20/20 What would you do?
« on: February 23, 2008, 02:23:11 PM »
Did anyone watch 20/20 last night?  They have a new series called "What would you do?" or something like that.
Last night they had 3 kids(actors) in a park vandalizing a car to see who would do what.

The first set of kids was white and ended up getting one call to the police and some people coming up to them to try to get them to stop.

The second set of kids were black and got a lot more people coming up to them and like 10 calls to the police.

The really interesting part was the one of the black kids had family waiting for him in the park in a different parking lot and they fell asleep in thier car.  They got 2 calls to the police.  They were supposedly laying low to rob a car???  WTF?  The kid was funny though, he said something like " Yeah, they called the police on them for sleeping while black!"  It is very sad in 2008 that this shit still goes on.  It amazes me sometimes just how much people suck!
Looks like it will be a good show, that will hopefully get some people thinking.

The vandalizing the car was staged, the sleeping in the car was not.  They were just waiting for one of the actors and fell asleep.
