Something To Ponder part 2
« on: August 02, 2007, 11:23:27 AM »
I am trying to understand more about HIV/AIDS through speaking with people living with the disease , I have done much research into how the virus reproduces and what is avalable inregards to treatment and how it works . Alas I am no scientist but I do some critical thinking on my own ,I guess you can say I am trying to connect the dots on my own ,But  knowling  know that HIV is more ocmplicated then just simple "figuring it out " but here  is my question If the  currlently avalible anti-viral treatment helps stop HIV from reproducing and infecting cells how come the remanding whiteblood and CD4 cell wont take over and try to get rid of the virus and clear the body of the virus ? and What happenes to the HIV cells that arent able to reproduce ,Dont normally cells die off when they are able to function ? Red blood cells do that once they die off they are regenerated wouldnt that happen to the whiteblood cells and CD4 cells ? , I come to figure that HIv replicates its self so fast that the body does not have the ability to regerate as quickly . well here are my findings ,basic as they are are what are your opiionos about this I would love to hear from you guys
