Surprising results tonight on American Idol results show
« on: March 08, 2007, 09:35:44 PM »
So disappointed that Sabrina didn't make the top 12 - how did Haley make it through? I don't get that at all!!

I know lots of people don't like Sanjaya, I do; I don't like Sundance, so I was happy to see him go.

Surprised it was Jared, I thought it would be Brandon who would go.

Antonia was the only non-surprise for me.

yes, she was the only non-surprise for me too.   The rest, I didn't expect to go...

I'm not that wild about Carrie Underwood's new song, but I do like her.

I hope Melinda wins A.I.

Ditto!

Sundance wasn't my favorite but much better than hula girl Sonjaya
Surprised it was Jared, I thought it would be Brandon who would go.
Heck Jared was even better than Sanjaya!

I very well may boycott the show this year.  Haley and Sweet and Low make it through?  UN FUCKING BELIEVABLE!  This year sucks ass.

Sabrina's departure was a pile of horse shit.  I couldn't believe it.  When she and Hailey walked up, I was like, well duh, this is a no brainer...and then they said she was out.  She was SO much better.

Melinda sounds pretty good.  There is just something about her that gets under my skin a bit, though.  Don't know what it is.

And then the whole Sanjaya fiasco...are they kidding with that mess?  Good lord.

I agree Alan, wasn't that crazy about Carrie's song, and what the hell was up with that outfit.  Definitely a cast-out from "What Not To Wear"

The show has become a total farce.  I will no longer watch.  Last year's winner in more ways than one convinced me that the entire concept of viewers' votes is absurd and has absolutely nothing to do with genuine singing talent.
