adfj;skdf wtf do I do.
« on: June 28, 2007, 12:54:01 AM »
Long story short, Seth brought a friend to our youth group thing tonight. A really sweet boy named Mike. He's very very very cute.

I noticed him looking at me right away as I was kind of staring too. =/ We flirted. And stuff. And. LSKfj;lsd. I didn't realize Seth liked him. I didn't. I swear. Mike wound up getting a ride home with me. We held hands on the way to his house in the car. I walked him to his door and we kissed. For a while. Long kiss.

And we have plans for a date tomorrow night. Movies or dinner or something. Idk. It's not a huge deal, but I think he's cute, and I wanted to go out with him tomorrow to get to know him better.

I got online and Seth messaged me. And I told Seth about it, and apparently Seth has this huge ass crush on him that I didn't know about. =/ But obviously Mike isn't interested in him. He's interested in me. Seth is all upset andasl;2fj;fk because he likes this boy. He keeps saying he's upset, but not at me, but I can tell he's upset at me.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. If I cancel this with Mike, he's not going to date Seth, so we both wind up date-less. If I don't cancel this with Mike, I get a nice date with a cute boy, but Seth gets upset. Maybe Seth will be upset either way because Mike just isn't going to go for him.

WHAT. DO. I DO. OMGGG. DRAMA. ASDKF.

If it was me and I knew that going out with Mike was going to hurt one of my friends, I would probably back off.  But that would be taking into account that we had only just met and not really got to know him.

I tend to think that I need friends around more than boyfriends, but that maybe just me.

Cute boys are a dime a dozen.  Don't put strain on a friendship because your dick tells you to.

I agree with the rest.  I would rather have friends than a boyfriend.

I agree with this in the cases with most friends.....

but then there are some queer friends that have a crush on anyone so if you go out with anyone they get pissed saying "i saw them first"...i have this happen with a friend of mine that we go out clubbing on occasion and he says "hes cute, that ones cute, i like that one too" and if i go up to any one of them then i get crucified and he gets mad because he "liked" that one.....so if your friend has a genuine crush on the guy that has been ongoing and more than a 24 hour crush then id let it go, but if he has a crush on the boy and only like him because hes "cute" then talk to your friend and explain like i had to do...

Edited: because i dont really like the word fag..

Try going to Seth, face to face, and tell him that you would like to date the guy, but you prefer to keep Seth as your friend, so will not date the other guy. Perhaps Seth will tell you to go ahead and have the date.
