Willard Marriot who???

Believe it or not, that's Mitt Romney's full given name.  He's named after his father and his father's best friend, the founder of Marriot hotels.  No earth shattering news, but I found it funny.

Hey Mum,

I can top that... I was named after two women!  My older brother was named after our fathers boss so Stanley Richardson (the boss) became Richard Stanley (my brother).

The wife of Stanley Richardson was properly named Michelle and commonly known as Mickie-  I had a first cousin who was named Ruby Jean, she has a daughter my age and was my mothers favorite niece so I was tagged with Michael Gene.

When we were little, our family was so poor, we could not afford nick names for all of us.  My older brother got called Butch and my younger sister was called Muff.  I'm ever so glad they couldn't afford a nick name for me but... If there was any question as to whether or not, I am gay... it's in the Genes  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
 ;D Have the best day
Michael

I talked about naming our kids after family, but they didnt' stand a chance.  My grandmothers: Doris Jean  and Geneva Earnestine.  Thier moms were Francine Maxine  and Rusha Ivajune.  The night I met hubby, I told him that I wasn't sure where things woud lead, but if things ever progressed and we had kids, his name would die with him - he has a girl's name.  We did name our youngest daughter after him, though  :D

No, she's #3 of 6.  She's our oldest daughter.
