I became a Granddad this morning!!!

Hi All,
        I just wanted to share my wonderful news with all of you at POZ.
My Daughter had a 8.5lb baby boy this morning. He is healthy and has all 10 fingers and toes. New Life!! What A Joy!! Love to you all, Rick

Congratulations Rick...I have 7 grandsons and 2 granddaughters and every one of them is a blessing..I know you will enjoy being a grandad...we get to do things that Mums and Dads don't always approve of, but we can get away with it... ;) :D

Current Meds ; Viramune, Epzicom, 40mg of simvastatin, 25 mg of Hydrochlorothiazide.
Metoprolol tartrate 25mg






Diagnosed positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 As of 9/16/16,  t-cells are at 501,   Viral load remains <40

Current % is at 12%

 65 years young.

That's great news Rick!  Congratulations !

What's the baby going to call you?   Grandaddy?  Grandpa?  Papa?   My brother's grandkids call him Papa, and I think it is so sweet...

Congratulations Rick!!

Grandkids are even more fun then kids... you get to have all the good stuff and none of the bad.  You can spoil them to your heart's content.  I have 3 and there is nothing I love more than to see them enjoying life and being amazed at every "new" thing they discover!
