screams wacko. I think if going to the police, she shouldn't even tell them if it's true or not, just speading romors about her to collegues via email, criminal as well as stupid.

TreDai you sound like someone who takes everything in her stride, good on you woman.

My back hurts... I'm going to try the gym today and hopefully it won't get any worse, yesterday one leg wwas toally cramped, I was limping, but for no reason, I am used to jogging and anyway haven't done that in days. I just woke up with it.

Queen hope you feel better soon, with your stomach.

Netta, if he is with someone, better a no-show than heartache... he should have told you though. Moron.

K everyone else have a great day, Cristy if you're checking pls give a sign of life.

Morning ladies,

Yes, I'm wondering about Cristy now also.  She pm'd me her phone # awhile back.  I'm going to search my pm's for it a little later and call her ass.  She was a regular poster and now nothing.  That has me a bit concerned.

Queen, I sure hope your stomach gets straightened out soon.  I don't know if they would stick anything up your hiney.  Maybe, like you said, a specimin, or an ultrasound of your tummy or the like.  I hate it when my stomach hurts.  You've been having diarrhea also?  Don't let that go.  I wouldn't want you to get dehydrated or anything.

Drag, good luck on getting pregnant.  I kind of remember like quite awhile ago when you started talking about it.

Well, the smoking outside thing was going fine until the weather got down into the 20's yesterday.  I cannot stand to freeze.  But, today it's supposed to be in the high 40's, so I'll try it again.  That'll make it easier to air the apartment out once again also.  I'm probably not going to exercise today.  It's the weekend.  If I start at it again on Monday, and do it 5 days a week, then I feel I'll be doing alright.  I'm not taking the Chantix anymore.  Every time I do, it makes everything I ingest nauseating.  So, if I do use anything again, I'll have to pay out-of-pocket for it.  My Medicare Part D plan doesn't cover patches, gum etc.  But, I guess if I count up how much I spend on cigarettes, the patches might be worth it again.  That's when I had the most success.  And there's no way I could smoke on the patches.  I tried that and threw up black shit (nicotine).  That was awful.

I'm off to check out a few threads and eat breakfast.  I'll check in later, I'm sure.  Have a good a.m. ladies and Queen, don't let this get out-of-hand!

The taxes are officially DONE! HALLELUJAH and kiss your mama!  All said and done, we only ended up owing the government $245.  Last year, we owed almost $1000.  The good thing is that we're e-filing our state taxes at the same time and we're due to get back close to $800.  So, we're still coming out ahead.  My cousin's little girl is having a birthday party today from 2 - 4, so we'll be heading that way about 1:30.

We found a new "issue" with #6.  Hubby and I were changing the screen on the laptop last night. The LCD cells in the other one cracked and bled. Not so unusual a thing, especially after being run over by the rocking chair.  Made it nearly impossible to see anything.  Anyway, after a month or so of that, he found a new screen on e-bay for a good price.  So, now I can see you all clearly and don't have to get a headache.  Ok, back to the point.  While hubby was putting all the teeny screws back in, i was holding the flashlight.  I put it down and #6 picked it up, put it right in her eyes and turned it on.  When I turned to take it away from her, I noticed that her pupils had not dilated!  I took the flashlight away and her pupils never changed size.  Now, I'm worried.  So, I do what any other normal mum would do - I line up the other kids to see what their pupils do.  Everyone else's dilated...her's never did.  I called the hospital line to see if the nurse could get us an appointment for Monday with the eye specialist.  She told me I'd have to call the doctor directly on Monday.  Maybe this will finallly get her in early.  I haven't tried again this morning, but I will after breakfast.

So, that's my lovely life.  I've been awake all of 45 minutes...lol!  It'll get more interesting as the day wares on, I'm sure.

Hello ladies. I am in good health but not in the best of spirit's so I have been quiet. Betty, you are still welcome to call me anytime.                 Not much going on. Just working and taking care of Robert.   We broke in his new fishing rod yesterday. We didn't catch anything but it was nice trying.                                                                              Sounds like there is a lot going on. Wishful, that is so fucked up that your ex did that to you.           Queen, hope you get to feeling better or go to the doctor.                               Dragonette, thanks for asking about me and I hope you stop being sore soon.                         MM, does # 6 get a lot of headaches?  That sounds serious, that her pupils don't dialate. Hope you get an appointment Monday.               Love ya'll, just being quiet. Sorry to have worried you but we are okay. Later, Cristy

I hoped to feel better today, unfortunately is still the same. I am getting old and I am out of shape too.

