Title: Cunnilingus
Post by: worried_to be dad on December 14, 2009, 07:33:36 am
Hi,

I am a to be dad. I have been monogamous all my life, I was at a strip club 2 weeks ago and happened to perform cunnilingus on a stripper for maximum 30 secs. That is all I did. I have been feeling just fine. I am just consumed with awful thoughts. I'm not sure if I should have sex with my pregnant wife. Do I need to get tested?

You are worrying totally unnecessarily. And yes, you can safely have sex with your wife. Cunnilingus is only risky in theory. In the real world of HIV transmission doesn't happen that way. Your saliva contains over a dozen elements and proteins which very effectively create a barrier to the transmission of viable HIV, if it is present.

You did what you did. Accept that, take a breath and let it go. That's the best thing for your family and for you. And then get on with your life.

This is not an HIV situation. Period.

Thanks Andy for your quick response. So, I don't need testing, right?

worried,

No risk means no testing for hiv is necessary. Going down on a woman is not a risk for hiv infection.

Ann & Andy

I am still extremely concerned about that one cunnlingus episode witha stripper. I have had sex only with my wife and no one else all my life. I know this is more a mental battle. What should I do. Any help from you guys will be great. God bless you guys.

worried,

We cannot help you with your "mental battle" here. You need to see a mental health therapist face-to-face. Ask your regular doctor for a referral.

And if you cannot bring yourself to believe our NO RISK assessment of your situation, then go test and collect your negative result.

Guys,

Does a high WBC count of 11,300 indicate anything? I have been extremely stressed and I know that can be a factor. Shoud I be worried??

Thanks a lot

If you are concerned see a doctor. Has nothing to do with HIV as you have been told.

This is still not an HIV issue. And a high WBC count doesn't change the facts of your recent experience as far as HIV is concerned.

Seems to me you are just having some post-straying guilt and anxiety which have nothing really to do with HIV.

Discuss your WBC count with your doctor. It has nothing to do with HIV.

Good. You did what you did and you can't undo that. Take a breath, let it go and get on with your life.

Cheers.
