RIP Lady Bird Johnson

I'm watching C-Span coverage of the funeral for Claudia Alta Taylor Johnson, a truly gracious first lady.

Rest In Peace, dear lady.

I watched the services also on C-SPAN (despite the technical difficulties.)  She was a wonderful and courageous person.  I was glad to see both Mrs. Bushes, the Clintons, Carters, Mrs. Reagan, Susan Ford Bales, and Tricia Nixon Cox in attendance to pay their respects.

I didn't watch the service but the lady was a most gracious and amazing woman.
If I wore a hat (and I don'f usually) I'd take it off to her.  Texas Style...

She was a great lady and she will be missed.  Indeed Lady Bird....Rest in Peace!

I sure did admire her.  I feel she never was recognized for her real worth.  She followed in the limelight of Jackie Kennedy, and was kept out of any prominence by her husband LBJ.....who was a bit of a misogynist I think.
