Pedro,

Welcome to the forums. Using all capital letters when posting is considered shouting babe, so you might like to turn it down a notch.

If you don't care for your current doctors advice, you should seek the opinion of another doctor. By the way, are you HIV positive?

Oh man... I had one of those once, and before I was hiv. It was the worst pain. It started one February many many years ago. I had really awful pain every day. I went to doctors and they did tests. They wanted to eliminate things like cancer and the like. All the tests were fine and normal. So they would say "well its not cancer", or say its not this or that. But they never knew what it was, why I was having so much pain. This nightmare lasted nine months. I lost a lot of weight due to daily pain, and the doctors could find no cause or reason. It was awful.
Then I finally started from scratch and started with the doctors again. They just offered an explore surgery to see what was going on with me. That idea of explore surgery freaked me out and JUST...just by luck I noticed a local doctor in colon-rectal area that I had never seen before. I went to him. He was an old old guy but knew his stuff. He visually examined me for just 5 minutes and seen the problem RIGHT AWAY. He not only told me what was going on, but how he would fix it and how long I'd be off work to recover.
He was right on with everything. All went exactly as he said, and within 2 weeks after surgery I was "CURED". No pain at all.
I could have kissed him and given him everything I had for his service. And I realized how ALL the other doctors were so so so incompetent. It really put me in shock, anger and just total hate of all those QUACKS that could never find the problem, a fissure.
From that point on I knew it really matters what doctor you see. And how hard it is to find a good one.
As to your question, Id think you would feel much better after a few weeks. But if its been longer, Id keep pressing the doctor(s) that you still dont feel right. Maybe get a second opinion from a different doctor is it comes to that. I hope you feel better soon. I know what you are going thru.