I know how you feel Betty, muscle ache in the stomach after abdominal exercises are even worse than the legs cause even laughing hurts.

I think I am going to be strong and use my horror machine again today.

Thinking of Netta's and Tre's story I remember a German song: Männer sind Schweine (Men are pigs).

It's truth. But not all men are like this, I have had luck, mine is different. ;D

Mum, I hope everything will turn out fine with #6. It's the little blonde one isn't it?

Cristy thanks for cruising by. It's good to know you're OK.

Queen I have had colonoscopy once... not fun. Hope it's just a bug that will pass soon.

Am thinking a lot about Tendai, today is the elections and I know she (as everyone else there) is at the end of her rope. I have been reading about it, on CNN, BBC and the Economist, no one knows what will happen, but everyone expects the elections to be rigged, and there has been a lot of bribing as well. Still opposition has never been stronger. I am praying and hoping.

Hey I have a nice little story from the other day. 2 nights ago my BF didn't come to dinner or call so I was a little pissed, I knew he was with 1 friend and then another though. He finally called around 21.30 when I had given up and ate by myself. Said he was sorry, but something came up. He came home and said that he went to pick an engagement ring with one of his friends. My BF takes 5 trips to buy anything that takes deciding (like a coat or a suit) so he just had a couple rings reserved, but the most amazing thing is that this friend was really happy for us, and after the picked the ring they went for coffee and the friend has told him that he was having a relationship for as long as we have, but with a man. I mean we kinda sorta guessed he was gay, but he had never mentioned it and never came out. I want to tell him I am poz, but I am scared of my reaction. I am really happy for this friend though, although his relationship is broken.

Am dying my hair, I do it at home too every month or so, cos my hair’s all gray, i remeber Wendy saying it's hormones going wack from HIV, but in my case I don’t think its HIV-related, cos my younger brother is just like me.

Wishful if you're reading this, you know the people who like and appreciate you won't be put off by this garbage. Tell them he's crazy, if they haven't figured it out themselves. I know it's difficult as hell, but hope you won't let this **** take away your peace of mind completely. You have a great relationship, great kids, he obviously has nothing much except the poison in his mind.

Not much going on today. My tummy doesn't hurt as bad as it did last night but it still feels like I have lumps on each side. Not sure what that is all about. I think I will just lay in bed all day. I don't even feel like playing my game today, I just want to sleep. Maybe later on I will still call the ER and see what they say. I still don't think it is a stomach virus but not sure what it is. I may not be saying much today but I'll be lurking around. Have a good one, ladies...

Hi GFs~

I had my pupils dilated this morning and I still look like Aphrodite.  I have my monitor set on 200% so I can read, moving the screen left to right, lol, but its still very difficult.  MM, I sure hope #6 is alright with the pupils staying constricted.  Even if #6 has very light-colored eyes they should dilate after removing the flashlight!  Please let us know what's going on ASAP.

Wishful~  I couldn't believe what I was reading about what your man did with the emailing to co-workers.  One word comes to mind (well, actually, a lot of words.....), he is IMMATURE.  I agree, others will look at him with disgust at what he did.

Welcome to Ten and German!

Hello to Tre~  Engaged two weeks ago and now this?  GF, you have seriously dodged a bullet!  Consider yourself lucky and reserve the right to be picky about your men!  We all deserve better than what we are dealt sometimes.....So, are you going thru a divorce?  Did you make it to the altar or did this happen beforehand?  So sorry about all of the crap.

Advice to all of us who are making an attempt at the dreaded exercise thing.  Take some ibuprofen BEFORE you workout and drink a huge glass of water when you're done.  Also, remember to stretch!  Even when you are stiff and sore the next day, just lay down on the floor on your back and make yourself as long as you can, while pointing and flexing your feet.  It will help stretch those sore tummy muscles and those leg muscles, without killing your back!  My exercise of late is popping Hershey's Miniatures and that's as far as I've gotten, lol.

