Turned the Furnace On Today
« on: September 18, 2007, 11:17:07 AM »
Summer really is over, slightly ahead of schedule. Overnight temps went down to about 9, enough to make the house chilly when I woke up, so on went the furnace.

I've always hated this time of year, as summer slips away the days get shorter and the rains come.  :(

I really miss living in warm tropical places where no house has a heat source... I would trade the building gently swaying in the Trade Winds over a warm fire any day.  Now, I must be reminded to order a years supply of wood this week.  Have the best day

I absolutely love it when it starts getting chilly.  The damp hot summers here in NC really suck.  It's hard for me to breath, I'm always sweating, etc.  Although I was only there 6 days, I really got spoiled by the weather in San Francisco.  It's too bad housing is so expensive there, 'cause I would be happy to deal with that climate.
