Im a tad worried
« on: November 05, 2007, 09:20:46 PM »
Hello lads well i've just read the posting guidelines and read a couple links in here about jimmies(Condoms) and It did make me feel tad betta and i know it's not who you sleep with but what risk you decide to take as well, but I must admit I am still concerned how safe is protected sex with a condom?. If my condom did not break nor did it slip off can i trully be safe to say that I am in the clear?. I was not wasted I remember my incident very clear, protected sex , protected oral. The reason I am worried is because i woke up the day after the incident with some itchyness around my anal area sort of like little bumps and bother mostly at night. It's been about a month since my incident. I work at a call center and my mother says it could be the heat? maybe from sitting down all day?. It's always humid here, Is it possible that I couldof gotten scabies? or crabs? maybe?. How safe is it to  say im ok as far as HIV is concerned? a little help lads please?. Does it matter what brand of latex condom i used?. I bought those individual ones there are like 1 buck 50. It wasnt trojab nor durex? does that matter as well. The most clear visual i have in my mind is no breakage i remember me pulling the condom off and hearing that sorta light snappy noise it makes when you take it off as well and i did ejaculate in it and saw it as well? Do help me out here lads please i will not bug anyone after my assessment.

Good to know you wore a condom. They provide very effective protection against HIV transmission. And you can assume it was latex because the lambskin ones are more expensive.

As for your various symptoms, I suggest you discuss them with your doctor. We can't diagnose anything here. I can tell you that other STDs are much easier to pick up than HIV. But your symptoms are not necessarily STD-related. So stop guessing (and itching) and get yourself checked out.

What we can tell you with assurance is that it's not about HIV.

Cheers,

Mate you most defintely set my mind at ease well i am positive it was latex because I read it on the label, it just wasnt your typical trojan brand or durex but it was latex which is why I brought up the question about it it had like some little crown on it lol.

Brother, the most important thing with latex condoms is not really the brand, but that they're in date and have been stored properly.

And before you say "shit, I didn't check those" let me reassure you. When frangers fail they do so spectacularly, ie they totally shred. You'll know about it. Given this didn't happen to you, we can be sure the condom did it's job.

Best regards,

MtD

Well mate It sure does make sense what you're saying, and as far as where I bought the condom it was like at one of those quickie marts/gasoline stations kinda thing. I don't think they would sell expired ones, but rest assured mines didn't blow(Heavens God). The confusion with many of my lads is when lads say that a condom is expired they automatically believe HIV will seep in throught the latex because it's expired. Foolish really but thanks for clearing that up lad expiration dates revolve around breakeage risks. And as i stated i clearly remember snap it off well not literally but you experts know what i mean.

You had protected intercourse. You were not at risk for transmission. Whatever the white substance doesn't change that you had protected sex. The condom was intact and you would certainly have known if it wasn't.

There's no need for testing nor for further concern about this incident.

Thanks mates well I was just scared it could of been her vaginal secretions since they look sorta like semen but kinda thicker. And the whole foreskin thing with me being uncircumsized.

Brother,

Given that you're not cut (I'm guessing you're English or some kind of Brit) I suspect the white stuff was good old smegma. The white cheesy slightly fishy smelling substances that hoodies produce under their foreskins as a lubricant. It's normal, natural and stops your skin irritating your knob.

You don't have HIV.
