Trials in SF Bay Area
« on: January 04, 2008, 09:23:06 PM »
I find the new clinicaltrials.gov site to be very difficult to navigate.  And as a result, I find it difficult to determine what studies are available.  The previous search engine was very easy.  You could just type in one word and any study with that word would show up.  But this is no longer the case with clinicaltrials.gov  My latest use of clinicaltrials.gov was a bit frustrating to say the least and I really don't know what is on the website.

I am in emergent need of help in getting enrolled in a clinical trials.  I have only 108 T-Cells at 8% and drug resistance.  One possible workable combination would be Tanox 355, Merck Integrase, TMC 125, Abacavir, Duranavir.  I have past high level resistance to NNRT and Abacavir.  Without Tanox 355, I probably won't get sustained viral supression.

Does anyone know the status of Tanox 355 as it relates to access  in the SF Bay Area?  About a month ago, I spoke to someone at Tanox about this and was told the trial was going to happen at Stanford and Quest Research in the Bay area.  But I never heard back from anyone.

 ???
