  • Hi...
it's been a while since I have been here...
« on: November 23, 2013, 01:55:09 pm »
I have had a lot to deal with since I last visited here. I was in court for preliminaries. The criminals were caught who invaded our home. We had to live in a hotel for two weeks to make it to the court before we finally were able to legally leave to Montana.
Now we are dealing with finding doctors here. It turns out we have to see a primary physician to get a referral before the infectious disease doctor will see us. Since my Medicaid card has not arrived, I can't make an appointment yet. On the bright side my CD4 count was over 1200 the last time I was checked in July, my appetite is still good, and I have a ton of energy. Hope it lasts because I already have been without medications for two weeks.
My husband is also doing well. He has enough medications to last until his appointment next month. He has Medicare which is nation wide so he doesn't has to wait until a new card arrives in the mail. We just had to give our new address to Social Security and that was it.
In January I start school and hope that the Obama Care kicks in next year so when I graduate in Summer 2014 I can get private insurance. My older sister is a CNA here in  Montana and has a few connections for me to find a job here. I am going into the administrative side of health care. After a few years of college I am ready to start working. My first program was General Sonography, but I changed it to office health care.
Other than that I am doing well and am now a new home owner.

Congrats Idee on moving and having a new home!  I'm so glad the criminals were caught.  What did the court do with them?

Good luck in school too.  I hope you're able to get back on meds soon.

Welcome Back, I recently got back on myself.

I'm glad your move went well!

What meds are you on?

Take care,
Snow

HI,
I was last on Truvada, Lexiva, and Norvir. I hope the doctor keeps me on the same regimen.

The case is going to trial on February 18, next year, and they are currently in jail. I am not looking forward going back to Nevada. I do not like it there any more.
