The Queen and The Mouse -- Our Newest Bloggers!
« on: November 27, 2007, 01:32:24 PM »
I've got some very exciting news.  Michelle (Queen Akasha) and Jaser (Mouse) have agreed to join our team of bloggers!  We are thrilled to have their unique perspectives on living with HIV presented in the POZ Blogs.  Both are showing a tremendous amount of courage by writing about their lives for the large audience that reads our blogs on a regular basis.  We know from the feedback we get that the blogs touch the lives of many people, helping them to cope with similar circumstances and issues that the bloggers raise.

Michelle and Jaser have both posted their introductory entries, and you can read them using the following links:

http://blogs.poz.com/michelle

http://blogs.poz.com/jaser

I'm really looking forward to the written journey both of them are about to embark on.

Peter

Blog Tip:  many of our blog readers use the blog RSS feeds to quickly find out when each blogger posts a new entry.  If you have a browser with a built-in "feed reader", this is an easy way to follow our bloggers.

o noes... this should be amazing

definitely some unique perspectives to liven up that page

Blog Tip:  many of our blog readers use the blog RSS feeds to quickly find out when each blogger posts a new entry.  If you have a browser with a built-in "feed reader", this is an easy way to follow our bloggers.

Additionally, you can make use of an entirely separate application if you utilize a "news aggregator" on your computer.  If you have a large monitor for you computer, it's great to keep a browser open on one side and the aggregator on the other, and makes for very efficient intake of news while browsing the internet at the same time.  The "treatment news" section of aidsmeds/poz also has a very useful RSS feed.

If you're on a Mac I can recommend some free programs, and I'd figure someone knows of some for the PC/Windows platform.

Thanks Peter for giving me the opportunity to be a blogger. I am hoping it will be a form of release for me and also something helpful for others. Sort of like a fantastic journey....lmao...especially if I am partaking of the good green.. ;) And as many know around here, there is no telling what may come out of my mouth... ;D One thing I did want to mention if I may, at times, there are people's posts here that I may want to comment on in my blog. No, nothing scandalous or baiting but many have posted things which I could relate to. Just want to let you guys know that if I plan to give my take on anything you may say that I will come to you via PM and ask your permission.
I hope you enjoy my blog and wish you good reading....  ;D

17!  :D

Anyway, I'm really excited about this. It's been hard not to just tell everyone about it until it was announced. I have so much I want to write about and I just hope it's all interesting enough for everyone to read. I seriously can't wait. I'm gonna try and post a lot of pictures I take, too, so you guys can see some of the stuff I see everyday and all of that. I think it'll be really cool.

I'm also really excited that Queen has a blog, too. She's one of my favorite people here and it'll be cool to be able to hear more about what goes on in her life or whatever else she wants to blog about. I'm honored to have my blog announced at the same time as her. =D

That is a good idea about the posting pics of what you see. It was killing me too not saying anything to anyone. Like you, I am hoping I can keep people interested and have quite a bit to say too. I'll be checking out your blog too, Lil Mouse. I think you have a lot to deal with being young as you are. And I think you have a lot to offer. So I am just as honored as you... :-*

And I want to say thanks to everyone who is supporting us on this adventure. I was really nervous because I know everyone loves Mouse but I know I am not everyone's fave person. But as I like to say 2 tears in a bucket, motherfuck it. You can't please everyone. And my purpose of blogging is not to please everyone but if I am able to help just 1 then I am happy.
