Are u with Martha Stewart or Rachel Ray?
« on: March 24, 2007, 10:33:53 PM »
Here in NY at 10 am they show both shows, Rachel Ray show and Martha Stewart.

Mind you I've never cared about Martha Stewart until Rachel Ray came out with her own TV show. I find Rachel Ray to be very annoying, she doesn't know how to measure her ingredients, she has a loud annoying voice, she rushes things, she makes the same foods over and over (pasta, maccaroni, grilled chicken and tomatoe sauce) and she is always jolly.

Martha Stewart looks like she could cut your throat with her eyes but at least she is well poised, organized and knows what she is doing. I like Martha Stewart and can NOT stand Rachel Ray.

Whose with me?

Agree...

I'm more familiar with Ray's "Thirty Minute Meals."  Basically she cooks chicken breasts and a lot of other stuff is semi pre-prepared ("always use a little help from the store" she chortles.)
That hopping around the kitchen like a rabbit in those skintight jeans...and the baby talk...she needs to be on Paxil or something.  By the time she loads everything with tons of garlic, onion, peppers...yuck.  I guess children find her entertaining.

I think Rachel Ray is already on something.  I can't stand her cooking shows since she uses ingredients not always available in the everyday grocery store.  Not everyone has shoppers who roam NYC for items.

I like Martha because we know she's not perfect, just thinks she is.

I ALWAYS root for the underdog...and in this case its Rachael.  I saw her show a couple of times but didnt find her as annoying as you guys.  Martha Stewart reminds me of the 90's.  Or maybe of the 80's....when women tended to look down on men ...just because.

Sorry, I don't like Martha, her voice gets on my nerves. I am a Food Network junkie so I will go with Rachel Ray..I don't like everything she makes though. If I had my choice, it would be Cat Cora!!!!

I like them both. But Paula, on the Food Network is my favorite. Really I like anyone that can cook. When the BBQ shows start running, that's where you'll find me with my pad and pencil.  ;)

Rachel Ray says, "Hold the herbs with your knuckles so you don't cut your fingers."

Martha Stewart says, "Slow down on the wine as well as the slicing and you won't be a danger to yourself."

Have you ever tried to make some of the shit that Martha comes up with???  I did once.  and though I followed her recipe to perfection, the food tasted like shit.

Martha Stewart is too faggy for even me.

I've never seen Rachel Ray, but she has to be better than Martha.

I liked Rachel Ray when she first appeared on the Food Network.  Now though, she has three shows on there.  And a talk show on regular TV.  And a magazine.  And a line of olive oil.  And a line of cookware.  I can't look anywhere and not see that grin.

Talk about overexposure.  The woman is the Seka of cooking.  I agree with AC though, she IS kinda hot.

Martha, well, she's just the queen bitch from hell.

I vote for Paula.  THAT woman can COOK !!

Is Paula the big lady with the white hair with the Texan accent who is always baking or cooking fatty foods for her sons?
