Been there done that..and until you have to suffer winter for 9 months of the year I refuse to sympathise with ya'll...now if you will excuse me I have to go and de-frost some steaks and crank up the BBQ, the weather is beautiful here.. :D ;)

For all you in areas where you're snowed in or where it's just plain cold... it's nice as can be here in South Eastern NC.  This whole week has been perfect.  It reminds me of Florida weather.  Yesterday was a record high at 79... the 'normal' high here is 60 this time of year.  It's been about 20 warmer at night, too.  As much as I don't like our hot summers or our coldish winters, it's days like this that make me glad to live here.  Of course, it's supposed to be getting colder again this weekend, but it's great while it lasts.  One problem - it's hard to get in the Christmas spirit and decorate when one's wearing shorts outside!   ;)