Cristy~  SO GLAD to see you post.  I was skimming the other night and noticed I didn't see you anywhere.  I was concerned, too.  Don't be a stranger.  You know its all YOUR FAULT that these Dating Threads started!   :-*   ;)

Netta~  That stinks about your friend being MIA.  I wouldn't give him the time of day for a while.  Let him stew and wonder what's up when he can't reach YOU!  (Also, a little side note, when you type in all caps it means you're yelling!  LOL  ;)  )

Where is Camms?   :-\

BT~  Glad to hear you're trying to quit smoking.  Warm weather is coming, so the cold won't be around much longer to keep your ass inside.  Get that willpower going when you're ready and give it your all!  Oh, and you asked why I went off of the insulin pump?  Well, my new insurance "coverage" is 50% which translates to $500 every 3 months to stay on it.  NOT worth it at all to me, so I am back on injections.  The Humalog is the same insulin that was in my pump 24/7, and I am injecting it now, but the Humulin N (long-acting insulin) is a real bitch to regulate.  There is another 24-hour insulin that doesn't peak as much that I may try to go on in early May after I see my doctor.  I'll be OK, I have so much going on with my health that its a wonder I am still standing.  If people only knew how delicate my system was with all of this balancing shit....oh I could go on and on.

Snow~  I can hardly see and I can't scroll down to your post, lol.  I wanted to say hello, though.  I'll be posting more tonight when my eyes are back to normal, lol.

Drag~  Don't you worry about making babies, my goodness it WILL happen.  You'll have a bun in the oven sooner than you think!  I am very excited for you and your fiance.

Hello to Win, are you feeling any better?  I hope things are OK.  Has the weather been scorching hot where you are?  Didn't it hit close to 100 degrees a week or so ago?

Queen~  OK, so Lucifer and Nef are getting luckier than most of us in this thread.   :D  If you have all of those unspayed females, I would be careful.  I don't know what I would do with a bunch of kittens running around, even if just for a few weeks.  I wouldn't be able to afford to get their shots and all!  Sorry to hear about the gas bill fiasco.  Will it ever end?  I think its funny that you're giving Kevin the cold shoulder and he acts like he owns you.  What a humper, for sure.  Shake that one loose, GF, or give him a really high kick in his rabbitt ass!  :D  I hope your tummy calms down soon.  Its not good for anyone, much less a diabetic, to be so dehydrated.  That's why your mouth is prob dry, if you got the squirts.  Keep drinking water and sip on some chicken soup or broth.  Its MAGIC, no really.  Hey are you still on a holiday with your diabetic meds?  What ever happened with that?  Don't worry, I won't tell your doc.  ;)

More tonight when I don't look like a lizard.  I am so bug-eyed right now, lol!

OK, Control A then C, cause if I lose this post I will be pissed.

~ Cindy

Cindy-- If no one knew you got your eyes dilated, they would swear you were high off of something...lol..As for the cats, only 2 are females, the rest are boys. Once I get the car, we are hoping to find a vet who will give us a deal on getting all the boys fixed since it is cheaper to get them done than the females. Polly, the other female, fights off the boys when they want to mate but Queen Nef just got raped basically by Lucifer who hadn't seen poonani since he came out of his mother's. The rapist is still trying to nail her even though he knocked her up. I am hoping Nef will have a small litter but I have been finding homes for them now before they are even born. I will make some calls to pet stores to see if they need any kittens in the future. Some of the folks I have been talking to are hoping that Nef comes out with some kittens with 6 toes since Lucifer has 6.

I haven't had any squirts today but my mouth is still dry. I have been sipping on tea and has no soup around the house. I am hoping that things is getting better since my stomach hasn't been cramping today. It just seems like I want to sleep and I got up about 3 hours ago. I need a nap...

LMAO  I have almost wet my pants over here.  :D

Girll, do you have any boullion cubes to make broth with?  I'll go to Walmart and get you some, cause I have to drop off an order for new contact lenses anyway.   ;)

We found a new "issue" with #6.
Holy moly she must have angels following her around to show you stuff to help her.

