Wants to travel to US from South Africa to find work - problem?
« on: February 25, 2008, 12:36:33 PM »
Hi,

My friend lives in South Africa  but want to get a job in US via an agency. Is it a problem going to work in US if you are HIV+.

Thanks,
Mark86

Mark, it's going to be a problem for your friend to even get in the US being HIV+.

That makes me angry. We were thinking of travelling to the USA this summer, my husband still does not take meds. Originally we wanted do visit a friend of mine, who lives there.

Our plan failed, if we want to go another time when my husband is on meds we can get problems. The US is one of the few countries that makes problems.

Mark, if your friend comes in cause he has no meds and they don`t discover his status, but wants to stay he has to make a test for the visa, with the positive resuld they`ll send him back.

Eres el aire que respiro,
Eres el compania de mi soledad,
Eres el luz que me ilumina,
Eres el camino en la oseuidad.
Dedicated to my husband

My husband is positive, I am negative.
