I just had my flu shot this Monday. I will be going to Belgium on the 1st of November & will stay for 28 days & then will return on the 26th Dec until the week after New Years. Since this is during the flu season should I get a flu shot while I am in Europe? Is there a difference between the 2 shots or are they the same?

The basis for the formulation of each year's flu vaccines are the annual WHO recommendations - for either the Northern or Southern Hemisphere - so the 2007-2008 season (Northern Hemisphere) formualtions for the USA and Europe should therefore be fundamentally the same .. but both are different from either the 2007 or 2008 seasons (Southern Hemisphere) vaccine formulations, so you only ever really need to worry about this if you travel between Northern and Southern hemispheres.

The only difference Dan, is the language printed on the bottle. Contents are the same.
