Its my birthday this week and the same day happens to be my HIV anniversary. I don't have the will to celebrate at all. Hope I will find something to cheer me up and will see myself partying.

Congrats anyway even if you're feeling less than totally festive. You've made it through another year. Many happier returns of the day.
It's also good to not pretend to be feeling anything other than what is real for you. That way when you find yourself happier you can really enjoy that as well.

Happy Birthday, even if you really don't feel like celebrating at this particular moment.
You've made it another year, which is an accomplishment whether you are positive or not. That is something to be proud of.
There is a tradition here, started some time ago by me, that everybody gets Birthday Swats!
So, when you are feeling more festive, keep in mind you are still in line for your paddling. ;)

Happy Birthday!
I love birthdays, even when I'm not feeling so hot. Try to treat yourself to something good, like Starbucks or Ben and Gerry's ice cream (the Wavy Gravy or Cherry Garcia are both good). Little things like that always make be feel better.
Oh and watch out for Mark. He's serious about those swats. He just can't get enough.

Happy B-Day 27.
I know how weird it is to find out you are poz on your b-day...I tested poz just a week before my B-day.
Now I celebrate my b-day on the day of my poz diagnosis, I am a teenager now (well teen as in more than 10 years living with HIV) and looking forward to adulthood.
The way I choose to look at it is that my B-Day is even more special now and the more B-days I have that means that I am winning this war against HIV.

Happy Birthday, "old man." I got my Western Blot confirmation on my birthday in 2006 - so I know the bittersweet feeling you have.
Have a glass of champagne, and celebrate the fact that you have lived and loved for another year.
Think of all those who didn't get the opportunity... You get another Christmas, another Thanksgiving, another New Year's Eve - and 52 more pay days!!!
God speed - enjoy your birthday - in fact, celebrate for the entire month - enjoy your birthmonth!!!!

You could turn that around with a little positive thinking.
Also I find it helps me to help others...gets my mind of ME.
Whatever you decide to do on your birthday.....
Don't do it alone....Get out and enjoy the day... if possible

It was my birthday on the day you posted your message. I hope that you were able to shake the sad feeling and have a nice birthday whether you party or had a quite day.
Me, I stayed home. I was content enough to just have an ordinary day of it.

Thanks to everyone for your messages, I am feeling better now and the day passed alright although I did not do much I was happy to enjoy my Ben&Jerry's ice cream at home. I have just realised that whether poz or neg life goes on. I am now 28years
