do you wear your hair on the longer side or is it cropped short?   not sure if thats you in the avatar.
What do you hate most about having to get it cut?  Setting the time aside or you hate having tiny hairs all over you and your clothes until you shower?

My ASO offers free haircuts on a rationed basis to save pozzies money. But I heard they don't style, they just buzz, yikes. So I stick with my usual haircutter, a local woman who knows that my head has a unique shape and requires a very specific style or else. I get nervous if anyone else cuts my hair

i just hate the whole ritual of it all. I've had my hair long, short, cropped, shaved, bleached, dyed. currently my hair style is a bit longer than i have been keeping it so when it gets over due you can really tell. selfconscience about lame stuff. but it's annoying sitting there in the chair and itchy and...i hate it. i'd grow dreadlocks but my boyfriend wont let me.

I've no complaints about your head!  But seriously, I was an outlaw hair designer in high school, and I think you should give a stylist three chances. If they don't have it right by then, don't go back!

I was never a big one haircuts.  I didn't get my first
"professional" haircut until I was in the 8th grade when I got to go to the barber for the 1st time.  Up to then, my father cut my hair and more often than not, the littlethingamajig would alwayas fall off and I'd get a bald spot.

I was never really pleased with the barber.  He wasn't all he was cracked up to be.  None of them are.

These days Michael cuts my hair.  He's legally blind but he gets more pleasure from cutting my hair than I could ever get from having some hotdog stylist doing my do.

I'm considering shaving my head for the first time.

I shaved my head about two years ago.  Looked like a had cancer until I grew a slight suggestion of a goatee.  Then it was ON.  I had a look.  As I drove through the mountains, all the hottie boys in the hills would give me the slight nod regard of the head and the little index finger wave to say hello.  They clearly took me as one of their own.  They had no clue I was some little queen who was lusting after them all.  It worked equally well in midtown at places like the Heretic and the Eagle.  Circuit bars...not so much.  My look can change drastically with just slight adjustments of hair style or face fur- and I can grow that stuff lickety-split.  You'd be suprised how man-style this boy can look.

I got tired of spending money on haircuts, and bought some clippers... I buzz it myself EVERY TWO WEEKS. because it grows quickly.

It looks better buzzed than shaved I have a tendency of developing ingrown hairs when I shave my scalp with a razor.

yay!

I hate haircuts, too. I find the whole sitting in front of a mirror making small talk with someone I hardly know te be really hard work.
For this reason, I had the same girlfriend cut my hair for about 15 years. She left recently so I've had to find someone new. I've found a guy who gives a nice haircut, but he hasn't figured out I'm gay yet so he keeps asking about girls and girlfriends. I'll give him one more chance.

I feel your pain brother.  My hair grows at an UNBELIEVABLE rate.

I think this time I am going to go blonde!  Its summer, and it sounds fun.  So I figure WHY NOT!

Number one buzz all over baby.  Get it done once a week!  Everyone says I look good this way, it is easy, cheap and gets me laid.  Why complain?  Now if I could get rid fo the back hair....

I am getting my haircut tomorrow.  I haven't had it done in months and it's getting itchy as it gets longer.  My hair is terrible.  It's thick, coarse and in the words of Don Imus "nappy"  It grows out into a giant afro, which is pretty good for a white dude, but I miss having it cut short and not having to do anything to it!  I'm stoked.

Goodbye; ugly, long, curly, thick, coarse, nappy hair!  Hello short and easy to manage summer hair!

I love my barber. She's a fine turkish lady in her 40's with a tiny salon just around the corner from my apartment. Whenever I have a date with her (around 4-weekish), I tell her I want a tasty haircut and that's what I get. Buzzed around the neck and the ears, cut on top, just long enough to do some daily styling, usually creating kinda spikes with wax. Funnily, my haircut looks much like the haircut of her own two 20ish-years-old boys but I don't complain, they're hot. Did I mention I like body hair?

About 4-5 years ago, there was an April Fool's edition of HX or Next mag (gay rag in NYC) that had among it's joke an article about how chest hair was back in vogue and how all these gay boys were spending thousands of dollars on a procedure to reverse the electrolysis they had done for the smooth boys only period of their lives...

The article wasn't as funny though as my friend...who thought it was legitimate and asked us if any of us knew where  he could go to and get it done.

I disagree.  Too much rampant bush looks messy to me.

Not to mention it tends to get caught in my teeth a lot, and I'd rather stick with floss over follicles.

I manscape once a week unless I am hooking up or going out with the chance I will hook up, then I do a little touch up work.  I am currently looking into laser hair removal for my back, buttocks, shoulders and sack.  There is a commercial on the radio right now that says "men, ladies do not like grass on the playing field, get your back done and we will do your sack for free".  It is for a laser hair removal clinic.  The first time I heard it, I almost drove off the road because I was laughing so hard.  I am actually going there for a consult after I have healed from butt hole surgery.

I think I saw that type of laser hair removal in a James Bond movie.

It is for a laser hair removal clinic.

Word of caution.  Laser hair removal only works on certain types of hair.  The darker the hair the better the laser will work.  Be sure to get a guarantee since they may not disclose this tidbit to you.  A friend of mine (not me) did this and had really poor results since his body hair was so light in color.
