Hello Everyone,

Here's my story.  I had protected sex with a woman 3 years, I found out the woman was positive later, but I know the condom did not break.  Did an an oraquick test a year later, came back negative, however I rubbed the pad on my tougne and check.  Now  a few months ago a female fingered me in the ass, and again I don't know if this can transmit HIV.  My question is am I worrying about nothing, should I put this out of my mind?  Was I at risk?

Yes you are worrying over nothing and no this is not a risk for HIV.

Please read the Welcome Thread and follow the lessons on how HIV is transmitted...this will not only help you to educate yourself it will put an end any needless worrying over an incident like this.

Thank you for the information you provided.  Knowledge is power, and unfortunately people like myself are uneducated when it comes to this disease state.  Thank you for the service you provide to all of us.

It's always a good idea to have regular check ups for full STD screening...and always use condoms for Vaginal/Anal Sex...NO EXCEPTIONS

I wasnt sure if I had done the oraquick test correctly because I rubbed the pad on my check and tougne.  However based on what I have read if I wore a condom during vaginal sex  and it didnt break I am okay.

Condoms provide very effective protection so you weren't at risk when you had intercourse.

Fingering is definitely not a risk for HIV transmission.

Your test result, not unsurprisingly, would be/was negative.

And yes, you are worrying needlessly.
