HIV Risk evaluation/differentia analysis
« on: November 23, 2007, 06:26:29 AM »
I am really going through tremendous amount of stress for past more then 2 years . Here is the details of my exposure.
I had vaginal sex with sex worker in May 2005 . The way it was started she gave me blowjob but i had condom on my penis  in about a minute or 2 i got ejaculated partially i remember for sure i had condom intact, i wanted to go for wash room but that stupid lady jump on me and took my penis inside i remember i verified by holding the base of condom it was all intact she gave me few jumps i would say for 30-45sec then suddenly pull herself out w/o had me hold the condom base , when she came out i saw the condom was hanging with her vagina , i am not sure it was removed while my penis was in or it was removed when she pulled herself but whole process didn't take more then 2 to 3 minutes which include blow job as well .After 3 weeks i had outbreak in my lips which if i remember correctly i had similar out break in past as well so that should not be from that incident .
I didn't have sex with anyone accept with my wife and even till now only with my wife no other person i had sex , that incident is killing . My guilt , stress is too much i really don't want to ruin my family life.
In May 2006 i had fatigue /eye floaters/tingling and numbness after multiple test my Neuro diagnose Hypothyroid and those symptoms are closely related to it. I started Anti depressant (Cymbalta) in last year Dec which helped me some extend but now in last 2 months i slowly taper down cymbalta and since one month no more cymbalta . I started to have lots of withdrawal symptoms according to my doctor those are related to it . Like muscles pain/weakness , fatigue dizziness and joint /bone pain.
Please evaluate my whole exposure and give me advice . Do i have risk, if  i do chances to get HIV in only one incident.

This forum is awesome , i get an answer within no time. Thanks . Would that be possible condom slip inside her vagina as i had ejaculate partially before she jump on me.
Let's say that lady is HIV+ which i hope not but chances are high as she is sex worker and most likely from fareast some where although the incident occur in Bay area /CA, What are the chances to get HIV Virus from her in 30-45 sec of brief exposure  which could be possible she didn't even leak. As know before she jump on me i had lost some extend of my errection as i did ejaculate some extend. I hope she gave me quality condom also .
My current symptoms .

Fatigue /white coated tongue which i scrap it got clean and it could be because of dry mouth which are side effects of Thyroid medicine /Alluporunol, muscles pain/dizzyness /headache light headness According to my doctor my thryoid level is little off based on Yestarday resuly my TSH is 0.407 which is in the side of Hyper and fatigue are symptoms of those too.
Please help me reduce my stress by doing some differential analysis on my exposure .

Symptoms or lack of are no indication of HIV. You didn't have a risk.

Thanks again for your reply . How can you be so sure i didn't have risk please elaborate you answer , sorry i don't want to offend you by any means. I am just stressing out day by day by just thinking about that incident . Can it be possible to get auto-immune disease like Hashimotos because of HIV infection ? i diagnose auto immune disorder in May 2006 right after one year of my incident. My CBC count is normal in last 1 year it was done about 10 times  I gain weight around 20 pond since 6 months which could be because of Thyroid. Is muscles/joint pain /cramp /bad temperament/lack of concentration can be because of HIV ? or it is hard to get those symptoms in early stage like just in 2 years.

Please help me out . based on your answer i don't even need a test  it will be waste of money . Please evaluate my exposure in the dorm differential analysis as you guys going through these things every day . Please help me

You didn't have a risk. PERIOD.. We don't do symptoms on this forum. HIV has no specific symptoms. Hashimotos has nothing to do with HIV or does it increase the window period. No, you don't need to test.

So that means there is no ifs and buts here . My wife want to conceive for a child and pushing her because of that incident . There is no way i can get HIV even if condom slip inside her vagina rather when she pulling her  but again i think if that is the case why the condom hanging with her vagina . Please evaluate this scenario for me , what are the chances .
