The saga continues!!!!!!!
« on: July 10, 2013, 10:57:29 am »
Just a wee update....Im still waiting for my appointment re Peripheral neuropathy!
Yesterday,I had an appointment at another clinic , not my usual hospital.I didn't feel  or look too good .....but im glad I managed to get there.

They took one look at me, ran for another  doctor....and then found out my Consultant was already at this other hospital !He works between  2  Local   hospitals. They ran lots of tests , my consultant said that  i've got another viral infection, and that my body isn't absorbing vit B12 either.Lol!!!!!!!!!

Im beginning to wonder what else is going to happen.Sometimes   I want to reply to threads here...but  I dont want people to think...here she goes again!!!!!!She's had everything here!

More questions for you all...anyone else keep lurching from one issue to another?!!!!!!

Im on bed rest.....and not at work.Think im going for vit B12 injections starting friday!

Hi Britchick , first off you don't have to apologize for needing support from a support forum , this is why we are here .   ;) .

I know the feeling of running from one health crisis to the other ... I had just began to feel good again and now have a pinched nerve in my neck . I wish I could say I got the injury from saving the world from doom but the truth is I was cleaning my car windows , so it was a horrible windex accident .  :o .

You may be having a run of bad luck or maybe some of the issues you are having have lingered there for awhile and are all popping up at once . It sounds like the things you are dealing with will improve with treatment , so better days ahead . Best of luck and feel better .

   Hey Britchick,

I hate to hear you're having a rough go at it right now.   While you may have been through a lot, I don't think you've been through everything.... and that's a good thing.

Hopefully this bed rest helps and the B 12 injections do the job..

I hope you're feeling a little bit better...  I know it stinks to feel under the weather, so I hope viral infection clears up.

Certainly hope you're feeling better.  I think many of us move from one health crisis to another.

Cheers Wolfter

I had the first of my 5 vit b12 injections today. It was fine....so anyone having sweats, fatigue,  peripheral neuropathy, insomnia etc.it might be worth being tested for this too.

As for the viral infection....just time , fluids etc....Im more miffed as its very hot here in the  UK..and im stuck in front of the fan......No sunbathing.....or "wee refreshments" this weekend :(.Lol!!!!!!)....then im freezing ...and turned on my electric blanket....now hot again!!!!!!!Crazy!!!!!!!
