« on: September 08, 2013, 01:58:42 pm »
I came here to find information on Hiv after a scare and tested negative but I'd still like to maybe find a way to help, support, or something to yalls community.

I'd also like to do something like volunteer especially since the military will be moving away from my current volunteer location so I just wanted to see if you guys knew where one would go to get info or just places in general lgbt places would be good aswell.

Thanks and wish you guys well and praying for you

Whats your location? Are there ASO (AIDS Service Organisations) in your region? They might refer you to places that might need help.

Mecch had a great idea.  I know my local ASO has a hard time finding volunteers who are NOT also clients - which is one of their confidentiality requirements for any volunteer work that involves access to client records.

I moved your thread into this forum , we don't have a just tested negative forum , so this seems like the best fit .

As a HIV negative person you can post in this thread and off topic . Off Topic is were we discuss things that have nothing to do with HIV . Best of luck .
