A Night At the Ballet
« on: November 05, 2007, 09:13:08 AM »
This past Saturday...the season began with a one night only
New York City Ballet Group dancing for us in Mobile....
Nothing like a bunch of guys in tights to make an old man smile.

(It took all weekend to wipe the smile off my face) ::)

I remember back in the day my friend Steve and I used to hit up the titty bar for lunch.  They had a pretty decent buffet there, lasagna, caesar salad, garlic bread, wings, etc...  We were working as day camp counsellors at the time for kids aged 5 to 12.  Kids are stressful, nothing a few dances and some hot wings can't fix.  We even ran into one of this kids mom's once! (she was a peeler as well as a coke pig, her husband was H.A.)  Anyways, we always referred to the titty bar as "the ballet" Saw many a fine French Canadian Ballerina grace the stage at Fanny's...  oh the memories of being underage and having fake ID...
A social critic who promotes equality...
