Cosmic sign, or just BS?
« on: October 11, 2007, 10:44:45 AM »
As I sit here and look at my (no longer valid) health insurance cards, I have to wonder...   Is it a cosmic sign, or bureaucratic bullshit?

Over the years I’ve seen many doctors --many of which you had to light a fire under their ass to get them to do anything, or take me seriously….although, I did have health coverage!

After only three visits with my ID, my schedule suddenly fills with MRI’s, catscans, and HIV meds.  You’re probably wondering where’s the problem?
Well, after everyone points the finger at someone else, the transfer paperwork for my insurance was never completed at the great dome in the sky…   our state capital.
The scans will have to wait-

Given my counts, I’ve been somewhat undecided about starting meds.  After taking the advice of my ID, I gave in to the idea of beginning meds.
All is not lost -   I still have my DAP card...   I’ll start my meds and get my cat and mri re-scheduled asap...

I stop at the (less then) friendly Walmart to pick up my meds last night….my DAP card was canceled on Oct. 5.

I have to wonder...  is someone higher trying to tell me something?

Should I wait to start meds?
Should I stick it to the (less then) friendly Walmart, and stiff them with the $2500 in drugs that I inconvenienced them to order?
Or maybe DAP knows something I don’t…am I cured?

Just bitching..    thanks for reading...

Hmmm, well friend after lookin at your profile to get some info about you (which is minimal at best) you are at that borderline area with your CD4's as of Oct 7....some will say wait til the next go round or even maybe two more sets of bloodwork unless the trend is still downward on the next one and they are really low.  Im not much of an expert.
