Which Smartphone?
« on: March 07, 2013, 05:29:35 pm »
My cell phone finally died.  It's a Motorola Razor slide open and I loved it.  I just went to look at new phones and discovered that "cell phones" no longer exist, having been replaced by mini-tablets.  Oversized doesn't even come close to these beasts.  However, my only choice for a stone age cell phone is pathetic, so into the 21st Century I go.

What is most important to me in a phone is the music quality.  Bell tells me their HTC phones have the best sound, either the windows or android version (Beats Audio).  Does anyone own either of these phones?

Or, do you have suggestions on great sounding phones?

My brother is a phone geek.  We were just discussing the poor sound quality on so many phones.  They put the speakers on the back, I guess to bounce off your desk or table.  I noticed my IPad is often hard to hear, without cupping your hand to bounce the sound.  There is a plastic sound reflector for that, btw.  I don't know why I didn't invent that.

Anyway, my brother was saying the HTC One has awesome stereo speakers on the front.  From what I gather, it isn't available yet in the states--only certain countries.  But, reported to be in the U.S. and Canada by end of March.
