How Old Are You Ladies???
« on: February 24, 2008, 04:05:49 PM »
;D I just wanted to know how old you fellow pozzies are?  I know most women don't feel comfortable disclosing their true age.  At least, give us a ballpark figure such as (between 40-50 for example).  I'll start first...

I'm 33.  I won't turn 34 until November.

Sorry Annie - I was born in the 50s not the 40s but, hey, its close!!  I am 53 this year but still feel 25 except when I look in the mirror or see a photo of myself!  Its a shock to say the least!!  (How is it that when you are in your 20s/30s you have this image of being sophisticated and wise when you reach your 50s and then you reach your 50s and realise that its a big joke!)  I reckon if you aren't 'sophisticated and wordly wise' in your 30s then it just ain't going to happen!!! I am still the 'tom boy' I was born to be - short hair and trouser wearing bag lady that I am!  No french twists and high heels for me I'm afraid!!
Lots of love

Got me? I googled leet just to see what I'd get.

Definitions of Leet on the Web:

Subdivision of land in Kent, equivalent of a Hundred; see also rape.
www.domesdaybook.co.uk/glossary.html

Cool, neat. It is often spelled "1337." It is an abbreviation of "elite." It has become a derogatory term for someone who believes they ARE cool but in fact are not.
www.thehaus.net/dict.shtml

(often also Leetspeak, L33t, 1337, or l337) from the phonetic form of the word "elite", is a cipher, or novel form of English spelling. ...
dictionary.laborlawtalk.com/Leet

Leet or Leetspeak (often written in Leet as 1337 or 13375p34k) is a writing system used primarily on the Internet, but nowadays also in most online video games as well, which uses various combinations of alphanumerics to replace proper letters. ...
