My pills
« on: April 05, 2007, 08:03:07 PM »
Here are the pills I take each day:

Top group - with breakfast:
Prezista (two salmon colored), Norvir (oval white), Merck Integrase Inhibitor (oval purple), Glyburide (small round green), Zoloft (oval yellow), Avandia (small pink pentagon), aspirin (white round)

Bottom right - with dinner:
8 pm: Prezista (2), Norvir, Merck Integrase Inhibitor

Bottom left - at bedtime:
Sustiva (yellow oval), Trazodone (2 round white), Septra (half a double-strength), Lipitor (small oval white)

Not sure why I'm posting this; just fooling around with my new digital camera.

Allan

Allan

Looks like some sort of futuristic buffet.  (Think Jetsons).  ;D

But it also reminds me of just what an ordeal our pill regimens can be.  Lordy that's a lot!

I think this post should actually be in Living with HIV, seriously. It's interesting for us that are not on meds yet to see what we're up for. I hope people won't post everything in off topic just because there is a pic or they fear reprimand.

I did want to post this in the "Living With" forum," but decided to abide by the request not to post pictures there. (Sometimes I can be a real wimp!)

I'm so used to taking lots of pills that I no longer regard it as a burden. Each group of pills goes down with one gulp. I think it's a lot easier, for example, than having to inject insulin several times a day. The only burden is keeping track of when I need to contact my doctor's office when the refills are about to run out.

Ann or another moderator: if you think this thread should be in the "Living With" forum, please move it.