Am dying my hair, I do it at home too every month or so, cos my hair’s all gray, i remeber Wendy saying it's hormones going wack from HIV, but in my case I don’t think its HIV-related, cos my younger brother is just like me.
Not my hair color. That's all genetics. All the women on my mothers side had all white hair by the time they where 40. Growing extra hairs on places they don't belong, that's hormones. LOL

Snow - your babies are gorgeous. I don't know if I'd have the energy to tackle three of the same age at once.

Wishful - good luck with the baby's daddy. Sucks when you cant have a civil relationship with someone for the sake of the kid. Too bad he is psycho.

Betty we smoke outside too. Unless its just too damn cold then I go in the garage with a space heater, crack the garage door and try to blow the smoke in that direction LOL

Cindy - No way LOL it hasn't been anywhere near 100 yet. Its not summer. Its 63 and Cloudy right now. This is the time of the year we get rained on a bunch.
Expected highs and lows for the next week are pretty average for this time of year.
67°F & 63°F Saturday      79°F & 67°F Monday
76°F & 61°F Tuesday    70°F & 54°F Wednesday

Queen - you sound dehydrated. You better take care of yourself.

Well, my ass is literally killing me. I got it in my head I was going to go in my garden and plant some bulbs. I squated in the garden for an hour or so and lord help my rear and thighs. It hurts to move LOL Maybe I shaved off some of that fat between my thighs that make them rub together LOL
The garden should look better in a few weeks though  ;D
I'm just putzing around the house today. I did go to work for a couple of hours this morning as usual. I went to the home depot and bought some garden soil to plant an elephant ear bulb in a large container I have. If it grows it should lend a tropical look to the pool area. We'll see.

Sorry Win, thought you were in Texas, lol!

Tre, I'm thinking just keep it pulled back, real smooth, but hey, I'm whitebread and can't get my slippery hair to do anything, lol!

:D

Ok, so this kid and his Dad have a portable basketball hoop in their backyard behind my house, a few houses down.

I am sick and tired of hearing the thunk thunk thunk every time the damn ball hits the backboard.  Do I call Homeowner's and bitch?  LOL  I have been in this hood 15 years, I feel I have squatting rights.

I hope it rains on them so they go inside   >:(  Yes, I'm evil, but I need my rest, too.  LOL  Its supposed to be a very cold night in Maryland tonight considering the nicer weather we've been having.  Down to 28 degrees tonight.  It will get cold and they'll go inside soon.  Or why don't they just go to the courts down the street already.....?  Ugh.

*snicker*snicker*

Hi Drag~  I always drive after getting my pupils dilated, just not on the highway.  I stay in town where the fastest I'll go is 25mph.  I make sure I'm safe.  Besides, I feel GREAT with no more vertigo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :)

Good evening ladies:

Mum, wow.  That poor little one.  I hope you can get into the eye doc's ASAP.  I would be concerned also.

Drag, that's a pretty cool story.  I'm sure when the time is right, you'll disclose your status to him. He'll probably be very accepting.

Cristy, it's sooo good to see you post.  I haven't called because I've been kind of busy with trying to get things straight since my dad passed.  But, I will call.  When you least expect it.  Please, please, take care of yourself.

Queen, I really hope your body is not getting worse.  Keep taking in those fluids.  Have you been able to eat anything?

Cin, hee hee.  I can just see you wandering around Wally world with dilated pupils.  You should laugh alot when you do, so people really think you're stoned.  I take Lantus insulin, the 24 hour one.  I also have Humulin R for when the sugar gets too high.  I used to take Novulin N, but that was twice a day vs. Lantus once a day.  I also take Glucophage 1000 mgs twice a day.  That's keeping my sugar pretty well controlled.  I can't imagine what your poor body's going through right now.  Please take care of yourself; I know you will.

Wendy, wow.  I wouldn't be able to squat for 1 minute, let alone an hour.  You must be so sore.

Wishful, glad you got a computer.  And I'm glad your bf is supportive.  That means a lot, doesn't it.

TreDai, you are a very attractive woman.  Screw the guy who was cheating on you.  I'm sure you can do better.  I wish I had some advice for you about your hair and your crown.  Sorry.

German, glad you're joining  us.

I'm wondering how Tendai is also.  I hope she can get some relief.  Just when we think we have it bad, imagine living in Zimbabwe in the horrific conditions she has to live in.  Now she is one tough bitch.

