So...Michael Vick is awaiting word from the NFL to find out what a "guilty" plea will mean for his football career.  I personally think that is rather moot at this point.  As far as I am concerned, he is finished.  All of the other co-defendents have copped a plea deal, leaving only Vick in the balance.  He has until Friday to fess up.  Otherwise, additional charges will mount.  A plea may result in one year in jail in addition to other fines.

At this point, it seems not a question of guilt, but a question of weighing potential consequences.  This man really makes me ill on a very personal level.  Sorry, but that's my stance.  He had absolutely no need for this behavior (as if anyone does), but he can't even claim a motivation of financial desperation.  He just flat out did it.

In Louisville, we find the whole Vick affair somewhat funny.  The Falcon's coach, Bobby Petrino left University of Louisville for Atlanta.  He had it made here, just won the orange bowl, had a Heisman Trophy candidate this upcoming season and left it all for the money of course and the opportunity to be Vick's whippin' boy.

The ultimate HA Fuckin' HA of this for me is that it's already costing him far and above what the courts are suggesting. 

And ever so rightly so.


On a related note...I have heard that there is now a Michael Vick chew toy on the market.

A big wag of the tail for this latest development.  The Humane Society now using old Vick jerseys to clean kennels and for dogs to use as bedding.  They are getting flooded with them from all over the country.

Isn't that the "IN THING" when one gets themselves is serious trouble, "I found Jesus?" The only Bible Vick has seen, is the one recently that got put up against his head by his father and mother.

That rat bastard tied up traffic downtown for his stupid statement.

He might have found Jesus under the sofa cushion... but there are two things Americans will never, ever forgive celebrities (or anyone else for that matter) for:

1) molesting children, and
2) hurting puppies and kittens.

You can do anything else... like smash an axe through a couple people's faces... say you're sorry and find Jesus... and we'll forgive you for it. 

But hurt a puppy?  You're burning in hell forever.  No out.  You are evil incarnate. 

He's screwed forever, I think.

If he'd beat his wife or girlfriend like other athletes, no one would have cared.  Which is pathetic... but dead puppies sell news magazines and battered women don't.