Well, today I had my oil changed.  I also got a new bedspread.  I had a goose down comforter and my cat had holes in it everywhere.  Feathers kept coming out and every time I got up in the morning, I had feathers stuck to my p.j.'s.  (Funny visual, eh).  Today was also Goodwill's 50% off day, so I got some summer tops.  I also got a Yankee candle.  I just love those.  I'm in for the night.  I rented 'American Gangster' so I'll be watching that in a little while.  I hope all you ladies have a good evening and please everyone, take care of yourselves!  I do not want to have to start kicking asses!

Sorry Win, thought you were in Texas, lol!

I am indeed in Texas. No tumble weeds. No desert and no cows or horses anywhere near where I live. LOL
And it is rare to see anyone in chaps unless you go to a rodeo or western wear store or possibly a gay bar.  ;D

I never made it to the ER but did talk to a nurse. It seems that she thinks I may have had food poisoning but since I'm not cramping as much as yesterday she thinks I made it through the worst of it. She told me to try to eat lightly and not heavy or greasy foods.

Woo Hoo, Wishful finally got a computer, good for you. Cindy, I have boullion cubes but that stuff tastes salty as hell.
And if your neighbors have their own basketball hoop, it is unlikely they are going to go to the court to play. You may have squatter's rights but it's going to look like you are hating on them.

Tre, nice pic but I am not sure what you are asking in regards to your hair. Betty, I have been eating but only like once, don't have much of an appetite and am scared that anything I may consume may cause me to cramp up again.

I know all I want to do is sleep with these tummy cramps I am having. Woo Hoo, I made the 100th post. Who is going to step up and start the next thread? Anyone will do. At the moment, I am just sitting here watching Queen of the Damned on Sci Fi. Ok, Betty, I see you on, so I am wondering how you liked American Gangster? I am a bit bored but not feeling up to playing my game at all. I slept most of today and got up around 8 pm or thereabouts but still feels like I could sleep even more.

Morning ladies:

Queen, I sure hope you're feeling back to your old self soon.  I loved 'American Gangster.'  I really like Denzel Washington.  He did a good movie called 'Hurricane.'  Did you see that one?  Oh, it's a must-see Denzel movie.  It's about the boxer, Ruben Carter, that got falsely charged with a triple murder.  It's a true story.  I need to buy it.   Anyway, I'm sure you are tired.  Your poor body has been through the ringer.  Maybe you should get some Gatorade and drink that to try to repenish what you've lost.

Netta, I love it when I see my grandkids.  They're so fun to watch.  Because we're only responsible to make them happy-nothing else.

Well, my sugar was pretty high this morning.  Most likely because of having a large coffee drink yesterday, along with Doritos last night.  The coffee was chilled.  It was called Banana Anna and it was made with coffee, dark chocolate and banana.  I'm sure that was loaded with sugar.  And Doritos always raise my blood sugar, probably from all the carbs.  But, I'll have those days I suppose.

I'm meeting my oldest sister at noon today for lunch at Bonnie Doone's.  Her 58th birthday is Monday and I have a present to give her.  (no, nothing nasty, har).  I got her a lb of Fannie May candy.  It's her absolute favorite, like it was my dad's.  Probably mine also.  It's better than Godiva (and Frango).   Then I have to do some grocery shopping and my brother is coming over tonight.  We're going to start watching 'The Wire' from season 1.  I never did watch it then, so it might be interesting.  Which reminds me, I need to cancel HBO.  I've heard some talk about 'The Tudors' on another pay channel. I wonder if it's too late to catch up on that.

Other than that, I should really read some of my homework.  Only two days until class I only have only read one 1/2 chapters.  You ladies have a good, safe, peaceful morning.  BTW, I started this thread, so someone else's turn.

TRE: My hubby is hairdresser, I asked him about your hair. But I don't get your question right. Do you want to know how to put the crown? He told me he has to see the crown to get an idea.

About Tendai: I have read that there are some rumors about manipulation regarding the election. Hope everything will pass well.

Betty, when did your father pass away? Sorry to hear this.

Sorry Ladies that I am unable to refer to all your stories, but there are so much information and I don't know all your stories very well. It's difficult to handle everything you post, above all English is not my language. But I am learning a lot here, thanks.
